This helmet and gas mask combination restricts your field of view and is bulky, but has good protection and completely eliminates the effect of CS gas. (The original gas mask has been renamed Respirator and no longer restricts your field of view)M1Super90 Defense. This shotgun was cut from the game, and has been readded with new textures. It is unlocked at the start of the game.3-packs. Wedges, stingers, flashbangs, and CS gas grenades can now be gotten in 3-packs. Do note that 3-packs have the weight and bulk.equivalent of FIVE of those items, however.Suppressed M4A1, Suppressed G36K, Suppressed UMP. Just like the originals, but suppressed.Frangible Breaching Ammo. This new type of shotgun slug ammo will never overpenetrate doors.
You should cover this mod again using the last version (v6.4). Many of the issues you brought up in the video have been fixed, plus now you can delay orders and iron sights have been implemented into the game.
A number if not most of these bugs highlights in the video are either engine limitations that cannot be fixed because that's Unreal Engine 2 for you, or have been fixed in newer versions. New additions that he seemed to really enjoy that other mods had but not this one have been added. Futhermore, you CAN disable the gas mask view restriction with some effort by editing the overlay file, however this will prevent you from playing online.
The standard SWAT 4 didn't work for me without tons of fixes and so when I saw this mod, I just got it instead and I was amazed at how well everything worked. That was this Summer actually. Watching your previous review was weird, as I saw how...empty SWAT 4 is compared to SEF and how so many problems you had don't exist in SEF. In fact, with 7.0 being out, this review looks like it's missing a lot of stuff too. I'm almost scared about the thought of 8.0 actually coming out for SWAT 4. My brother and I got really good at this game really quickly, and neither of us really are distracted by the S10 with the gas mask, so we use it a ton, despite not using gas that much.
This is a really fun mod and adds a layer of depth to the game. Doesn't fix everything, but the original game was a bit of a mess, so there's a lot to clean up.
I really like the technical improvements, bugfixes and bigger and smaller quality of life-improvements of this mod. However, I feel a bit overwhelmed by the mass of additional equipment and some of the ai changes (insane/crazy enemies kill hostages immediatly) can be very frustrating. I would love some kind of "light version" of this mod that doesnt include the additional content.
I couldn't help but notice that some of the complaints about the mod are actually from the game itself and not from the mod. This mod looks awesome though.
Is there a way to make the crosshairs\accuracy not blow up and take ages to go down? That is absolutely ridiculous how you're standing still and one bullet tap flies 90 degrees to your right for no reason.
Very late but these issues you were mentioning , i experienced it in the base game ( AI stuck , killing civillian ) , i got so frustrated i looked for this mod .
Some of the gun can't be selected since the creator intentionally did it,and it's only available for multiplayer and all missions career. ,and won't show up on the original missions,IDK about the extra one but it might be.
+Wolfy you mean the not appearing thing? They showed up in-game, it's just that their models weren't visible in the equipment menu. After a restart of the game the problem seemed to have resolved itself.
When you play the Swat4+TSS You will notice that the weapons not appearing on the equipment menu are gone,so maybe it kinda bugged out, and not appearing on it on all missions career, sorry for my bad english :/
No I've played the Original Missions ,And Those Weapons (like we talk one earlier)wont show up it suprises why these weaps appear on all missions one, and not the on original missions ? Well The Dev Intent to do it.

+Christian did you install it correctly, run the bat file to play it? Outside of reinstalling SWAT 4 and then reinstalling the mod, I'm not sure what it could be. If you do reinstall it, I would suggest making a backup of the clean install.
I have fix the audio problem (wireless headphones) but the other problem is still there. You know the settings? It's written audio settings, video settings ecc but when I change resolution I can't see that, in game too the options on the screen bottom like "Arrest" ecc
Yes to both questions. The Remake mod changes graphics while Elite Force does not. Elite Force also has the player cough when they throw gas without a mask. Remake does not have this.
The only issue I have with this mod version 6.4, is that AI team members dont follow orders...50 percent of orders I give them in any mission, I have to repeat at least 3 to 4 times till they register it and actualy execute. Even a simple order like Fall in...I give the order, I hear my character (lead) issue the order, but AI doesnt respond and just stand there. I literally have to repeat that order few times till they actually do it. Other than that, great mod, shame this issue (not present in vanilla) kinda ruins my playthrough.
u can encounter same issue in vanilla altought less frequent then what u describe there. in vanila swat4 they also ignore orders at times or get stuck in a place, but its usually easy to deal with
If you downloaded the mega map pack, extract the contents of one of the 7z archives into "Content" or "ContentExpansion" (which should be labeled in the 7z).
i have the game but i have two applications for it the original game and the expansion but the expansion doesn't include the original maps or story and im a bit confused about it :) also when i go into my game files i dont have "content, contentexpansion, uninstall" like the mod is telling me i need if this is confusing no worries its prolly cause i downloaded the game illegally :)

Waaay late to the party, but which error are you running into? Because I just installed it today (just extracted the zip inside the main SWAT4 folder) and opened the mod through a .bat that's inside the SEF folder. Even managed to play it online with a friend through GameRanger!
I've always been a hard fan of SWAT 3 & when I played SWAT 4 the AI was the dumbest shit I could see in all the PC games industry. No wonder the company went out of business. Thanks for the review I will try it later on after I am done with the vanilla version. During my gameplay there was a period where i wanted to break the PC due to their DUMB AI

This mod is a must-have. It's so worthy to be included in the game as an official update to the game.

The thing that keeps me away from SWAT 3 is no gun show in view, like the first two R6.

Is there no way to fix the bug that happens at 9:04? Everytime my character arrests someone etc the gun would do that.

Alma Everett Just download the folder from ModDB and place it in your SWAT 4 directory. Then, click LaunchSEF.bat.
The drugs as evidence came with Stetchkov Syndicate.
+steiner1203 static drug bags were replaced by new ones that can be collected as a secondary objective.
