Great review man. Love the Orange. And kudos to your wife. She picked a fine looking machine. Got my 1st Jeep this past weekend. 2017 Sahara Unlimited. LOVE IT!! Subscribed.
Thank you so much Benjamin! I’ll pass it on to her. 🤗 You’ll love your new Jeep!! Be prepared to wave at fellow Jeepsters passing by……..it’s a “thing”! And start collecting some ducks. 😎
@@benjamindion7221 Hahaha. Well, at least you’ll know why there’s a strange little child’s bathtub toy on your door handle. We found out the hard way! Thanks again sir. 💪🏻
2016 jku sport no issues 123000 on the trip . Recently I put some 33" tires on it and I'm looking at getting a new besttop supertop ultra. Love it. Still pretty stock
Great overview and some very tasteful improvements. You really know how to perfect a factory ride. We just turned in our JL after three years because, like you, wasn't using for its intended purpose and my automotive ADD required that I move on... 👊
I have a Jeep just like, color, etc but it's a Wrangler Unlimited Sport. It's a 2018 JL, bought it brand new on April 1, 2019, have 50,356 miles . No problems and thinking of putting a lift on it with 35's. HAVE A GREAT SUMMER 👍
Ya know, I’m not sure sadly. I took to an alignment shop and don’t know. It probably says on the paperwork. I’d have to find it. Let me know if you really need it. 👊🏻
@@ShelbyBikeBoy - It absolutly needs to be adjusted due the the front axle being solid. When the lift is installed, the front axle is shifted to the drivers side because one side of the track bar is connected to the body and the other is connected to the axle. This is corrected by the adjustable track bar. Lift's also "tuck" the axle under the body which results in negative caster which is adjusted by the adjustable control arms. If you see the that the front axle is perfectly centered on the datum line or the center line of the vehicle, and you have not experienced any Death Wobble from negative caster, then the alignment shop did a good job. Nice Jeep!
@@toploadtele Hey Thanks! I put adjustable track bars on front and rear myself when I lifted the truck. Centered both axles. Factory recall was done on the steering stabilizer as well. But with correct castor you shouldn’t even need a steering stabilizer shock (in theory). Just settles the steering down over the “nasties”. Thanks for the kind words! 😎

How much caster did you have to add to the front axle when installing the lift using the adjustable control arms?

How’s the paint holding up? Seems most early JLs I see have hinge, door or hood corrosion.
We’re in Az. ZERO corrosion anywhere. Bone dry!!
