I was told by Reptile Basics where I ordered my heat tape that I could only tape it along the white line edge portion. After watching this I assume it really does matter as long as it's taped down? Any advice would be helpful to me. Thanks and nice video 👍
Job well done Dre ,,,,,, I am well pleased ,,,, Those animals n deed will turn you into a artist fo sho ' ,,,, I have created three electrical heat pads so far ,,,,, in the hole punch way ' with black electrical tape at the end and the beginning .... mines was different but still work good.
Does it have probes? How many? It can run two racks? What size tubs are u using. Thinking about building my own. I e heard the clear tibs can stress the out? Maybe tape them up with duck tape?
Yeah man I really enjoyed this video dude I like your style bro seem like a cool guy I just got into the ball python game so I'm kind of a newbie I've got two snakes sitting on my lap right now and four more in the mail on the way lol🎉😂❤
I have bred and had reptiles for over 30 years this is all wrong with the heat tape. u have 3 in heat tape and you have about 2 inches now that aluminum tape is only supposed to be on the edge. aluminum blocks heat so where the tapes is it won't create heat.
You wanna have the thermostat reading the temp inside the enclosure, not the tape itself. This is getting a lot of bad info out, could cause a lot of fires/dead animals. Just saying, always do research.
Man I enjoyed this bro! I always wondered how they snaked the heat tape without having to cut and re attach. Keep them coming brother!
Thanks for your support always bro!

Belly heat is superior to back heat in every way. Back heat only works where no heat would work TBH. Your setup looks perfect.
do u have to worry abt the heat tape burning the wood?
I was wondering the same thing
No, with the heat tape connected to a thermostat, it won’t exceed ~90°
Hey what inch heat tape is this?
Hey where did you get your heat tape from?
Like the whole roll?
We’re did u get that exact heat tape
I got it from my local reptile show. It's just flexwatt
@@TheSnakeGawd oh ok it just looked more professionally wired

And this doesn’t catch fire because it’s on wood?
No it does not, that is why a thermostat is so important.
first

That's incorrect
