I love this juice around the holidays. It’s a Christmas tree in a bottle.
I had a 30ml bottle that my Aunt gave me from US, I'm from Philippines, and when I smelled this fragrance for the first time without looking at any reviews, It reminds me of Christmas Season. I fell in love instantly, it gave me a warm, cozy, relaxing, feeling cold type of vibe!
Burberry London is definitely one of my favorite fragrances. It is a winter type fragrance but I tend to wear it year round. It kind of just fits for me.
the bottle is kinda hideous though. i'll still check it out ty

@@alexgiedr6167 I get them but usually in close contact like a hug or something. It's not super overwhelming. I mostly wear it for me.
I have the littlest bottle of London and wear it approximately twice a year. I enjoy it. To me, it smells exactly like a christmas tree.
Was gonna comment but that's exactly how I feel it. Wear it a couple times a year because it smells just like a Christmas tree and it's perfect for Christmas eve/morning

I love this fragrance it smells like the holidays, I love the spice in it it’s such a warm smelling fragrance
Supposedly it's a hai karate knockoff; which isn't a bad thing since it's not made anymore and was wore by execs in the 70s 80s
This was my first fragrance that I ever bought. I love it so much!! Affordable, very very smooth addicting scent.. Going to be forever caring it with me since it is what started my fragrance journey
Love this scent...reminds me of Polo Green, but smoother. I think Burberry's biggest problem is performance. Only one from Burberry I get more the 4-5 hours from is Hero.
If sprayed on clothes, you can smell Burberry Brit for days. It is a beautiful scent as well.
It truly is amazing. I wore this yesterday for the first time since last winter. Truly a classic.

Glad to see a review of this outside of the holiday season, Ash. I've worn it between Thanksgiving and New Years for a few years now. No one else ever notices but I'm fond of it. Longevity is only 3-4 hours on my skin, though. I'm thinking I may take a break from it for a couple of years. I'm guessing after missing it for a while I'll likely have a greater appreciation for it.

I only wear it in December. The performance is not great and I reapply after 4 hours when I wear it to work. I do love the Port Wine note which I find truly unique. Definitely one to keep in my collection.
This was the fragrance that sparked this hobby. Blind bought it at ross minutes before they were about to close. At that time I wasn't a huge fan of it. I live in Hawai'i so it's not a type of scent we have around here but I grew to love it. I was popping by to find a fragrance that I'd keep in the car for when I go to the gym but the scent was so interesting and led me to blind buy a few more and that's when I discovered your channel. Hours of researching and learning everything.
I love Burberry London, i look forward to Christmas season just to wear this one. Beautiful scent!!
I bought a bottle just for the past Christmas season, I still enjoy the bottle for the cost. It was well received working in public transit with many encounters with passengers. I got Many compliments about the holiday scent.
Going to work on the tube in the late 80’s, 90’s & 00’s. This was the smell I remember, it’s just gorgeous. Burberry named this perfectly. As u can probably tell I have a bottle & always will.
This is my FAVORITE fall/winter cologne. I’ll choose this over any other fall/winter cologne.
It is an amazingly good winter and fall fragrance, this and CH men prive are my go to every time the weather gets cold!

London, was my first Burberry purchase and it was a great buy, most definitely.
This channel is awesome. I love this fragrance. I can spray it in excess and it's never too much.
If someone would ask me to list my top 5 fragrances of all time, London definitely would be there.
A cool weather gold standard back in the day. Really liked the sweet cinnamon and cherry undertone originally, but the drydown was always a bit plasticy for me. Still use it from time to time.
London was my signature scent for years (ADG in the warmer months) Ashton you should explore London and Brits elusive flanker (brit summer 2012 and London special edition 08 and 09) love those as well!
Love my Burberry London. Definitely a good fall & winter cologne. Only thing I don’t like is that it doesn’t seem to last long. But it is a EDT.
I owned it as a youngster. It’s an all time classic imo. Winter only.

Yes. Absolutely. It feels wrong to wear it at any time besides the winter holidays, but man, there's nothing better for those times.

Great review, I think Burberry fragrances are sometimes overlooked. On a side note, seems like the audio from your videos keep getting duller and duller, if that makes sense. As if each time you record you are adding a layer of cloth over the mic.
Have had a hundred ml for like 6 or 7 months. Wore it this last Christmas. Yeah. It's the best.
I picked up the 30 ML bottle a couple of years ago. I wish I had a larger bottle. I love this fragrance. It's unlike like anything else I own.

Got to try the new Hero. I had got a ept sample when i went in they had edp bought them both.
Good colonge for close contact...it doesn't project far also only lasts for like couple hours

Something about this fragrance just ended up not working for me after a while. But I’m actually really happy it didn’t, because I passed it down to a friend and he loves it and it has been the beginning of his fragrance collection. Not a bad fragrance by any means, just didn’t work for me.
This is such a fun and friendly fragrance. I don’t wear enough, but love it every time I do. I should note back in 2010ish it was my signature for a year lol.

