- I was very skeptical about the Echelon when I bought it but after shooting it and seeing the accuracy, I may have a new favorite polymer pistol! Please Like, share, and subscribe. Thank you.
Been trying to tell people how smooth the echelon is! Glad I'm hearing it from someone else too.
@@johnjohnalmand I definitely didn’t expect how good it was but it really is
The Springfield Echelon is the best bang for the buck pistol in my opinion.
@@vomeister I agree
What's up brother? I like Springfield a lot and the Echelon is amazing
@@whatsup24_7 It’s incredible, I was shocked
I rented one after hearing the hype and put no less than 200 rounds through it - I just wasn’t impressed.
Igs that’s why they make so those of guns bc the ones some think are the best ever some others are like 🤷🏾♂️
I was also not super impressed with the staccato.
I prefer my Bul Armory SAS Tac 2
My condolences to you and the family. I can hear it in your voice still. I know it hurts. Keep yourself busy
@@NEWYORK577 Thank you, I greatly appreciate it.
Awesome content man. I’ve considered the Echelon since its release. It’s going to be a while though. I just picked up a Staccato P Duo.
@@Hadouken5150 The P is an amazing pistol. I love mine.
Try H&K VP9. Or try the Walther. Comfortable with great triggers.
@@jamesoncross7494 I own both
I'll tell you right now I can name seven or eight things on my Springfield Echelon that a Glock stock Glock does not have that how much better it is than that gun
@@davidjirvin5410 I agree, the Echelon is way better than a Glock.
Blabla.. WGAF
Surprised there aren’t more aftermarket grip modules and triggers at this point.
@@jjacks8203 I’d almost be afraid to change anything on mine. I shoot it to well.
I really like this offering...but, I also wish they would offer a compact G19 ish size... Very few people want/need a full size, but options are a good thing, so thanks SA for offering it.... Now... bring us a compact and a compact full tac. version and WITH a manual safety option as you have just added to the full size.
Have you shot a CZ P10-F?
My echelon stings my trigger finger when I shoot it.. anyone else have the same issue ??
No lol
@@CoopZilla I’ve not had this issue with the Echelon but have other pistols.
@@gearrunner thank you for the response .. I thought it was something wrong with the COG or maybe the way I’m gripping the pistol 🤔
@@CoopZilla I think some pistols just got certain people hands better than others. The Hellcat did me that way but the Echelon doesn’t. I’ve had a few others that did that as well.
It's called trigger slap and some guns do that to you. The Glock 43x gave me nasty, nasty trigger slap; very uncomfortable to shoot. I put 2 mags through it after purchasing it, then turned right around and sold it. Hated that gun.
Question - sir
What's your favorite 2011 double stack ???
Have you tested the Springfield Prodigy yet ???
Thank You for your consideration - sir
@@m.j.b.3508 I have 3 Staccatos and a Wilson Combat EDC X9. My Staccato P is probably my favorite
Your reaction was identical to mine. I was pleasantly surprised too when I shot it. It honestly feels like an extension of your arm and your literally throwing the bullets where you want them to go. I got my ported like the Glock C variants and it shoots beyond ridiculous now. One of my favorite striker fired guns.
@@desmondbrown3548 who did you get to port it?
@@gearrunnerMonsoon tactical does it. Mine is great with stock recoil spring. No issues. QVO Tactical reviewed one.
@@jjacks8203 I’ve seen Monsoon doing them I was curious if that’s who you had. Is it the one large port or several smaller ones
Algorithmic commenter🎉
@@brandonlyon8549 Thank you very much 👍
An audible trigger is almost gimmicky and people focus way too much on it. Under stress or in a gun fight, you will surely not hear the reset of the trigger; hell, you will barely hear the gun shots. The more important thing people should focus on is how smooth the trigger is because a smooth crisp trigger = more accurate shooting, which is 1000x more relevant in a gun fight or self defense shooting.
Nice. But is IT better than s&w mp p320 ?
@@donio8194 This is the best polymer pistol that I’ve ever shot
I think I got slow for a while because there was complaints about some of the magazines on the first batch of them that got released the bottom plates were not put on correctly but after that they fixed the problem and there hasn't been anything since then
@@davidjirvin5410 my cousin was talking about that was well. He got an early one but he has never had that issue.
Because folks was putting the extra base pad on the 17rd wrong that was a use issue @gearrunner
In the shotgun space, and my house 3" is considered magnum, 6" is just showing off.
have you shot the walther Pdp Pro?
@@miltonoliver3705 not the pro yet but soon
Nice, but tough to beat Walther PDP Pro with Dynamic Performance Trigger.
@@raymicciche8869 I will be picking one of those up soon
I bought one with Aimpoint Acro premounted. Sweet firearm. I’ll be interested to see if you like the grip better than the Echelon.
@@raymicciche8869 I’ve held one in Charlotte a few months back. I did like how the pro felt way better than my regular PDP. I’m just not a fan or the regular one. The pro was pretty nice.
I like my echelon. It’s been good. Have 250 rounds through it. Just got a Red dot for it. Need to sight it in
@@MervinG1995 I wish they would make this exact pistol in a 3 to 3 1/2 inch for ccw
@@gearrunner they should being as it’s supposed to be customizable
@@MervinG1995 I hope so
Not your favorite yet until you try out the comp version
@@4bvenom733 I’d like to try the comp version but I wanted a threaded barrel to run it suppressed
@@gearrunner the ported berral on the echelon is super superior and different from the hell cat pro comp
@@4bvenom733 I hated my hellcat, got rid of it as soon as the video review was done.
is the weight loss series coming back soon?
