Alyssa, as a public school teacher of grades K-8 throughout my many years of teaching, I am very impressed with your Abeka online education program as well as your loving discipline. Your enthusiasm for learning is contagious to your daughters encouraging them to want to learn. A huge step towards success for your children. I love the journal writing. We did that with our son, now almost 35, and he loves reading all of his journals. Encouraging children to read, write and love learning new things is critical in today's world. I applaud you for being an "involved" Mom (which tends to be more rare nowadays) with your children's education. They will strive for success and understand the importance of giving all the glory to God. Praying for the LORD'S richest blessings for your family .....
I've been homeschooling my 9 year old since Kindergarten and honestly i wouldn't have it any other way, i feel he learns/gets more from homeschooling than he would in public school, not saying it's easy but can be rewarding! Have a great year!!
You exemplify grace in what some would consider a stressful phase in life (teaching young children and raising your growing family) It really does encourage me about raising a larger family than how I grew up, and homeschooling someday.
Great homeschool set up! I love how excited the girls were to start school. I hope they get that enthusiastic in years to come lol. Love their little folders what a nice idea,
We stream Abeka Arithmetic 1 and use The Good and the Beautiful for Language Arts. It has been a wonderful change! Doing the full enrollment of Abeka can get overwhelming. I also found used Abeka readers for health, science and history. This change has shortened our school day and is also much more affordable! Thanks for letting us see a glimpse inside of your homeschool day💕
I wish I could get this organized and manage my time so well with 3 little ones, goodness. Life seems chaotic and hectic anymore. Your videos are inspiring!
Your school room is beautiful and organized. Your girls are adorable ! I have photos of both of my daughters on the 1st day of school every year. Keep up the great work. God Bless!
That memory book idea is SO cute! You are an amazing momma! I homeschool 4 little ones, using Abeka for the older 2. I appreciate your vlogs so much. You are so inspiring. I can relate so much with you (being a Christian homeschool mom/SAHM). It's just so good to be encouraged and see other moms doing this too. Keep it up!💕
I love your little classroom you have set up! I actually was homeschooled with ABeka (back then it was on VHS🤣🤣🤣) and was able to walk the stage at Pensacola Christian Academy when I graduated.
I was homeschooled in the 90s and we used Abeka video. Us kids would laugh at some of the outdated wardrobes....I am sure those teachers are retired by now! My mom was a school teacher and used many curriculum. She said Abeka is advanced and a great program for kids, especially with Math and Language Arts.
My kids go to a Christian private school and the curriculum is also Abeka and we love it very much! This year we decided to homeschool just for this one year and we went with Abeka homeschool program. I highly recommend it. The videos make the kids feel like they are in a classroom and in a way still get that “classroom” experience.
Way to go momma. We are beginning our 22nd year of homeschooling with Abeka accredited program. My last child is in 10th grade. My other two kids are 26 and 23 and they both used Abeka K-12th grade and graduated with diplomas from Abeka Academy.
Wow! Congratulations! 🎊 🎉 You're a veteran home school Mom. We used the A Beka accredited program until the 8th grade but quit as it turned out 2b too time consuming and structured for my son. He is now 19! Time flies! 😊
That is so cool! My little one is starting kindergarten in a couple of weeks and she is doing virtual school through our school district for at least the first semester. It’s not what I expected how she would start school but I am grateful for the option.
Neat organization tip if you do the art books. Collect all of the supplies you will need for each child for the whole year and put it all in a box. That way you don't have to scramble at the last minute to make sure you have all the necessary supplies for each art project ie. Pipe cleaners, feathers, etc.
You are so organized, please show me your ways!!! I have 4 kids 7 and under and I have a hard time organizing all the school/ craft stuff in our school room.
God bless you and your growing family! We love watching your videos. We started homeschooling last year and will be continuing this year. I love the setup for your homeschool room! Have a blessed school year!
I'm so glad you are home schooling. They are not exposed to all of the horrors of the world that way. I wish I had been when I was a child and if I had school-aged children, you can bet I'd be doing the same thing. Has nothing to do with a virus. It has everything to do with keeping them away from the horrible influences of this world. They will have plenty of time to see that stuff when they are older so for now, keep these babies safe.
