Great job! I'm surprised how nice it came out, even without a base coat/repaint. Appreciate you going through the steps to light it better as well! Subbed for more modeling content!
Great job! I really like how you gave the Yamato's hull a realistic, weathered look. You should do a video on that. What parts of the build required glue?
It's meant to be snap tite but a few parts felt a little loose. I imagine it would be different for each build. Plus my modifications probably contributed to some of the loose fits.
Wow came out nice! I just bought this kit. If I may ask, what paint did u use for the red and grey? What was did u use for the panel lines and details?
Thanks, I didn't paint the ship I used panel line accents and dry pastels for weathering and then used clear flat coat from Vallejo to tone the plastic down and give it a more realistic look.
If you still want to consider the Bandai battery pack, go to Ebay and search "Bandai white light." They run right about $30. I just got the Andromeda today. The box is a monster! The model itself, at 1/1000 scale is almost as big as the old 1/700 scale Andromeda.

Thank you! I appreciate the support. I'll be building the Domelaze III soon, it's huge.
You're work is fantastic! Subscribed yesterday...watching a ton of your videos! Wish they were a little longer. Please keep them coming.
Thank you and thanks for subscribing..I'm still trying to find that balance between making my videos informative without being too long. Thanks again!

have you built that small blue ship? if you have not it would be cool if you did a small build video of it
I did, it's boxed up with my other Mecha collection ships.
is it in the same scale as the yamato or in a different scale?
@@bb-yk8oe I'm guessing it's 1/1000 but it's a bit small
very good model, has always caught my attention. Regards my friend

I only spent a few bucks to light it myself. I have the Andromeda it's a very nice kit.
@@EagleSciFiModeler I'd love to clone the Andromeda's light and sound board.
Bought this one and i enjoyed it (had to use glue on yuunagi) also what's the black ones for?
The black parts? It's been awhile since I built this. I remember having some extra black parts but forgot what they were for.
Excellent🖒😉
Thanks!
Is it required to paint the kit?
No, it comes in colored plastic.
WTF is this thing..I don’t get it..
