- In today's video, I grabbed items that I recently thrifted at the Goodwill Bins and upcycled them to create the perfect vignette! I absolutely love how they are so Springy!! I can honestly say that the floral needlework is on the top of my favorite list with these thrift flips!!
I'm so sorry that my videos have been coming out a bit late. I'm working on getting a fix to my internet issues. It has been taking days to upload my videos and it is so frustrating for me!!

I just love those cross stitch pictures, they are so so beautiful ! I cant believe someone didn't want them! And they look even more beautiful in their newly painted frames!
Thank you! 😊
I love your videos, the basket I love and your tansfer.
Thank you so much!😊
I loved the way you applied the crackle medium with the Fusion paint. It really complimented the stitched pieces!
I've missed these videos. Thanks for posting.
I’m trying to get a variety of videos for everyone. I will definitely continue to do these Thrift to Treasure videos! 😊
I love love love. Love the little footstool or the little riser. Kid used it as a rise or for a plant a potted plant. It's really nice , I like that
Thank you Dorothy. 😊
I like your thrift to treasures and booth updates, I find them inspiring.
Thank you Lamara! 😊
Thank you Sonnet! You're a darling! That was a nice Sunday surprise to have a Thrift upcycled video from you. The little bench is my favorite - if I must choose.
Thank you Martie! 😊
I am crazy about the door and the note pad holder! Oh my gosh! Beautiful!! The stool turned out so great! I love that I got to watch you thrift all of these items and then watch you bring them back to life, Thanks for bringing us a thrift to treasure. It's much easier for me to find the time to watch these. Thanks so much for listening! Good luck on your weekend project. What an ambitious thing to tackle!
Yes I have more time to watch these as well.
Thank you Sandi!
You always come up with the most creative and beautiful upcycles!
Awe thank you! 😊
I love the pink frames so very much, what a wonderful transformation!!! Glad I found your channel, new follower in me!!!
The crackle on those frames!!! I absolutely loved it!
It turned out perfectly. 😊
Love the stool! You inspired me to try painting my fabric furniture… I have an old ottoman I want to try.
You’ll be amazed at how easy it is! 😊
All of these turned out great ❤❤❤
Thank you Cassandra! 😊
I have used four different types of mineral and chalk paint, and DIY is the best for wet distressing, I feel. My favorite is the footstool today.
I absolutely agree about the DIY paint! 😊
You are quite an artist, so talented. I love your videos, they are so informative I get mesmerized & time gets away from my households, but it’s good because it helps me take breaks. Then I can’t sleep due to my mind running down rabbit trails for projects. 😅
Loved the little stool. I liked the white paint with the burlap color. So fun. Good luck with organization. Go girl, go
Thank you Jeanne! 😊
Love the stool and that crackle medium is amazing!
Thank you! 😊
They’re all fantastic ❤ the white basket is just timeless, which is my favorite style of anything! I just painted a large trinket basket the same and was just amazed at how simple and impressive that flip was! 🤯🤗
It’s an easy flip and makes such a great statement! 😊
Very excited to see a flip video! So agree, paint the stool legs black and will be a super quick sale.
Definitely with the stencil! All cute.
I think since you wet distressed the legs, the dark color poking though (although not the same color as the stencil) ties everything together. I love it!
Hi Sonnet! I really enjoyed watching your video today! I just wanted to tell you that I think you have a great “eye” when you thrift and pick!! Love the types of items you use when you do trash to treasure. And your ideas are so creative, and beautifully done. Keep up the good work-I’m living vicariously thru you! ~Cathy
Thank you so much Cathy! 😊
I like the little stool, it girl, centerize is not a word. 😉
Love love love your trash to treasures thank you so much!
Thank you Wendy!😊
I loved them all but I think my favorite was the needle point pics
I loved the framed needlepoint flowers🥰
Me too Sheila! They are just gorgeous! 😊
My favorite is first project and riser with lion feet.
Thank you Christine! 😊
Love it all! The stool looks great 😊
Thank you Heather! 😊
Awesome video! Keep up the good work.
Thank you Gail! 😊
I loved all the projects but the lion legged stand was my favorite.
Thank you Debra!😊
Love your thrift to treasure videos and hope to see more!