What are you talking about? I was not homeschooled and wasn’t exposed to any “horrors” that you speak of. Did I meet people with different opinions? Yes. Did I meet people with different beliefs? Yes. None of that was horrific.
We love Abeka. We do single subject (unaccredited) videos for language arts and arithmetic. We do family style bible, science, and history to simplify and have together time ☺️
The Abeka program seems robust along with the checks and balances, and I get the homeschooling thing during the pandemic. My question is, if there wasn't presently a pandemic, what about the consistent social interaction with their peers that aren't siblings I think kids really need as well as working collaboratively as a team or group on learning projects? Where/when do they aquire those skill sets?
Picky Pants they are involved in church programs (before pandemic) and they also have a lot of friend and family we do play dates with as well. I’m thinking about starting them in a homeschool co-op 1 day week next year.
We also do the Abeka video accredited. I have a few at the moment. I saw you have the desks next to each other. How do they focus without distracting one another? My oldest can’t focus when the littles are each singing etc with their videos. Are those noise cancelation headphones? Mine have their school desks next to each other but have found they can’t do school side by side.
Have you thought about using amazon's affiliate program? It would be a great way to earn some extra cash. I know as a stay at home mom we are always looking for ways to provide for our families. Just seeing all of your amazon links just thought I would mention it. Great video thanks for sharing I just order the preschool videos cant wait to try them out!
You have the patience of a saint lol If I had kids, I'd Send them to school for a break lol probably not now with the way things are but jeesh. Im exhausted just watching this lol Good job girl. Awesome mamma ❤
K4 tuition and enrollment (full school year with all books included) is $350. 1st grade tuition and enrollment (full school year and all books included) is $950.
I'm so happy for you and your family, you all have the BEST PARENTS EVER ❤ 💗 to have raised your children with all their best at heart ❤ ♥ 💖 its a beautiful thing to watch, GOD Bless you all in Jesus name 🙏, 🙏 ❤
She's way ahead of everyone else. She handles her three kids flawlessly makes one wonder why people freak out about doing every day tasks like grocery shopping with ONE INFANT child not even a toddler yet. With covid-19 she doesn't have to worry about making the decision about to send or not to send. Not to mention their kids will be ahead of others and even if in the future they have troubles which is normal they have one on one teaching when needed with their parents. A win win. Not to mention they say children especially young ones thrive on routine and schedules etc which she has down pat with THREE YOUNG ones and one more coming. Although she's definitely entitled to having mommy and daddy time too n a break from the constant work she does all for the benefit n best interest of their children🐢🐢🐢Cara
We are doing abeka this year for the first time! YOU got me on it Alyssa! So excited! I wanted to ask you why you chose the dvds instead of the streaming? I chose streaming just so I don’t mess the dvd up in any way.🥴
I thought about doing online streaming just because it’s easier but we do not have the best WiFi and I found it frustrating when the WiFi crashes and we can’t do school. I also love the dvd option when traveling so we can take our school with us.
Thank you for this video. We are starting off they year distance learning for 7th grade and kindergarten. We may move to Abeka academy. Im a bit nervous 😓
Do you like Abecka ? We are doing similar k with masterbooks but my son isn't liking bookwork so I am thinking about all funschooling and life of fred for 1st
I like the clock in the background with color coded time blocks. Where did you find it? Or did you make it yourself? Have you found that it's helpful for the children?
Is Florida a strict state for homeschooling? I'm in Missouri . Doing k and and just pulled my 5th grader . My 16 year old daughter is in public school.
If there are any concerns with learning difficulties, being that they are attached to an actual teacher, would it be easier to get help getting that diagnosed?
Yes and that would not be the curriculums for them there’s time for learning what you can do solely on the computer designed for people with learning disabilities
When you use that program does it go all the way through 12 th grade? And also what do they graduate with...just like a normal high school diploma? Looks like a great program. Love your family. My 4 year old loves to watch bringing up Bates.
With Abeka they get a normal transcript and diploma like any public school student. The school (Abeka) keeps the child’s tests, ect... and then issues a report card based on their work.
As of right now we do plan to homeschool but who knows what the future holds. Zoey is our longest in using a bottle. She only gets one at nap time and tight time (4oz almond milk) but we desperately need to break her of it. She’s just the baby of the family and we’ve been slack lol!

