I’m just glad I got to bring you to your very first D23, David. Proud of you old friend. FRESH BAKED!!
I was just rewatching that video today 😊
20:39 Adam the Wood Pin-gate!
There are many great Disney vloggers at D23 this weekend but your presentation of the showfloor feels particularly focused and intimate-- despite the massive crowds. And it's as if you're channeling both your inner child and a sophisticated, adult point of view. Also, I appreciate your preferences for practical type rides vs. similulation experiences.
Simple Plan singing Can You Feel The Love Tonight was actually amazing! They sound great.
That moving floor technology could be used in a queue where you could walk in place to make you feel like you're making progress while the lightning lane people jump in front of you. 😊
LMAO
😂
Loved seeing Simple Plan!
I’ve definitely been in the original tram. My first trip to Disneyland was 1963 and just about every year after that. Thank you David for all the filming you do. I love your excitement as well. ❤❤
Oh yeah... I miss that parking lot in front of Disneyland. So few of us can still say we were there. And the PeopleMover.... *sigh* That's the first thing I thought of when I saw your Tron shirt. Being back the People Mover! Yes, that is a hill I will die on.
I rode that tram many a day, my friend. One time we at park closing, 1am,. we were all alone on the tram touring the parking lot stops and the operator came over the speaker and said "where are you guys parked" so he didn;t have to stop at all the stops. We were all the way back at Winnie the Pooh LOL!
"You look like that guy that makes videos on the timeline"
That's exactly what I thought about the "chair moving around on the tiles." Give me Mr. Toads any day! It's almost the reverse of how Walt and the early imagineers would create! Have a blast Fresh Baked!
Looked like such a fun time!! 😄 hoping for some promising announcements at the experiences panel tonight!
Wow! I remember those trams when I was a kid. 24:49
I loved riding on the very far ends of those seats, it felt like you could fall out at any minute. LOL
Looking forward to your positive input. Decided to stop reading complaints and just wait for the Fresh Baked take. Thank you, David.
Me too.
I am excited for all new Tron movie comes out next year
Yup, I remember riding the tram just after Disneyland opened and memorizing your drop off location.
Excellent video David! Thanks for sharing 😊
Omg, the tram!!! I remember the car park and those trams. And the Monorail Cafe that was across from the monorail station. Amazing.
Great coverage FB. Can’t wait for more. I rode those parking lot Trams back in the late 70’s.
I didn’t know that D23 could be so entertaining
been waiting for your video!
That tram brought back memories. We stayed at the motels accross the street and would take the tram to the last stop in the parking lot at the end of the day.
The imagineering pavilion seems great, but the rest of the show floor seems like a lot of shops from what i saw in another video. I think it would be neat to go but like everything they do lately, it's a lot of expensive, complicated hoops to jump through. :/
David, thanks for taking us around!
INCREDIBLES 3 2029! Can’t wait!!
By then Disney will be broken up and no more Pixar.
Love the random “Hey Dave!” Throughout the video 😂
24:49 - I rode those trams for years. Always said, "first and last ride of my day."
Watching you walk through the car show:
All the movie cars: Cool/meh
Tram: THERE'S A TRAM!!
@25:00 I have memories of walking over to and from the Pan Pacific and hopping on that tram ❤
Yes, I was in one of those Trams when I was a Child.
I’ve been on that tram as a little kid. Me my parents and my little brother. Remember being on that tram and just super excited for what was about to come!
Thanks for sharing your D23 adventure with us! So awesome to watch, can’t wait for more videos!
Friday and Saturday was ok at Imagineering. On Sunday everyone was scrambling, the cast would guard the block of people that made it to the small strip of blue carpet in front of the booth as their measure of how much to let in. ( You can’t stand in the hallway if the line is full). It was hilarious.
Meanwhile at the Lorcana area, they were smack in the middle of the convention hall, there had been several instances (I don’t know what) that traffic had been detoured from other places and the people who wanted to be there redirected.🤷🏽♀️
That parking lot tram brought back memories I forgot❤
Yes, I have been on those trams back in the day.
I would be going crazy at the simple plan set.
Looks like you secured tickets that’s awesome.
This is all really cool. Wish I would’ve attended.
