Hello. Perhaps you are not yet change selection filter while selecting geometry. Change from "Part Only" to "Entire Assembly" during select edges of a geometry for example. This will ensure you can extract other geomery shape from other parts inside an assembly.
@@CADCAECAMTutorial I do that but when I extrude a curve of the original part (for example an edge), the extruded feature belongs to the original part (it is added to its model history) and not to the new part I am creating in the assembly context. I am using NX 12...can you help? Thank you
