  • Constructed by the Canadian Pacific Railway in 1967 to accommodate the large crowds visiting Montreal during Expo 67, the Château Champlain was the tallest hotel in Canada at the time and one of the tallest buildings in the world that featured precast walls. Nicknamed the "cheese grater" by locals due to its arched windows, the hotel features 596 guest rooms and 19 suites, a health and fitness centre including pool and a direct link to the metro and underground city. Today, it is part of the Marriott hotel chain and remains Montreal's tallest hotel, offering spectacular views of the city from nearly every room.

I never liked the exterior of the building, but enjoyed seeing some of the interior images and learning more about its history. Nice video!
