  • project assemblé!: the time is now.
The Student Residence will ensure that students from the age of 13 onwards are able to live in a safe and secure environment when they move to Melbourne to follow their dream.
It is time to ensure The Australian Ballet School provides the duty of care required to house the country’s most promising young dance talent. It is time for families to feel confident that their talented child will be given 24-hour care when moving to Melbourne from regional Victoria, interstate and overseas. It is time to provide safe and secure residential accommodation to enable us to compete internationally and not be disadvantaged by losing Australian talent to overseas institutions that provide a student residence. It is time to complete The Australian Ballet School’s Student Residence.
We invite you to be part of a young dancer’s future by supporting project assemblé!

    The School's Student Residence
On Saturday 24 May 2014, the School secured a site for its Student Residence - a Queen Anne residence, located in The Avenue, Parkville, a short 5km tram trip to the School. Once renovated and transformed from a house to a Student Residence, the property will make for a home away from home for students relocating from interstate, country and regional Australia, and overseas. The School will then be able to best meet the duty of care needs for its students from outside of Melbourne.