I think the avengers e-ticket ride will be like Rise of the Resistance when it comes to coaster style
Great video!🔥
Yup, as a kid I used to ride on the old school tram
It’s probably because ElecTRONica was so cool that I found you. I was so torn up that I had to move away from CA in 2011 and I needed a daily fix of Disney so I went to a small site called RUclips and looked up Disneyland videos.
Omg yes, rode in that tram for sure! Once my grandma & I were early enough to park up front & walk in with no one else there, best memory of my childhood… But def rode the tram! I’ve seen the ones today & think, wasn’t that a bit different? But yes, I think this mist have been it. Ahhh the memories!
Adam got no pie 😂
Wow, I was on a tram like that! Very cool. It was the first (and last) ride of each park trip. All of those vehicles are amazing. Well, except for the A-team van. All of these displays are just amazing!
I remember those trams!!
The Beige Corvair at the end of the aisle! 😊... 31:09
Let’s go with the always special and always detailed videos of FreshBaked! 🏰✨
I remember seeing the original A-Team van back in the 90's at Universal Studios in California.
Not renewing our annual passes. Been a passholder for a long time, but now it feels like I’m going to be on the outside looking in from now on.😩
Sounds like a plan. Have fun!
FreshBaked. David, Liz, nice to se you 2 giving it the full on Disney in depth D23 experience. Liz was able to do all the shopping. I heard she had a truck parked outside the front door to take all her purchases. The " Snow White" trailer looked much much better than I thought it would be. The Dwarf's look like they've come straight out of a Victorian Grim's Fairytale book. Rest up, tomorrows going to be another full on day. Cheers, Chris Perry.
These crowds were crazy
Fresh Baked International!
What a great D23 first day! Honestly looks like they knocked it out of the park. And so did you, with this video. Thanks, Fresh Baked!!!
Ok ..I remember the trams when it was an actual tractor that pulled cars with seats. The yellow and blue ones were the upgraded versions.. loved them late at night
D23 looks so cool (minus all the queues haha), I have to make it there someday! ✨
Love how that TVA agent recognized you lol
Happy you had a great time. Now get some rest!
3:49 I agree, Avengers looks very similar to Disney Springs Peter Pan. I know Peter Pan is 3D mixed with some practical, so maybe Avengers will go that way.
8:35 I'm really curious to see where, and if, this will go anywhere for VR. It'd be cool if Disney maybe did a "walk around the park in the 60s" or something like that. Not sure how they'd do the VR, but having that capability is intriguing. Or have a whole ride where you control the vehicles and explore! Obviously have the capability of overriding the controls so vehicles don't run into each other. But there's an idea! I love that they made it and have no idea what to use it for 😂 maybe they're getting fan ideas at D23
15:47 seriously, cast members are the best at doing their job while staying in character but not being rude. They make a Disney experience! "Do what you want, I'm not your mom"
22:46 season 1 was great and after that it went down hill of being written by the same people who did Lost. It felt like they had a solid plot for season 1 had had zero idea where they were going after.
24:33 the pure shock and joy at seeing the tram ❤ I'd honestly do the same thing. Every Disneyland trip started on the tram
DVid thank you for shout out for Mr Toad! My husband absolutely loved Mr Toad 😊
I'm so upset it wasn't in September. I was finally going to attend, but August is too difficult for me to get away 😢
Yes I remember those trams when we parked in California adventure but most of the times we would just run all the way to the front of the park because we didn’t want to wait for the trams.
Tram. Yes I rode in that tram. Before DCA
I remember riding this tram at the end of its time at Disney when I was a kid, before they switched to the newer trams!
I remember the original tram, when I was a kid and then years later, my sister and I were staying close to Disneyland and we walked over and cut through the parking lot and the next year they started to build DCA. One more thing David was that Adam the daiiyWoo standing next to you getting the piece of paper like you did where the girl handed it out.
I am excited for the D 23
looks amazing! i’m so glad you will be reporting on the parks panel. i’m sad they won’t livestream it. btw, you need to watch once upon a time. i adored that show!
7:58 A wild Kitra from Ordinary Adventures has been spotted
Thanks for the coverage!