Thank you Ellen! 😊
I love all the products you have used. Great 👍 projects
Thank you Jackie! 😊
My husband just heard you say “centerized”. He looked at me with this puzzled look…I explained to him that’s your word! It’s a real word!😁🤣💕. Love all your projects today! That little silver lion stand is a cool find!!
This just made my day! Thank you for sharing that centerized is a word!😊
It is a real word but it's meaning is not used correctly in this context. I cringe every time I hear you say it. The correct word would just be "centered".
@@marciroen254that might be true…but I taught high school English for years. I don’t know much, but I do know that language is organic. New words are made all the time and our language is alive and ever changing. Sometimes I do cringe when the English language is not used correctly…other times I think hmmmm…new word…cool!😁💕
Centerized is not a word.
I like these thrift to treasure videos.
Thank you Deborah! 😊
Bonjour madame j'ai beaucoup apprécié votre tutoriel c'était vraiment cool felicitation 👍👍👍♥️🥰♥️
I love that paper u used 😊
Isn’t it just gorgeous!❤😊
I love these videos…none of the wasted chit chat…you are very talented…
Thank you for watching! ❤️ I’m assuming you’re referring to my LIVES when you mention unnecessary chit chat. It would be completely impossible to do a LIVE without the additional chit chat. I know they aren’t for everyone and that’s why I put out so many different forms of content.
@@SonnetsGardenBlooms that’s why I like these the best!!💕
@@SonnetsGardenBlooms The lives are growing on me. I just watched Fridays live while I was cleaning out the china cabinet. Part of the fun is hearing you figure out what is best to do. And fixing booboos!
I love hearing they are growing on you!! ❤️
I would love it if you showed what u got the item for and then intended sale price after
I used to do this a little bit, but I stopped because every area for pricing varies so much. I may do it again in the future. We will see. 😊
If I'm not sure about how the stamp will look I will stamp it on the clear sheet it comes with using permanent ink, then use THAT image to see if I like it or not!
I just keep the stamped pieces in a Ziploc bag, then when I get a piece I want to stamp, pull out the bag and play around with them all 😏 until I get the look I want!
But I think everything came out perfectly and I love them all!!!❣️🙏🏼 4 ✌🏼 AlWaYs
Love that idea!🤓
That’s an amazing idea! Thank you for sharing! 😊
Yes the silver piece does look better painted, but you redid the stamp because the distressing is different.
I wet distress fusion paint all the time but I do it within 24 hours of painting the item.
Thank you for this. I simply don’t have time to watch a full live video.
💜
All of the pieces are lovely.
The word you are looking for is “centred”, not “centerized”.
As in “I centre my stamp on the footstool”
Thanks Tracy. I have always said centerized, so I guess that is just my way of saying centered. Maybe it’s a Wisconsin thing.🤷♀️
Could the silver piece painted beadboard be used outside in a garden?
Absolutely! I would put at least one more top coat on, but it would be beautiful in a garden! 😍
Love those lion feet He looks like the Cowardly Lion🤣🤭🩵
😂
So if you use DIY paint on fabric you don’t need to water it down??🤓
Some fabrics won’t require water, but for the most part, it’s best to use a misting bottle to allow the paint to sink into the fabric. That way the fabric won’t be so stiff when it dries. 😊
We’re the screws hard to take out, it really annoyed me 😂
It just didn’t occur to me to do that. 🤷♀️😂
Yeh. Why didn't you just take the bolts out?
It didn’t occur to me to do that in the moment. 😂
Why are you shouting loudly? And the you go to a like whisper stage?
Not a fan of your lives. TrueType enjoyed this video
That’s ok you don’t like the lives. That’s why I do a variety of different types of videos, so everyone can watch the ones that suit their interests. 😊
I apologize for the critics. Keep doing what you do.
The footstool stole my heart! ❤❤❤However, I do love all the projects!
Love the decoupaged ceiling fan blade at the beginning. It would be pretty to do all of a small ceiling fan in a child’s room like that.
Ou acheter en France des beaux transferts plus le nécessaire ??.
Ce que vous faites est très sympa.
