Hudson Nichols actually they don’t, only special events besides wild area ones have catch rates of 100% and even then some still have closer to 50%. lots of unusual mechanics for promo and event dens.

It's just like Breath in that sense, you'll be surprised what you can get (and catch) out there very early game! It's so rewarding and the scenes are amazing!
I've fail a gigantamax snorlax 10 times one time with 1 hp (It was the same raid den) I lost to 8 different gigantamax centskroght, and 3 covidknights and a gigantamax ButterFree
So really early in the game I joined up with a friend and caught this thing. I expected it to be higher level than I could control but to my surprise, it was level 30. Later I caught a Gmax Sandaconda which seems to have confirmed my guess: If the Pokemon is higher level than you can normally catch, I'm pretty sure it will default to the highest level you're allowed to catch.
The trick that works best for me for gmax raids is to: 1) turn off auto save 2) hard save 3) if I don't catch it quit and try again. This way the other players got there chance and now me and 3 other will too!
The same as Kyogre. All gmax have the same catch rate as Legendary. Edit: well after some research only promoted gmax pokemons that's have the same catch Raid as Legendary.
I feel for you. I've tried many times to get a Gigantamax Butterfree but I'm never able to catch it Pretty sad about it honestly. And to anyone who wants a Gigantamax Snorlax (I have more then one) please let me know in the comments and hopefully I can help

I have but one complaint: the pink mushroom(s) don't trigger battles. There are impidimps chilling around that first pink mushroom, and if you light it and just stand there, they attack. If you light it and run, you won't get attacked.
The only time I’ve ever lost a dynamax Pokémon in a raid was a blipbug, which was 2 days ago. I hadn’t experienced it until then and actually thought it was supposed to be a guaranteed capture.
Tbh I think catching pokemon is fairly easy in the game, but that’s just my opinion. The only 3 Pokemon in the game I’ve had trouble catching so far is a sinistea bc I kept accidentally one-shotting them, and a ditto bc I had it down to low hp but it used my pokemons move which had recoil which killed it. Also goleisopod (I have no idea how to spell it) with its emergency exit thing.
if a dynamax to g-max is high than 1 stars the shield comes up and if it is a 5 star usually it is at quarter health when the first shield is erected and half health for the next one
There was an underrated fanmande Pokémon game that had gym missions, and a version of glimwood tangle and balonllea. it got struck down and now Nintendo made a copy.
After beating the whole game, I found 2 Clefable raids online and used an ultra ball both times, and it broke out both times. I had to wait to find a Clefairy in the wild to get a Clefable in my dex. I also had a Gigantamax Butterfree break out but I don’t remember how far I was at the time
I wish each gigantamax pokemon had its own story as to how you got one. Like a brief side quest with a small extra area. This game is seriously lacking in story/post game in my opinion so that would've helped it a lot.
I’m pretty sure bollonlea is a kind of reference to the roblox game pokemon brick bronze. Because the grass type gym in there was in a town, in a cave, surrounded by glowing giant mushrooms, and the town layout was exactly the same. Game Freak copy striked PBB, so it was removed off roblox, but this town is probably either a last laugh by game freak or something to pay homage to brick bronze, as a way of saying sorry. IDK.

Ive failed centiskorch twice and both times i had help online. I have only got butterfree and haven't even seen drednaw or any others

The promoted Gigantamax pokemon have horrible catch rates but the non promoted ones have a 100% catch rate
You need to be the host or play solo to have 100% catch rate. If you are guest your chance is based on that pokemon species
Rama Roy even being the host and/or playing offline does not guarantee you catching it
I found a gigantimax butterfree when I was level 15ish. It was level 17. I don't think it's too high of a level.