FYI I worked at Disneyland and the parking lot where DCA is now was our “employee” parking lot. We had a clocking out time clock quite near there, and would walk back to our cars. Granted this was the early 1980’s. But I don’t remember it being public parking. We entered the parking lot from Harbor Blvd. Perhaps it was sometime later public parking, but not in the 80’s.
Umm, no. Doubting you so we're a CM if you think that whole parking lot was employee parking g! Lol! I wThe parking lot in front of Disneyland & where DCA sits now was all public parking from the time Disneyland originally opened in July of 1955 until he mid to late 1990's when they started building DCA. I've been going to DL since the 1960's & that was always public parking there.
@@disneyparksloveraz maybe you missed the part where I said I worked at Disneyland prior to DCA being built? We parked in that lot off Harbor Blvd. The part of the lot closest to Harbor Blvd. was definitely employee only parking. Public parking was probably further off of Harbor Blvd. 😊
I love Simple Plan ❤️
Love the old trams!
I can’t believe you totally skipped Walt’s personal Disneyland car! 😮
I’m with you on Mr toads!
David I gotta fight you (respectfully and kindly) on this. The portrait of the Mariner from Haunted Mansion is NOT Captain Gore. Do I think it could be a reference? Possibly. But that is not how captains dress that is definitely either crew of a ship or a solo fisherman. Either way, just my opinion, just your opinion.
Can't wait for more D23 coverage!
12:38 designing props and set dressing for rides would be so much fun!
There needs to be a better system for people to be able to get tickets to D23
Hey Fresh Baked!!
18:22 darn! That's disappointing about Echo. I was really hoping it was good. I love seeing Indigenous and deaf actors getting complex work and showcased well!
Yes I had Road on those old trams as well.
love the thanks for a look at the herbies but was not growing up with the name during that time lol
that TVA Agent guy LOL
They should just turn the TVA walkthrough into the queue for the "King Thanos" ride. If it's going to be about the multiverse, it makes sense to have the setting be "TVA orientation." You go in, get the TVA spiel from Miss Minutes, something goes wrong, everyone has to jump in the ride vehicles, and you help the Avengers stop him from taking over the multiverse.
I've been on that Tram!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
If only Disney put as much time and money and effort into building attractions at the parks as they did into building pavilions at D23. 😢
I rode that type of tram all the time in the parking lots.
Have fun
11:03 I think I know the Imagineer with the bob haircut here!
My dream is to attend this event!
Poor Adam and the pin, lol.
I was at Disneyland yesterday, and the ride lines were pretty short in the early afternoon
I saw Gweniver from Onward
Did you miss the Rocket Raccoon. time door. It is like turtle talk. And yes, was on that tram. Love video
Tron shirt!
I enjoy the car show .
They need genie plus for that line 😂😂😂😂💀💀
Watching this just makes me realize how burned out I am on all the things Disney is doing right now. I'm not really excited for all the Star Wars content they are doing and even things that I liked like Loki, that walk through makes me remember I never watched season 2 and I don't think I'm going to bother. The fandom that haw grown around Disney that makes all these people want to stand in like to buy things or take photos or whatever these lines are even for is crazy to me.
Loki S2 was amazing. Don’t judge things based off of the RUclips videos. Watch it for yourself and make your own decision
@whiterabbit6669 I don't understand your response. I mean, sure, if I went to d23, maybe I would enjoy it, unlike how I assume based on RUclips videos. I don't see how that has anything to do with me not caring to watch disney+ shows, though.
It's going to be so much fun watching Disney get broken up under antitrust and lose Marvel, Star Wars, and all those other acquisitions, putting it back in its place.
Prescient call on the Tron shirt !
The guy who does those videos on the timeline-baked
8:00 - word on the streets of Paris is that there's going to be a Lion King land taking over the space where Galaxy's Edge was originally planned for.
Thanks for the new video! I hope the new Marvel attraction isn’t fully screen based. We already have Webslingers and honestly was hoping for a coaster attraction.
There will be no new Marvel attraction due to the government breaking up Disney under antitrust and the end of Marvel in the parks. Disney will go back to the 80s.
All right so what's the percentage here in the comment section who are Disney fans and really give a crap about Avatar ? .... I got to be honest I roll my eyes at how much they try to push avatar on us.
21:08, she left adam hanging.
