Nice battle rep I would just mention that it is the playing without priority who has to declare the first heroic action as stated on page 78 of the rules manual.
Thanks for the catch! I think we did most of the time but when I'm filming I get eager and forget to do that in order! Definitely something I need to be more aware of when filming these!
That would be interesting if you did! But I'm based in Texas. Howdy, if you ever find your way across the pond you can definitely find some games here!
New player here. Given how Saruman is expensive, is it a bad idea to run him at 500 pts tournament? Alternatively i can go with Assault upon helm's deep with the models i have
@@Ufuk-om9ox I think at 500 he still can be viable but you lose some key parts. Mainly, no horse, no Grima and probably no banner since you need the troops. I made a list for 500 points and still managed to get 26 models. Which is not too bad at that points level. If you did decide to run him though you need to make sure he is always surrounded by some troops because he is quite squishy. And use your magic to destroy their banner to deny them points. Hope this helps!
Do it! We use proxies all the time down here in Texas! Gundabad orcs are pricey and definitely a turn off from playing them. I mean I used Uruk scouts that only had a sword to be berserkers because I'm not spending a crazy amount of money on them!
@@tolkienaboutgames Yeah absoultely, I think afreind of mine is looking to use grimhammers for Iron hills as well, such a shame the five armies had to be an exspensive range
Yeah, anything to do with mirkwood and you are looking at spending a pretty penny! We had to 3d print a bunch of iron hill warriors for a friend who was just getting into the hobby.

Also I think I might have seen you at a tournament before you're based in the UK right?

Also I'll make a post of the list on my channel so you can see how I would do it!
@@tolkienaboutgames Thanks! I already had a small peak on the channel and subbed! Ty for all your videos
Using Uruks might be the push to get me into Gundabad, I like some of the models but yeah the prices on the average warrior is a bit scary
