i got a 21 6days 500, paid 14.6 1st owner.. im about 22k into it now, with my sm setup..got alot of same parts minus a few, some different. just picked up my 707 suspension yesterday also
@@707LAKE Yeah i know haha, right now i have a duke 690 and i like it. But i want something new and ive been looking at exc 500's forever. I prefer more to cruice around rather than highway speed

I will keep looking been on Facebook marketplace and cycle trader. I also looked at the fe501. I guess those 2 are the best supermoto, what do you think about the CRF 450RL as a supermoto? Or any other you recommend?
@@alanbacon4722 personally I love the KTM but I’m sure the Husqvarna is just as good. I haven’t owned a CRF450RL so can’t give you my opinion but I do recall seeing some negative reviews in regards to the bike bogging/dying while trail riding due to the throttle/idle issues but I could be wrong.
Thanks! I like the 500exc-f bikes because they are street legal from the factory. I’m sure the 450 SMR would be a great bike. The KTM dealerships in my area do not stock them, not to mention I’ve never scene a used 450 SMR come up for sale in my area either. If I wanted a 450 SMR I’d have to order a new one, pay all the dealership fees, buy all the parts and have it inspected to make it street legal. Long story short it’s just personal preference… I’m cheep and prefer to buy used bikes that someone else already took a loss on haha This specific 500exc-f just happened to come up for sale with the supermoto conversion and all the parts for a good price. If a decent 450 SMR would have came up for sale in my area I definitely would have considered that as an option as well.
@@lt4camino awesome insight. Here in California, you can buy SMRs, but you can't get it plated in state. I'm a huge fan of the Sumo platform, but I'm just stuck on what I want to do. Buy a 450 SMR, add lights and signals, and then get it plated out of state, or convert something like what you have, and need to do wheels, brakes, power upgrades, etc. Either way is a chore. I’m looking at a 2018 450 EXC-F 6days now. Warp 9 elite wheels and Michelin pilot powers, 3 sets of plastic (including og) full black on it with black spoke wheels rt now. FMF pipes and full street legal light kit. 2700miles/75hrs dude wants $6k bo….is that a good deal? I haven’t searched AT ALL! Just seen this listing within a 1/2hr drive from home.
do you know what size tires and rims? I'm trying to spec out a wheel set for my 500 exc-f and can't find a lot of information about what size tires fit without rubbing

@@adrianfam8098 completely diff bikes you want..if you want high speed & heavy get mt09.. if you want fun upto 110mph, extremely lightt, get the 500

@@lt4camino I just missed one in NC the guy had tons of stuff on it, not quite as much as yours 500 miles on it and sold it for 13,500. Ugh

This is what ive been working for crazy amount of money into that bike
I bought my ktm exc for 5800, street legal and all. it's 2016 250cc 2 stroke, had supermotos and some mods. pretty good deal still.

Mines was 15.6k and another 5k for parts and wheels/tires I was unimpressed with the performance sold it kept my 23 690 smcr and bought a 23 duke 890r
