Clarified butter 1/2 cup (120g)
Powder Sugar 3/4 cup (120g)(14 tbsp)
Almonds 1/2 cup (60g)
All purpose flour 1,1/2 cup (200g)
Gram flour 2 tbsp (15g)
Baking powder 1 tsp (5g)
Baking soda 2 pinches
Salt 1 pinch
Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp

12 كوب زبدة نقية (120 جرام)
مسحوق السكر 3/4 كوب (120 جرام)
نصف كوب لوز (60 جرام)
دقيق لجميع الأغراض 1،1 / 2 كوب (200 جم)
طحين غرام 2 ملعقة كبيرة (15 جرام)
البيكنج بودر 1 ملعقة صغيرة (5 جرام)
صودا الخبز 2 رشة
ملح 1 رشة
نصف ملعقة صغيرة من مسحوق الهيل

I tried this today and it’s really good ! Came out as you have shown . It looks very rustic with the uneven shape due to the whole almonds but tastes excellent ! Thanks for this recipe .
In India we make nankhatai too but it’s slightly different from this one. We add chopped almonds and pista on the top but no egg wash . The addition of whole roasted small almonds and the egg wash that gave a beautiful colour makes it very special.
