did you know that you can set your tames on defensive (or aggresive) mode)? They will defends theirself and if they aren't attacked by a horde they likely will sirvive And you can put doors or fences to block the entrance to your base area 👌
As a 40 yo survival gamer I can say I'm master of this game thats why I hate to watch Icarus content but bro u have a different way of play like stroytelling stuff its really great. For me the best part u never watched the game before u play which keeps the mystery of it even for me who spent hundred of hours in the game not get bored whike watching u. Also if u like the game I hardly recommend dlc's for other maps. Keep up the good work. Warm Regards

Wow. The final moment with that rest room at the top of the main base was perfect. The wooden bench, the fireplace...THE VIEW. That wooden room at 1:49:27. Тhen the tour of all bases... and when you went to the first base, I remembered how you started and how much suffering you had haha. Well done! Amazing video! It was an amazing adventure.🙂

One of the Best Early Game weapons to get, Knife. Like all weapons knives have their own tech tree and can 2-3 shot wolves on Normal difficulty. They do run out of durability fast if you use them to Carve as well (its the tool used for skinning/cutting meat) so durability can run out quick but knifes are really great if you aim for the head. Wolves are my Early game hunt for food. Kill one, and leave the body in the open somewhere, Predators in the area will come for the "Fresh" meat. If wolves come, then hunt them leaving atleast 1 behind for more to come. If a bear or worse comes then your better off leaving. However, if a bear comes and water is nearby, (Water deep enough to swim in) then go into the water and swim backwards while striking the bear at the same time and you can kill it that way. (Same tactic works on most preds.)
I see that ive gotten some people that read my message and possibly used that as advice for early game, skipping the spear and solely using the knife or easy food by farming wolves. To make the hunting easy, say you just want the Leather, Bones, Fur.. When you hunt, harvest everything but the meat, leave the meet alone and preds in the area will come to feast. The Eye marker for awareness will turn into a Fork and Knife when they close in. As another tip, When building, Please dont waste time removing things you've placed just to put new pieces up. (Tearing down thatch to place wood, or stone, or iron walls and so on) Unlock and Craft a Mallet. Mallet Repairs walls but can also do something else, Hold 'R' and you can select a Type of Build Source (Wood, Stone, Metal, Glass, etc) and if you have the parts in your inventory, your can Auto Replace walls, posts, ceilings, stairs, etc. with the mallet. So long as you have the parts in your inventory and space for the parts your replacing, it'll switch them out for you. You wont risk structural weight by removing supports this way.
I quite enjoyed that ngl buddy! the panic of that big worm in that small cave would of been me too! Also cant believe the buddy died right before the end of the game sadge...
yeah I think they need to work on that, also I dislike how the animation they have to stop and then attack, I want interactive wolves where they launch then land and come at you again like a real life one. Make it hard :)
I just love how the “semi automatic” rifle is lever action. With just how detailed everything is that is just comical to me. I can’t wait to try this game out.

I was wondering why you killed so many high creatures that easy untill I realized you set your Open World to easy mode 😂 Especially as most of the time you were only using one of your three possible food buffs. You should try at least on normal. But nice video cuts
Wait, you need oxygen in your suit, but the planet is clearly heavily covered in fauna. You can get pneumonia from caves, despite wearing the suit. This game needs to be reworked before I even consider it, just based on that alone.

Rain reservoir isn't "clean water for drinking". It's just a bigger storage for water needed in later game or for your animals. You want the water purifiers (like the initial one that you put in the water that only does 5L). Also, your wooden windows are backwards. You lift them OUT of the building and the stick holds them open. You don't lift it into the building.
lol i love how your house burned down like every 5 mins was so funny, might be late but i tend to use dirt foundation as my floor and my house is less likely to burn down from the camp fire...

I've never played Conan but I've played soulmask. Which if you really think about it the mask just takes over your mind and bends it. Meaning it could easily erase the memories of their old tribe and replace those memories with you so they believed they were with you for years and years. Which is why they become your allies even when the mask is taken off. Just a thought to throw out there

I took that one in there to help establish a base for my one lower char and my kids characters. Lol I suggest that you establish a base on open world olympus. Make it out of stone and make it pretty large as I am constantly adding to mine. I have sheep chicken 5 mounts a tamed wolf and about 6 bedrooms and my trophy room 3rd floor has rooms and 3 tier benches cause I thought friends and family were going to join me. I also have my farm.. If you ever wish a tour let me know. Lol Oh just FYI sec map has crocs birds jaguars etc. And thier levels are high.

@@ShaneTheShadow its early access atm and is much more technical. It's basically surviving and building on mars(or other planets) if you over pressurise you habitat or ignite flammable gases you can crater youre entire base.
I have a major turn off to this game because of the lore. I get the atmosphere got fucked n thats why u cant breath it but that doesnt explain why fire, water, animals, everything acts like the atmosphere is fine. No animal appears adapted, or changed. It just doesnt feel right
Once you learn running always leads to death you learn to run at them and the way you can Juke enemies Bear is easiest to dodge, Polar not so much and stay in Sandworms Bite range and circle him with the odd jump before he bites to dodge it and repeat till dead And you need to speedrun getting stone building parts and guns ASAP, like I can't state it enough you wanna get a gun ASAP, you are golden and nothing can stop you with a Gat and some headshots........... On Olympus anyway Gud gaem, needs more resistance and reason to make a secure base, as there's nothing atm bar the odd animal or creature which quickly dies

u can have an open session I think, set it so players can join from your friends list.

Air is toxic due to a failed Terraforming Attempt and Exotic Material is making things worse, it's one of the first things it says when you look it up

Once you learn running always leads to death you learn to run at them and the way you can Juke enemies
Bear is easiest to dodge, Polar not so much and stay in Sandworms Bite range and circle him with the odd jump before he bites to dodge it and repeat till dead
And you need to speedrun getting stone building parts and guns ASAP, like I can't state it enough you wanna get a gun ASAP, you are golden and nothing can stop you with a Gat and some headshots........... On Olympus anyway
Gud gaem, needs more resistance and reason to make a secure base, as there's nothing atm bar the odd animal or creature which quickly dies
Been playing this for a couple weeks now and just got to the sand worm boss.... it was so underwhelming and dull..... what a let down
they do need to work on the bosses
Why did you build an entirely new base and not just use the hammer to upgrade your old one with the hammer?
different locations less travel, safe places to call into :)
