The fact you go over EVERYTHING is the difference between this video and others. It's like most videos assume you know everything about the game, hand picks the information given and nothing really noob friendly that i've found. Great video. Haven't played realistically since there was no season, off and on testing seasons but lost interest. This really helped catch me up and nice background video for the stuff I already knew. Very easy to listen to and understand.
With patch 2.0 Blizzard literally created Diablo IV Resurrected and i can not wait to dive back in building a flexibility Spiritborn character within the new Vessel of Hatred content and the main game. Thanks for the the insight, Rhykker! Timing is a flawless victory 💯
Big ups for another excellent video Rhykker! No matter how much I try to watch other videos, I cannot bring myself to totally focus and follow up all they say and often end up closing it in the middle. You explain everything in a structural and pedagocical manner with your superb voice, which makes the whole experience very pleasant. So big thanks mate. Keep'em coming.
Rhykker, you are an amazing educator. If i could sub twice, I would. I am a veteran player of Diablo since D1. I thoroughly enjoy your unique way to explain things without being condescending or overtalking your audience. Well done. I loved this video and all of its content!
Literally trying the game since diablo 2 when I was waaaaay younger. This is the best and I mean the best explanation of the game and has helped me so much to understand what I need to do. Brilliant content and context 🎉 champion
I haven't played D4 in a year and I wanted to get back in this week-end. But I was a bit apprehensive about all the new systems. This is exactly the video I needed. Very well explained and narrated. I wish I could give more than one thumbs up.
Been looking for a couple days for a good explanation of this whole game and its mechanics . This is the best video I've seen so far. Thank you. Very well done. Got right to the point. You got my views.
I bought this game around launch, started a Rogue, they patched a huge nerf game wide and I never even finished the story. I just dropped the game. Dear lord I need to jump back in. Starting over with a Barbarian. This video is a blessing
if you bought the expansion, play spiritborn. it's predictably overpowered. but also expect it to be nerfed all the way to the bottom for the season after.
Lots of changes and additions to the game with this patch. Thanks for making the video to clearly explain how everything works and highlighting all of the activities players will be doing.
@@MrRhoidRage Actually yeah haha, I wasn't much of a fan of the slow paced grind like d2 or poe, and now I've heard from many that it got like d3 now and is worth trying out. All I heard in the beginning of d4 was disappointment.
@@kayayldrm2650 I didn’t mind the pace on launch but the looting, gearing and crafting system was pretty lackluster for sure. It didn’t feel very rewarding like most ARPGs should. I’m sure it’s their goal to get everyone off d3 so they can justify dropping support lol
I've been playing since the game launched, but this guide is just great!!! I enjoyed every explanation, throughout the entire video!!! In my opinion: a must-have training video for every player!
@letko6 what are you talking about? He said the overall story was underwhelming yes but the overall expansion whether it's worth it or not was dependent on the individual but that for most people it would be worth it. I'm not surprised that the story wasn't as a good as the main campaign because they were more focused on the content and for the most part people play the campaign once or a handful of times max. Interestingly most people agree that the base campaign was solid most many even saying it's the best but the game felt quite empty content wise vs here there's definitely a lot to offer in terms of content even if the campaign suffered.
@@wickedblade4751 the base story was underwhelming as well. The cinematics and carried hard. The game really doesn’t offer that much content. There is not any freedom to grind specific mechanics as you please. They have forced players to play specific parts of the game to earn exclusive drops. The problem with that is when you need drop xyz you are forced to grind a mechanic you don’t like. Ultimately the game is Diablo 3.5 and about as unimaginative and watered down as they get
Played when the game had just come out. Returned now because PoE2 infuriates me but still wanted more ARPG content. Seeming as D4 had VoH come out a while ago, I figured I'd give it a shot and boy am I enjoying melting everything, especially after getting my butt whooped on PoE2 lol. That said, I've just been winging it with the Spiritborn without having a clue what I'm doing. This video is absolutely perfect. Half hour into it and I already feel like I know twice as much as I did before. Thanks a lot. Must be hard being a content creator for a game like D4 that's been received pretty poorly and is now kinda losing relevance due to a strong competitor, but it's people like you that help make these game more accessible to those of us who don't like figuring everything out ourself so again, thanks. Keep doing what you do!
Exceptional content. I've seen some of your other videos where you're giving gaming news or reviews and one of the things that seems to be a recurring theme is, "Why there's a spike in playership that dies off." Maybe I can help answer that. I'm not a new player to the franchise. I own all four Diablo games. I bought D4 when it first came out and I had no idea what I was doing. It seemed like there were a lot of choices to make and I had no idea how to make them. In this video, you said D4 is a simple game but for someone like me, it's not. My perspective is that it's a highly customizable game and I lack the knowledge of how things work. I need a video like this to explain it. I like the fact that you explained the logic of the game rather than, "Choose these skills and blast-blast-blast." One of the other things that's a problem is that I'm never going to be able to play for long periods of time so my progress is going to be slow. Vessel of Hatred came out before I got very far in the original timeline. That's okay because Blizzard has a way for me to play both, so eventually I'll get through the whole game. In the meantime, though, thanks for this video. My personal feeling about D4 is that I didn't play because the game wasn't compelling. It wasn't exciting. But that might change if I can get some insight into how the game is supposed to work.
Man I really appreciate this video I needed a refresher and knowledge of alot of the new stuff since launch/season 1as that is when I stop playing cause of time constraints

Rune in weapons isnt always a bad thing its better to put the runes in the weapons as you will get more bang for you buck with Str gems in your armour with the scaling
