    So we have WORD. Then we have polysemy of the WORD. Then we have strong and weak usage for each polysemic of the WORD.
    Lee's Elucidation: A finite number of words must be made to represent an infinite number of things and possibilities.

    The topic of "strong forms & weak forms" should be accompanied by the topics of "sentence-stress" and "link-ups" at the same time. My native language, Standard Indonesian, for example, is not a stress-timed language. We, Indonesians, speak English without stress, weak forms and link-ups. This is our big problem in international communication. We tend to make our own English, understood by Indonesians only. Someone has to do something about this.
