*spoilers* What I like about this song is that he is celebrating his first actual toy invention instead of one that he made from stolen ideas, which kinda makes me a bit sorry for the guy when he sees his toy crash and burn, despite what he’s done
Actually, what makes it more tragic is that he truly was treasured by Jeronicus. Yeah, we saw him basically brushing off Gustafson in the beginning, but it was because he was over excited by getting the ingredient he needed for Don Juan Diego. After he calmed down enough, Jangle wanted to include Gustafson in the celebration and even had the part Gustafson needed to complete his toy, showing he was paying attention to him and really cared. Gustafson ultimately had karma come and get him, because he was too impatient. When Jangle finally gave Gustafson the part as he was being arrested, Jangle admitted that he was preparing to share everything with Gustafson, if only he had waited.

I watched this movies last night with my son. Great movie. Great music. One of best Christmas movies in years.
I honestly love his character. He may be a villain, but he was misunderstood and looked down upon as he was “just an assistant”.
