The more important question regarding age limits is this: How do you know a person’s age simply by looking at him/her/them or listening to his/her/their voice and therefore not knowing that person?
I remember a lady turn kids away because they were tall and she assumed they were too old. Although one kids was 16. Another neighbor invited the guys over, gave them extra candy and 5 bucks each. These kids could be out doing other things.
I am 34 I went trick of treating the passed two maybe three years without a problem I'm lucky I'm short with the right costume I blend in with the teens I say as long as you are in costume and being polite it doesn't matter your age
That's kinda embarrassing by age 34 you should be taking your own kids trick or treating instead joining the little kids. Free candy doesn't taste that good you werido
That's pretty embarrassing at age 34 you should be taking your kids trick or treating instead going yourself. don't you got any pride? You can literally buy all the candy you want at that age so why even bother?
@@liyahpaxton how's is it fun for an adult dressing up in costumes and going door to door for free candy. Little kids I understand because they're in a budget and sweets taste a lot better when you're young. I had a couple people ask how old I was the last time I trick or treating at age 15 and it was so annoying I didn't even bother going when I was 16 😳
I've stopped trick or treating. Its unfortunate, but I got to o many "too old to be trick or treating" comments when I was 17. It doesnt help that I went 5 ywars without doing halloween cause of some overly religious superstition
LoL I feel you when I was 15 during Halloween people kept asking how old I was . One guy even said are you sure your not 25 when I told them the truth 😂 but it wasn't my fault I was big for my age smh it was even a bigger problem in high school too because the city bus driver or light rail security would always ask for my age and my birthday whenever I would show them my youth pass 🤦🏾♂️
Once I went trick or treating with a older friend she was 23, I knocked and said the usual and the lady gave me candy and not my older friend, so I said " if you ain't giving her candy you ain't giving me candy, bai" and we walked away.
a twelve year old would probably feel sad knowing its their last trick or treat i feel like you should stop when u lose interest in candy but still go out in the neighboorhood and just hang out
The problem is when you're an adult you can literally buy all the candy you want. So why bother? If you're broke or on a budget than who cares candy doesn't taste that good especially if you're an adult.
@raidernation2163 to me, it’s not really about the fact that, since you are an employed adult with an income, you can just buy candy instead of going trick or treating for it, which renders that tradition pointless. It’s more about celebrating and immersing yourself into the spirit of the tradition itself. I don’t think life is solely about considering the financial aspects of everything. And hey, even if candy doesn’t appeal to you as much anymore as it might have years ago, you can always just give it away to some kids lol.
I turned 17 recently and went tonight, it was really fun! Got dressed up with my friends and all, it was really fun and would recommended going at all ages! (As long as you dress up! 🤭)
if you're friends are going than hell yeah go but if you're friends stop going you should definitely stop doing it by age 13 or else adults start asking questions and your gonna be embarrassed that majority of kids that doing it are below the age of 10
@@liyahpaxton what you mean having fun? do not know how lonely it is going trick or treating by yourself? All for what? A pillow case full of candy that's probably gonna give you a stomach ache by tomorrow morning?
When your cramming for the last exams in highschool maybe. Lol but really tho if the child is taking on chores and other big jobs around the house then maybe they should put away trick or treating so maybe 13 14 should be the last year in my opinion Halloween can really suck the energy out of someone

i don't care what anyone thinks if i like doing it then i will do it lol. life is too short to restrict urself from fun things if its not illegal.