Hi Sonnet! I think you picked exactly the right color scheme for the bench -- not too matchy-matchy, as they say. My absolute fave is the lion-legged piece; your choice of the lion stamp was smart!
Thanks Gina! 😊
FYI you could have popped the bolts out b4 u Decoupage
That definitely would have been a lot easier! 😂
Awesome
Thank you Nancy!😊
It looks like the 2 embroidery pictures might be on some old paintings…if you look at the back of them , it looks like canvas and the frames are definitely used for paintings…if you haven’t sold them you might want to check that out😊
Love your creativity. But there is no word. centerized just centered .
I am 64 but could hear my Father's voice in my head correcting this 😊
Not much improvement on the four needlework pictures. They needed to be covered with glass.
Needed to stretch tapestry more, the wrinkling is distracting from the beauty of the piece
You didn't mention what you sealed it with after you painted the top with the DIY paint please
I think that very first project could be used as a macrame board as well as a note pad holder
These turned out great!
We're ladies watching ..not guys ...🦋
Hi there, first time viewing and new subscriber!! Loved the lion riser so much ❤
Love the videos but I have to turn down the volume. Waaaaaay too much chit chat

Those are wing nuts
Dark wax the little stool
For those who can’t afford expensive products, school glue will give the same finish as these crackle products. Application is the same…brush on, let get tacky, then one swipe of paint. Honestly, I’ve tried both and prefer the glue.
Yes! Thank you for sharing this Tara!
I guess you notice you have sags in your fabric. Probably should have stapled it on each corner. That was gonna be hidden under the frame. Before you put it in the frame baby. I'm just saying maybe that would have helped you
Yes I know that there is a little slack in them. I may go back and tighten them before they go into my booth. 😊
The fabric seems a little loose in the pics. I've heard pouring hot water on the fabric makes it tighter. Have you heard of it? I used it once and it seemed to work, it drew the fabric tighter. Of course you have to worry about it leaving a water stain. Just found you and subscribed.
Hi Estelle! I have not heard of that idea to pour hot water to tighten fabric. I’ll have to think about that one! 😊
Nice transformations
Thank you so much! 😊
❤❤❤❤
I would love to start selling upcycled items. I have a hard time imagining where to start. I see a lot of people who are well into thier business. But how to start from the beginning?
Penny you just start with one piece and most of us started selling on Facebook Marketplace or some other platform first. Then once you get enough inventory built up you can start looking for a small booth to move your pieces through. 😊
You are amazingly talented! Too hard to choose my fave, but I think I’ll pick the first…..shoes!
Thank you so much Marlene!😊
Could you leave the site about the couch getting painted with diy paint? I love your channel and your diys. 😊
Here is the link of how Debi Beard paints her couch. ruclips.net/video/kwEz633cwQQ/видео.htmlsi=0r_ZoFZSFEQHPTxb
Sonnet, you surprised me! I thought you were going to decoupage or use a transfer on that oh so cute little stool.....she is so cute.
Thank you Lynn! 😊
Welcome... Heather sent us😅🎉❤ Love the projects.
Hi Dianna! Thank you for watching! 😊
You need to get a move on because Heather at Create your own Cozy has got a lead on you!😁😁😁😁😍
😂
The knobs are called wing nuts!
Thank you! 😊
I always finish the back of my pieces as well.
It just seems to complete the piece when the backs are done! 😊
Hey Sonnet, loved the trash to treasure video! Just wondering when is the new spring IOD release? Thanks so much!!
Hi Gayle, they haven’t released a date yet for the new IOD collection. I will let everyone know as soon as I know! 😊
@@SonnetsGardenBlooms Thanks so much!
They are wing nuts, lol. Not knobs.
I was wondering what you can use it for
😂 🤷♀️
There is no such word as "centerized."
What you want to say is "center," or "centered." The first is present tense and the second is past tense.
I know, people always give me grief about the way I say it. I have always said centerize so I guess it’s my own word. 😊 it must be a Wisconsin thing. 🤷♀️
There is now.
Great job🥰
Thank you Joni!😊
Love these❤
Thank you Rachel. 😊
Good stuff
Thank you Cathy 😊.
Thanks for sharing your inspiration!
All items were great. Love to see this format.
