Tone is 90% player and mic technique and 10% gear. If you’re struggling with obtaining a good amplified tone it’s probably going to be a mix of embouchure & having a good seal around the harp/face/mic. The most common issue I see from players is not sealing around the mic/harp. Any air leakage and the tone will sound thin and shrill.
@@norfolknwhey4787 I’ve been playing guitar for 48 years so I know something about tone. Been playing harp for about 3 years and got pretty good pretty fast with technique and what not playing blues like William Clarke style and some of the other greats. When I listen to players like Dennis Greunling play thru vintage Gibson tube amps and others play thru Supro Delta King tube amps I know that’s the tone I’m after I just can’t afford it right now. So go lecture someone else on tone.
Now that's milk n honey over crushed black velvet.. wowza powza tone..❤
Great pull Ron Shellist!!!
Bring it on home-ish tone, beautiful
Gonna look into that, already use that mic. Dig the distortion/grit on that amp!
Great playing. Sounds killer.
