Great videos. Thanks for explaining the balance so plainly and helpfully!

I finally "get" the reason for the way you check your balance each time and your hand movement. Makes perfect sense. I'm going to try it! Thank you for your posts (I realize I'm watching some older posts, but these are so helpful they will always be useful).

I am so glad you have found it useful, teaching workshops brings it home to me how many people really struggle with recognising balance.

Hi, this was helpful. Now I know how to check the balance! I will soon try to 3-ply for the first time. Thanks a lot.

Great, it is so nice when your yarns come out as you intend them instead of being disappointing.

Good instruction. Better with 3 different colors on 3 ply. What do you do if you have too much twist in your yarn?

generally I don' because I test spin first and keep samples to match it to. If it is in your plying run it back through the opposite way. if it is in the singles and you have already plyed it not much you can do without a lot of hassle.
