A woman who is a veteran of several World Cups and a winner, you want to see what kind of character Rapinoe is watch the US match highlights in the last World Cup against a group of part timers from Thailand. She scores something like a 7th or 8th goal and slides across like she scored against equals, her actions and Alex Morgan's counting her 5 goals on her fingers in celebration quickly made the USWNT one of my most hated teams in sports.
Womens football doesn't bring in the same audience as football does. So it's really weird to demand equal pay. The market decides that, thats how capitalism works. You also can't pay male amateurs the same because they don't bring in the same big audience advertisers and sponsors and tv networks pay for. Oh well, logic in 2019?
