The cake itself it not too sweet or too lemony, which is perfectly complemented by the sweet and sour lemony glaze. The glaze adds the sweetness and sourness and extra lemon flavour to the cake, thus eliminating the need to add more sugar or lemon to the cake itself and creating the delicious and addicting contrast of soft and strong taste.
BTW, I made this. It came out perfect. I was a little hesitant about the roux-making step. I've never made a cake that way before. Also, the thing with pulling the batter up on the short sides of the pan was SUCH a great tip! My cake turned out flat, without the big mound in the middle. Thank you for this recipe!

I went with a tart lemon glaze (sugar syrup with lemon rind and juice) to brush over the top. There is no need for using another recipe as this is flawless. Hi, Eonni. I watched that in this recipe you mixed the butter with cake flour first. While in other cake recipe it was usually butter and sugar first and dry ingredients usually came out last. Is there any reason behind these order of mixing?

If you don't have a thermometer in your oven, I highly recommend getting one! Sometimes the oven won't actually be the temperature you set it at, and exact bake temps are important.
Mine collapsed , was all wet in the middle. I weighed out all the ingredients exactly ( yes even the eggs) and followed the instructions. Maybe the temperature is too low in the recipe? I'm a seasoned home baker, who regularly bakes cakes. I love watching these videos 😍.

사용하려는 틀이 사이즈가 7.5cm x 13.5 정도로 작은데 그럼 오븐 온도랑 시간은 어느정도로 맞추는게 좋을까요?? ㅠㅠ
오븐 사양에 따라 굽는 온도와 시간 차이가 있어 케이크의 상태를 보며 조절해야 하는 것 같아요~
저는 보통 틀이 작아지면 상태를 보며 굽는 시간을 줄이는 편이에요~
파운드 케이크를 구울 때 상하 열선을 다 사용하나요 아니면 둘 중 한것만 사용하나요?
