he trail is an amazing 2KM journey, taking approximately 30 minutes by foot to reach the tower. There are two Windgaps, one at the car park's start and another halfway up, featuring gusty winds during the windy season (May to September). While the walk is enjoyable, extra caution is necessary at the second wind gap, particularly with children. It's crucial not to deviate from the path, even for photos, during the windy season. In thick mist, stick to the paved road for safety.
Though out the ascent, revel in breathtaking views of the Knuckles mountains, with Moragahakanda and Kaluganga Reservoirs in the distance. The summit offers two peaks, each with distinct viewpoints showcasing varied panoramas. The journey unfolds through pure, unspoiled nature, following a comforting, paved road. As temperatures drop towards the summit, it's advisable to bring warm clothing or sweaters for added comfort.