Cool way of doing school and letting the kids go at their own pace. I love the school scrapbook idea.
Great homeschool set up! I love how excited the girls were to start school. I hope they get that enthusiastic in years to come lol. Love their little folders what a nice idea,
This is true dedication and love for her family .
I hand it to all homeschoolers !!
Love the booklet idea for school memories.
Very organized, and excited to see what all the girls do this year.
We used Abeka for several years and loved it. It is a great program and we loved homeschooling.
They are so adorable. God bless your family Alyssa! ❤️

Used Abeka with my now 26/22 year old daughters. I love that they now have a virtual component 💜
Love their enthusiasm for school. Great classroom set up.
Zoeys prayer was so precious! Beautiful girls, you both should be so proud!
I wish I could get this organized and manage my time so well with 3 little ones, goodness. Life seems chaotic and hectic anymore. Your videos are inspiring!
i Love how the Little one pray.so cute.
Your girls are so sweet! They remind me of my 3 girls when they were that age :) They are now in their 20's. Here's to a great school year!
Your school room is beautiful and organized. Your girls are adorable ! I have photos of both of my daughters on the 1st day of school every year. Keep up the great work. God Bless!
That is pretty dang cool that you set-up a special room in your house to be a classroom! Color me impressed.
What an amazing blessing you all are. Thank you for sharing this
Have a blessed school year!
You are a great Mom, with beautiful little girls. God's blessings for your family...
Have a great year!! We love Abeka! It’s wonderful that you work ahead with the baby coming and well, life gets crazy sometimes.
Your kids are so cute. I just love watching your family! Does anybody else think your oldest looks like Daddy ?❤

Thank you so much! It puts a smile on my face knowing I have encouraged you in a small way. 🤍
We use Abeka and my oldest is in his senior year and hopes to graduate with the academy in Pensacola 😊

Great job girls!! 😃😊😄 Abeka is wonderful!! 🌺

Love Abeka and love preschool prep!
This is our first year homeschooling. We chose Abeka for our curriculum as well. We love it!
God bless your heart, Alyssa. I don't know how your doing it with being so sick with new baby. Praying for yall, love your family😍
I’m still in awe of how long she naps for.. ! That’s amazing.

So excited for the new baby !
Awesome ideas, wish I was taught like that, many years ago 🥰👍
Glad to see it. I'm sure you're still figuring it out, as well as playtime with other homeschooling families, even if right now it's limited.
I smiled so much with this video! These three littles are so precious ❤
The girls are so precious, love them
It was great to see how your school day goes. Your girls are so we'll behaved...
Have a great school year.
How are you feeling, Alyssa?? Hope you’re doing much better!
Me and my siblings are homeschooled and we used Abeka
Great job Alyssa! I like how the little bench that Zoey uses turns into a desk.
You are so organized, please show me your ways!!! I have 4 kids 7 and under and I have a hard time organizing all the school/ craft stuff in our school room.
You have the most beautiful girls ! Wonderful family !

Yeah but Christian families home school because I want the kids away from liberal people
Your scrapbook idea is so adorable
Love their desks with the shelf to separate them! Can you link them please? It would be perfect for my girls too! 🥰
Yes! Linked in the description below the video.
So proud of you your a great mama
I have done a school scrapbook for my oldest now in 11th grade, and I am so thankful I did this. Both her and I love it!😊
We love Abeka. We do single subject (unaccredited) videos for language arts and arithmetic. We do family style bible, science, and history to simplify and have together time ☺️

That is so good to send them back to school early how is the baby
The girls are adorable 🥰

You are so organized & patient. :) How is your morning sickness now? Been praying for you.
Loved it!! I’ll have to check this program out for my daughter 💕
Are you planning on using the Abeka Academy all the way through graduation?
Love Abeka!!
You have a beautiful family! I have a question how long does it take for you to prep the night before a school day?
Have you thought about using amazon's affiliate program? It would be a great way to earn some extra cash. I know as a stay at home mom we are always looking for ways to provide for our families. Do y'all live in Pensacola? How are y'all preparing for the tropical storm coming in? 💕
Alyssa and her husband and the girls live in Jacksonville FL
They live in Clermont, FL
Alyssa where do you get the girls dresses at? I have 2 little girls who adore dresses also and always love how you dress your girls!
I like the clock in the background with color coded time blocks. Where did you find it? Or did you make it yourself? Have you found that it's helpful for the children?
I found it on amazon. It’s very helpful (especially for young ones first learning to tell time).
@@theWebsterFamily Thanks for the info! 🙂
It’s listed under the Montessori toys on Amazon
Is Florida a strict state for homeschooling? I'm in Missouri . Doing k and and just pulled my 5th grader . My 16 year old daughter is in public school.
Aww poor Zoey she kept looking back at lexie and her classes
Where did you get your girls headphones? I’m looking for some for my daughter
I found them on amazon.

John and Alyssa Webster that’s good. Were you homeschooled? Do you plan on finding out the sex of your baby?
