I can empathize. I'm no parent, but I have still lost someone to a car accident, though nobody was truly at fault in that case. One morning about 30 minutes after I'd woken up I overheard my mom on the phone with my aunt, and my aunt asked my mom if we knew someone (we did, his mom used to babysit me as a kid, which is how I first became friends with him and how I knew his older sister), and when my mom confirmed as much, my aunt broke the news. He'd been killed in a horrific car crash that claimed three lives and left three others (all young children) seriously injured. From what I understand about what happened, he was driving home, from the hospital of all places (a co-worker drove him there earlier in the day over health concerns while he was at work), when he most likely suffered a seizure behind the wheel and struck another vehicle head-on, resulting in him being ejected from his vehicle (despite wearing a seat belt), and instantly killing the two people sitting in the front of the other vehicle. He would succumb to his injuries at the hospital the following morning. The worst part however was that the other two people killed in the crash were the parents of four children, the youngest three of which were all seriously injured in the crash. It still breaks my heart imagining the living nightmare it must have been for the other families' oldest child to learn that all in one night they had lost both of their parents and all of their younger siblings were seriously injured.
And then to make things even worse, the local news stations tried to paint my friend as being the one at fault by claiming that he had been drunk or high on drugs, with no thought for the fact that his parents had just lost a son and his sister had just lost her little brother.
Sure, I may not know the pain of losing a child, something that nobody should ever have to go through, but I *do* know how it feels to lose someone suddenly and unexpectedly....and that's not even the first time I've lost a friend like that. The first time it happened I was only 13 years old. The summer before that school year started my best friend (who was more like a brother to me than a friend) moved away with his family and despite my best efforts we lost contact with each other (I haven't seen or spoken to him in almost 20 years now), and that naturally hit me pretty hard. But then I meet a new kid once I get back to school and we just hit it off and I think that maybe I've found someone who could help to fill part of the void left by my best friend's absence. And then, one morning as my mom is driving me to school, she overhears something on the radio news and brings it to my attention, as they were talking about a student at my school who had died. I'm still haunted by my response to this day: "It's not going to be anyone I know.". ....As you might have guessed, I was wrong. It was my new friend. He'd been with another friend of his (a 10th grader at the same school) when that friend found a stolen handgun laying on the ground, and in the process of trying to unload the weapon, it discharged and struck my new friend in the head, killing him instantly. Just like that. He was perfectly fine one day, and the next, he was just....gone. I spent that entire school day crying my eyes out, and even once I got off the school bus to go home I was still crying. And when I walked in the front door, my dad was waiting for me (likely suspecting that I had been bullied....again), and when I told him what had happened, he just hugged me and held me until I had no more tears left to shed.

When these fools driver over 100mph would come into court with lame excuses the judge would always throw the book at them to teach them a lesson that their actions could have deadly consequences. Sadly, 9 times out of 10 they would recommit the crime. People that drive over 100mph are, in fact, criminals and should pay a high price for their willful actions.

That’s deep! My mom definitely called me when she heard about the accident praying it wasn’t me. Everybody in the area was hoping a praying it wasn’t family or someone they know. The pure heartbreak these families felt receiving that call. God bless them all 💔

Yesterday a woman in petersburg ohio left a football game while her family went also. Fallowed her home. All the sudden her car shot off leaped in air and nose dived in ohio river. She was not the kind of lady to speed.
Something is going on with the gas. people need to start asking questions. I HIGHLY DOUBT this young lady who is engaged would intentionally hurt anyone or herself with such a bright future. Also some one started rumor she did it cause of break up. NOT TRUE.

plain and simple murder means she had intention to kill people, so it was not an accident but a planned action where she knew people would die and that was her intention from the start.

She’s a nurse? So what, that doesn’t make her any better then anyone else. What she did was horrifying.

The news would rather say she was a nurse rather than she was black.

I hope the driver that caused this horrific accident has to spend 40 years in prison. So reckless and irresponsible
