Ep. 48: Jake Wills BMF 10 Fight Recap

In this episode of the Being Human podcast, I sat down with ‘Judo’ Jimmy Wallhead, Joe Taylor and Jake Wills.
We recapped Jake Wills’ winning performance on BMF (Bad Mofo Fight Promotions UK) 10, last weekend.
Jake fought Elijah Butler: a high-level, experienced kickboxer fighting out of ATV. Jake showcased his wrestling, grappling and BJJ prowess to win the fight, as well as providing a great account of his own kickboxing on the feet too.
A fantastic performance by all definitions from the 17 year old HW1 talent.
We discussed:
The fight itself.
Jake’s trajectory in the sport of MMA and the commitment he has to his craft.
The changes to the HW1 fight team that have been implemented by Jimmy and Joe, and how this can impact the future success of the team in both mixed martial arts and BJJ.
