Kudos for this quality content. As a Filipino living in Latin America, I never really appreciated our culture heritage until I landed here in Latin America seeing the similarities in culture and architecture. We need more content of this kind for our younger generations to be aware of being a Filipino, and hopefully more And more people get involve in our culture preservation. Coz honestly the last part of this video breaks my heart. Why only few can see the beauty in those old architectures. 💔

Malapit lang ang dati namin bahay dyan sa San Nicolas. Along Divisoria at Binondo madami din mga lumang bahay Kastila-Tsinoy and I’ve been always amazed looking at them. Mga old buildings sa Escolta if ma-restore eh napakalaking potential lalo for tourism sa Manila.

Actually you can see some structures in Spain like Granada and Sevilla that are a bit like our big houses in the Philippines that were built during the Spanish era. You can see the windows and grills are a bit the same.

Gosh the Tagalog is deep, I haven’t heard these words in 45 yrs! It is impressive. We want to explore Spain. I have been to Barcelona to sail with Disney Cruise Line and we stopped at Palma de Mallorca which was an amazing island.

I wish the government will create an implementing rules for the said R.A. in order to prevent the old pre-spanish houses (Filipino architecture) from vanishing into thin air. I flew there twice on a lay over flight as an FA for Qatar Airways year 2010 and it was the only European country I’ve been to, most specifically Barcelona as I resigned from the job early on. 😆 Sagrada Familia was not open for public that time yet. We were not allowed to go in. I thought you were gonna go inside! 😆 Makes me want to go back! 😍🥰🥰
Hindi kami nakapasok kasi Holy Week nuon at puno na ng tao, ubos na yung tickets :( Definitely a goal in the future!
