  • After tracking 17 million swings from users of The Stack System, Canadian biomechanist Sasho MacKenzie has unlocked the secret to reliable speed, and he’s helping everyone from rank amateurs to 2022 US Open champion Matt Fitzpatrick get faster. MacKenzie joins host Tom Coyne in front of a live audience on the Broken Tee Society Discord server to discuss all things speed-from ground forces and angular momentum to the “bad science” of the ball rollback.

Another outstanding presentation, and great information. Simply one of the brightest minds, in golf.

49 years old male. It works. 96mph to 110mph. Course speed is around 102-105. Still working to get to 108-110 on course. That’s my goal so that might be 117-118 with Stack. Handicap from 12 to 8 (other factors have helped as well). Sasho is great. 🇨🇦 Science is great. Thanks Tom.

It drive me nuts that the ball roll back is intended to fix a problem for a miniscule percentage of professional golfers while the huge majority of golfers who actually support the sport are harmed when most of us already struggle with distance. The professional golfer does not represent the people who play and finance the sport with our dollars.

Which system is better, the Stack System vs the Orange Whip?

Two different systems and goals. Stack system is most important for speed while the orange whip is intended to improve tempo

On the issue of injury i want to say that despite the intensity of the workouts, even at 69 years of age and with some minor injury concerns i have never been sore or had any hint of injury from the stack training. It's very well designed to avoid injury.

Have to think extra speed brings more wear and tear on the body?

That’s like saying running a 400m in 48 seconds instead of 75 seconds is bad. Completely untrue. Getting more athletic is never a bad thing

My swing is faster than I have ever been. I can get over 130 club speed. The only thing that ever gives me pain is my hands if I hit too many balls they will get sore from my grips. I haven’t had back pain from golf since 8 years ago.
