Hi Chris. Great review of Paddington Hotel. Very nice and cozy room. I love how you can go from the train station to the hotel. Just like how you can go from some subway station in Japan to the hotel too. A very convenient location for sure. Thanks for sharing and take care.

Agreed! Reminds me a bit of the Tokyo Station hotel. Really nice to just be adjacent to or on top of transport

Called the 3.5 Tophers again! I still think a standard room would be still ok. I think all the close by stuff was the best pro.

Loved your shout out to the Marriott hotel at St Pancras. Wonderful hotel but especially good if you qualify for the Executive room breakfast and snacks. Super convenient for to/from the Eurostar trains!

Very informative. Love your channel. This hotel has what I look for. Close to train stations and food options nearby.

Hey Chris, my family is planning a trip to Singapore this June and are thinking about hotels now. We are planning to book through Amex travel using the Platinum card. Currently 2 of the hotels we are looking at are the Conrad Centennial and the JW Marriott. Conrad is around $336 per night and JW Marriott is around $506 per night. In both cases they would be the most basic king room. What do you think is better? I feel like the Conrad is a bit outdated and the JW Marriott seems more modern and their breakfast looks better. Either way thanks for sticking with this long comment lol

      Hi Derek,
The JW is definitely the newer of the properties so yes it feels fresher, nicer, and overall a cooler hotel. And yes. The breakfast there is better (assuming you are booking the FHR rate that includes brekkie). I do like the Conrads location a little bit better because it's closer to the food court in the adjacent shopping mall. But if the price isn't an issue, the JW is really an amazing place... and I wouldn't hesitate to return

The Hilton Park Lane is much nicer and is not much more expensive. But you can’t beat Paddington for location.