I used to own this, and enjoyed it while I had it. Once I finished it, I didn't feel the need to repurchase it.
Picked up an almost full bottle from my buddy for $20 bucks…LOVE IT at that price but with the performance I wouldn’t want to pay much more than that.
Burberry London is one of those fragrances that I will reach for and wear just because I want to.
It doesn't project well but man... when you put it on and go to sleep, the tobacco smell after you wake up with knock your socks off.
I used to wear this 15yrs ago. Loved it then. Bought a new bottle last month and it isnt what it used to be. Much weaker unfortunately. Smell itself is still great though

I went to our local Drug Emporium about a 2019, picked this up before Christmas and ever since it is Christmas in a bottle or what Z14 used to smell like in around 1979, that since then has died a thousands deaths .

I received this as a gift from my cousins old ex-gf almost ten years ago. Immediately turned into my year round scent. I finally ran out and here I am researching fragrances.
Weirdly my local supermarkets and bargain shops seem to have a few Burberry frags in recently including this and Mr Burberry amongst a couple of others. Excluding Touch, which I have...what would you guys say is the best Burberry?
When I smelled it I knew it was for me I knew I had to have it
I found a 50ml in the wild for $25 CAD and snagged it. It's a pretty great fragrance for that price but I feel like it wouldn't be worth it full retail.
Hey, I just picked up a bottle of London a few weeks ago! I'm not exactly in love with it, the main reason being that I pick up kind of a weird "vegetable" note in it, especially in the first 30-60 minutes... I can't pinpoint what it is. Maybe I got a bad bottle? The dry down is much nicer with the cinnamon/spicy note. Performance is below average I'd say - maybe 4-6 hours and not much projection. I probably won't repurchase it.
found a 100 mil bottle with out the box at Marshals with out a price. Took it to the front and they slapped a Nautica Voyage sticker. $19.99.

I love this one but I hate its performance which is basically an EDC on me. I've found that Odin 11 Semma is very, very close to Burberry London with better performance.
Try some le male le Parfum layered underneath it if you don't mind the vanilla twist. Increases the performance for me.
@@mrscoob3450 LMLP is the one fragrance I’ve never successfully found anything to layer with. Closest was Jazz Club but even that didn’t work super well.
@James7995 I think it works well with other warm spicy fragrances. Cremo spice and black vanilla, spicebomb, Prada black, ck shock are the ones I layer with it. All of them don't have the best performance either.

I had London many years ago and literally just picked it up again this last weekend at a marshals. I forgot how good it was. Glad to have it in my collection again.

I bought this recently with a batch code of 2355- Dec 2022 manufactured. The juice is so weak, I need to spray at least 2 sprays to smell anything and it vanishes in 15 minutes. When I complained this to the seller, he said it was reformulated and these days it is quite weak. Is this true?
I scooped this one up a couple years ago right when I started getting deep into the fragrance game. I wanted a nice Christmas scent and so many people said this one was like Christmas in a bottle so I bought it. Now, I agree that it smells just like the holidays - it has the pine, the spices, and even hints of the brisk air. Love the smell. The issue for me was the fact that I literally could not smell it, even on my clothes, after an hour or so. Like it was totally gone. This has me thinking that it must have been reformulated at some point since it came out nearly 20 years ago.

@@roncondones I thought so at first because I do have a couple fragrances (like Dylan Blue) that I do go noseblind to, but my sister and friends have also said they couldn't smell it on me anymore either. Idk, it's dirt cheap so I can just spray more.
I have a very old bottle, and this should last. When I have worn it, it would last 8 hours when worn on the neck.
London and indigo blue remind me of november/december…p.s i don’t pick up any oakmoss on london (thankfully) indigo to me is a 100 x better than code colonia

Yes this is one of the few worth a backup bottle just in case you never know.
It’s been out since 2006 and no fragrance lasts forever.

If you have an extensive collection this is nice to have - especially around Christmas as Ash mentioned.
If you have or just want a limited collection go elsewhere - poor performance. That said the price is very inexpensive.
I got 100 ml of this for 20 dollars at TJ Maxx, not my favorite, to me it smells like cigars. I guess will try again, but I am thinking it doesn't work for me.

I will agree that it is a great scent and is a timeless scent. But the issue with the performance that Ash mentions here is much worse for my skin type. I owned this fragrance years ago and liked it when I got it, but it doesn't last hardly as much time on me. I can only detect it for like two hours and that is it, if that, but while it lasted it was quite nice. I always argued -- despite me not really liking these concentration flankers that are happening nowadays -- that Burberry should make a Burberry London Parfum or something similar to push the presence and performance of the original to a more passable outcome. Also, it is funny that Ash mentions D&G The One because in my experience with the EDP, it ALSO has pretty poor performance and I didn't keep it for long. To each their own, I'd say, but I like to have my fragrances last for at least a decent amount of time on skin instead of flying off quickly. But others have had better outcomes than me, so for them, I'm glad the fragrance works.
Ever tried wearing it on clothes rather than your skin? I usually spray my clothes since scents tend to not last at all on my body.

Am I going deaf or has the audio been a little funky lately on vids? So bassy, voice sounds super muffled into the background.
I’ve tested a lot of the Burberry men’s line at outlets. The scents just never really resonated with me.
Same - in fact this and the original Burberry for Men are the only ones I've liked even a little bit and London is the only one that is distinctive and memorable in any way.
This one and touch are the only ones i semi enjoy
