I work for a Quanta company. I am glad a guy like this is at the helm. I wish my individual company shared a lot of the same ideals as you.

Great podcast! I love the part about trust--I find when I know about my coworkers' family, weekend plans, hobbies--it makes it easier to align and work hard for each other. Can't wait for the next one!

love the channel and content your creating ! It’s awesome to see senior leadership at quanta are all from the trade and really creating great opportunities for the future. The world and workforce are certainly different today but you can’t erase core values of the trade and it shows that they get that ! i’m currently a lineman at an investor owned utility and part time rep with our local and unfortunately the corporate side here doesn’t get it . Keep up the good work 💪🏻

So many great things in this cast. All so true. I have watched some guys burn themselves out for the dollar. The hard part is the balance and enjoying the journey. I have learned to turn off work. Enjoy life and what it has to offer. The home time is really important while I was there. I needed to be all there. Then It's time to go get things done again. I am glad to see the changes being made for the better. The broken team seem to work twice as hard. This causes friction in a crew. I do agree with the change as needed for those toxic situations. This spread fast and can kill the good vibes. Sometimes it hard to be great and focused with good direction. While being clear with the goals we want to achieve. I have found myself needing to back up and slow the horses. Good communication is the key. Some people are not ready to receive the information and run with it at that time. Like having to wear all the safety gear. I had a discussion about wearing good boots to support your ankle. I have almost broken mine twice. Due to the high support of the boot. I only had a mild sprain. Things happen quick. I was able to keep working while healing. Then I nicked the steal toe with a chainsaw while delimbing a downed tree. Never knew it until later. Stay safe out there and keep up the great podcasts. Sometimes it takes a whole lifetime to figure all this out. It really hard to balance the road life without things good at home. Really nice to have the support. This takes a special person.
