  • Lyrics:
The year has turned its circle, the seasons come and go.
The harvest is all gathered in and chilly northwinds blow.
The orchards have shared their treasures, the fields their yellow grain,
So open wide the doorway; let friends and family in.
I had the enormous pleasure of welcoming Caitlin Anderson into the studio to join me on some autumnal repertoire. As a fellow former choir kid and a current teacher, Caitlin was a guest who walked in fully ready to try anything I could throw at her. Whether it was hand motions, harmony, or matching deep fuchsia ensembles, Caitlin was game.
Caitlin Anderson LOVED joining her longtime friend Kate for this autumn edition of Songs From The Sandbox! Caitlin is an elementary school science teacher in the San Francisco Bay Area, though over her decade-plus in education she's also taught middle school science and high school chemistry! During the Covid lockdown, she also founded the Joyful Learning Laboratory, a live, hands-on, online science program for kids and adults alike. You can check out her website www.joyfullearninglaboratory.com or see what she has to say about teacher well-being and work-life balance on TikTok and Instagram @teacherbaecaitlin.
