Thank you for posting this. I'm watching from Wisconsin. We lost our once great modifieds a long time ago. Here in the Milwaukee area, we had a five track series called the Milwaukee Modified Stock Car Racing Association. We ran Tuesday through Sunday with as many as 110 modifieds on a Saturday night and another 120 sportsman stock cars. In the 70's when they decided to go to open cock pit modifieds with wings on top it killed it. I've been to Grandview twice and it was the best racing I have seen since the 60's. We have pretty good sprint car racing but, our modifieds have been gone for a good 15 years now. Hope your mods never die.
