I just made myself some floral ears and when it came to the wire, I simply hot glued it into a full circle and then bent the bottom slightly to have it sit on the headband. That way the wire isn't touching the head. It worked out great! I love the red one here and may just have to make another one soon using that design!
Great idea Kalena! Thank you for sharing with us, we had not considered that design but that would be great! These are so fun to make, and you can really customize the look to fit any holiday/event too!
Love your tip about making sure the flowers line up on both sides and glueing the leaves together, not sure I would have though to do that. Thanks so much! These are both super cute! I finally have a great project for all my craft flowers! 😊
That's fantastic! We are so glad to hear this project inspired your DIY crafting. We love using craft flowers (you will see them in our other tutorials!) they are lightweight and look so cute!
You're so welcome! It was so hard to choose our favorite too! It just really depends on the wire you have - take a look at Kalena Myers's comment for an extra tip. 🎉
Very unique idea using only wire for the ears...I have never seen this before. Very cute. Does the wire allow you to attach jewel trim or individual jewels to add even more bling? Very cute. TFS.
Thank you so much! It's possible, maybe on a thicker sturdier wire to hot glue some mini trim or jewels, or even wrapping some ribbon around. Definitely experiment because additions may get too heavy for the wire, but a few extra jewels shouldn't make it tip over.
@@BalsaCircle Yeah, just hot glue. I made some tiny rolls of cardboard which I glued under either end to prop it up and make it more stable, then just wrapped some back fabric tightly over it and glued to the band before I added the flowers.
Thank you for your interest Lindsay! The red flowers we used are called Faux Pearl Flowers - www.balsacircle.com/72_Red_Faux_Pearl_Flowers_p/flo_prl_red.htm and the and we also used the mini rose bud craft flowers to fill in extra spaces - www.balsacircle.com/144_Mini_Red_Rose_Bud_Craft_Flowers_p/flo_rb_red.htm For extra bling, we used acrylic craft flowers from a local craft store. Hope this helps!
Hi Katie! We used On A Wire brand 14 GA 1.29mm Aluminum Wire in Silver for the first DIY (red flowers). The second look (blue flowers) was made with Artistic Wire brand 12 GA 2.1 mm in Silver Braid style. I believe both wires were 3yrds long, but obviously you won't need all 3 yards unless you are making more than one ears headband. You can find these wires on Amazon or your local craft store. Hope this helps!
Thank you Kat! We bought the headbands at Hobby Lobby but you can find them at any craft store, usually near the clothing or jewelry section. They were sold by 3. Happy crafting!
Hi Caitlin, the craft flowers can be found here balsacircle.com/collections/craft-supplies/Faux-Pearl-Flowers+Craft-Flowers or you can find more designs here: bit.ly/BCCraftFlowers Hope this helps!
@@BalsaCircle I only see the ones with the pearls in the middle instead of with the stone in the middle like the demo video. I'm really wanting the ones in the video. The pearls don't blend enough.
Hm, are you waiting for the glue to set before moving the headband? Once you put hot glue on the flower, hold it in place until the glue sets. You may need to experiment with how much glue to use, and leave it to set for a few hours. You can also try a different glue or even looping the wire around the headband and then covering any edges with ribbon. Let us know if these work!
We used our craft roses www.balsacircle.com/Faux_Pearl_Flowers_s/2329.htm and silk rose buds www.balsacircle.com/Rose_Bud_Craft_Flowers_s/2323.htm for this DIY. Hope this helps!

This video is so great! I've tried to make wire ears before, but the twisting method makes it look so much better!
Thank you! We hope you try it! We've also seen more options as far as twisted wire online so definitely a chance to get creative. 💕
Very pretty! Especially love the red ears. But then red is my most favorite color. 😁
Thank you so much! ❤️
Mine too

It was so simple to make. I tried it and turned out perfect!
So glad you liked it! It's honestly the cutest DIY we've ever done! We made one more if you want to try it: ruclips.net/video/fTaGdEYe-fM/видео.html
These look AMAZING!!! ❤ So in love with them both! 😍 Can't wait to make one for my daughter's birthday!! 😄 Thank you for the great tutorial! 👍

I love both of them but personally I like the blue one because those three colors are actually my favorite colors!!
Us too! The fun part is that these looks you can really do with any craft flowers, but it's fun to try different color combinations!
Those are so pretty
Thank you so much! We loved making these!
It is so creative that I must try after I bought some decorating flowers😍 It's so lovely🥀
Please do, it's so cute! Share your creation with us on Facebook once you make it, we'd love to see your take on this design!
All those look good for Christmas
Absolutely! You can definitely make them for the holidays! 🎄

I used macrame hoops for my 'wire' ears! They don't bend AT ALL and while they take a little more effort to attach I know they're really solid.
That's a great alternative! We definitely need to try that, did you use hot glue to attach them to the headband or another method?

I adore them look so very pretty, whats the name of all the flowers you used the first flowers you used at the begginning please ??

What a great tutorial! Where did you find the headbands?

Curious how well the hot glue holds up in Florida summer heat.
It held up to CA heat so far but we're not sure about Florida! Maybe E6000 glue would work better? Let us know if you end up trying it!
These are AMAZING!! New Subscriber!
Glad you liked these, they are so fun to make! Welcome to our DIY community! 🎉
This was post on my birthday 🎂
How fun! Happy birthday!
The links of the material seems invalid? Any other recommendation for the decoration flowers?

I tried to make this but my flowers came off, can you give me advice please ( I put hot glue)

Do they wires you use ever dent or bend?
The wire will naturally bend when you're working with it but once it was on the headband we didn't notice any issues. Hope this helps!

You can go to Michael's
I made these but with small roses
