Natasha, I so appreciate your videos. Thank you for doing all the hard work in figuring out how to put different cards etc together. So loved to hear your little ones voice in this video. I love going through all my scraps and putting them together in colour schemes. But mostly I use strips not shapes. 🇨🇦
Hi Natasha. I found it!!!! Loved this technique and the finished results are fantastic. I managed to purchase some Stampin' Up wood grain paper pads and made some masculine cards like this and I loved them. Really like the idea of using up scraps and I have TONS of them, so I can see many cards being made using different shapes. Thanks for the inspiration.
I cut the centers out of card stock that goes underneath too. I just can’t stand have it covered up. I’m glad to know I’m in good company. It also keeps the weight down for postage. I am enjoying your videos very much and learning a lot. Thank you
We always need new ideas for using our constant supply of scraps. This is a great example and now l will put that die set to good use and hopefully get some appealing colour combinations like yours. The diamond pattern reminds me of men's knitwear from earlier days. Thanks so much for sharing.
Ruth Thomas Thanks you Ruth. l couldn't put a name to it. Funny how fashions re emerge. I'm in Australia and after rarely seeing it for years except for patterned socks it has started to surface again.
Hi Natasha, Love your 3 cards, great one's for male cards, and it is nice to see the word stamp being used, I have it and think it's wonderful with the dies!, and now I will have a go at stamping on vellum and creating a few cards, thanks for the inspiration, Cheers Anna.
I found out I hardly have pattern scraps, all blanc, but you had some embossed ones, so.. I'm using all my blanc scraps and going to emboss then all differently ! Waauw you are so brilliant, thank you so much !!!!
Kudos to you for cutting out the middle of that beautiful glitter paper I see so many people just glue the whole thing down and I'm like wwwhhhyyyyy? Btw I could listen to your accent all day.
Great way to use up scraps! The cards look wonderful and I love the vellum sentiment pieces. Good idea for attaching it to the cards. I always hate seeing the glue through it. I never thought of using one large piece of adhesive! I have both these die sets so thanks for sharing a great way to use them!
I love these cards! I don't have any diamond shaped dies, so I guess I will have to FORCE myself to go to AliExpress and order some! After all, I must have them now! lol This is the first video of yours that I have watched and I thoroughly enjoyed it, and most especially when your little one climbed up on your lap to say hi!
Great cards and a fantastic way to use up scraps. I see that you uses a liquid glue and or double sided stick it sheets to adhere elements to glimmer /glitter paper. I have not been able to get any thing but Stampin Up glue dots to stick to the glitter paper . What was the liquid glue you used and did it adhere well to the glimmer paper? Thank you.
I always always use the Multi Medium from Ranger in the Matte finish. In any one of my recent videos, I have links to it and the bottles etc that I use. I find it adheres things perfectly well to shiny or glitter paper :)
I'm a South Aussie and it's lovely to hear somebody that doesn't have an American accent. I am also using Ali Express at the moment and find them great as all he American sites have such expensive shipping costs. Please explain to me the difference between pounds cardstock and gsm. I am using 180 and 240 gsm and would like to know what that is in pounds???? Tku for your lovely and happy videos.
Hiya. Shipping can be an absolute pain sometimes.Often the cost seems so inflated for shipping to our side of the world! with regard to paper weights..i an really thee wrong person to ask,as don't even have a good grasp on it myself. I just use what I use and stick with it! lol . Thanks for watching!
Hi Natasha ,I loved the idea, like everything you do, please give me the width and height measurements, because that's how I do it in the cricut thanks
Hi Natasha Love this card. When you buy Foam adhesive circles From Scrapbook what size circles do you buy. Do you have an up to date shop on Aliexpress for the circles. please. Sue
Two thumbs up! Never having used vellum; couldn't you cut the sticky paper the same size as the vellum and just stick the 2 together? Thanks for sharing!!
I think I ended up using 80lb paper this time, just because I was using so many little diamonds...I wanted some stability to it when I came to adhere it to the card base.

I'm not able to afford a machine for the die cuts. Any advice for hand use?
Another great video full of inspiration. But, what do you do with the stash of horrible paper that doesn't match or look good with anything! lol.
Let my daughter use it to make cards alongside me! haha
papier-mâché?
Hey these look lovely! where would I buy the sticky vellum paper?
I added the sticky stuff to the back of the vellum. The vellum is from simonsaysstamp.com
These have inspired me! Could you post a link to the foam circles please?
