How to Delete Facebook Business Page

- You can delete the Facebook business page on Facebook.com on the desktop (Mac or Windows PC)
Simply login to your personal Facebook account and access your business page.
On that business page, click on settings. On the button of settings, you can click the remove page to delete the Facebook business page, but before you do, you can download the page. This way, you can have a copy of everything you've posted to this page.
Once you remove the page, you still have 14 days to log back in to restore the page. After that, the Facebook business page will be permanently deleted.

Man I can't find settings bar. Like what the actual ... why they made it so bloody confusing, but option to buy facebook ads are like literaly in your face. So unprofesianal smh
I managed to do this, thanks. But a week later, the business page was back! I tried to do it again, and it said by doing this I would deactivate both the business page I wanted to get rid of, and my own personal page as well. This is lunacy.
Oh my gosh! I'm literally taking deep breaths of relief after finding my way there! Nearly lost it, but managed to keep it together!

I agree with Johnny Lyon! You now have to select under your main menu to switch back to original page view. Then and only then will you find the settings tab at the bottom. I just spent 3 hours trying to delete an old business page that I didn't want anymore. I hope that this helps someone not lose 3 hours of their time trying to just do something that should be super simple! Hope this helps!!!!

I have a personal account page. It is linked to a "business account page" which I want to delete permanently. How do I delete the business page but retain my personal Facebook page?
After picking my page the options look nothing like you've shown here. there is no manage page menu on the left side and nothing else about it looks like yours. Maybe could you do an updated tutorial?
Are you an admin for your business page? I was only an editor for our page and I could not see the delete option. When I changed to admin, the options from the video are right there.

The "new experience" hides the delete button. Switching back to "classic" works per your instructions. Thanks!
how do I switch?
My computer page on facebook doesn't come up like the one you show. I go to the page I want to delete and go to settings but there is no "Remove Page"

Now you need to switch to the page you want to delete - click your profile in the top right - settings and privacy - privacy center- then Facebook settings - then Facebook page information - deletion is at the bottom.

New process, translated from Swedish so might not be word for word exact but very close:
You need to click on the top right picture and select the site you want to manage
You need to click on the top right picture again and selct Settings and security
Then settings
Then security
Then Information about Facebook site to the left
Inactivation and remove
Show
Erase side
continue
Enter password
Security -> Privacy. But otherwise perfect, thank you!

another update to how to do this/where to find it: in settings under the "Facebook Page Information" header, look for "Access and Control" and it's in there. You have to put in your personal Facebook password to delete your business Page. I was nervous that I clicked something wrong and was going to delete my personal page when that popped up, but nope it deleted the business one

I do not see the same settings on my page for settings. When I go to the page all I get is the page with no options on the left. This page was not a business page and Meta made it one, thinking this might have something to do with it. I cannot find any other instructions on line and there is nothing in any of the page settings. Your instructions were perfect, I just don't have the same options.
I do not have a "setting" option after I choose my page. I have been all over my business page and just cannot find a way to delete it. I guess it is yet another thing that FB has "improved" to make fb more "user friendly"? HALP!

switch to the page u want to delete > select settings > go to privacy > facebook page information > there's a "view" button for deactivating/deleting the page at the very bottom > enter your facebook password

Didn't work for me, I tried to delete my page and it almost deleted my entire account. The individual page I wanted to delete didn't have an option to delete just that page...

When I followed your steps, I hit a roadblock immediately. Went to 'pages'. But scrollng down to the bottom of the side bar, there was no 'settings'.

So basically anything you create on the Facebook app, you can’t edit or delete it unless you go on desktop! So wrong, how is that ethical? So pissed off right now!! 😏👎🏽

Nothing I have tried works. I have tried this video and many others says go to page you want to delete>settings &privacy >settings > page settings > access and control > deactivate and delete> delete > pick a reason why> continue> then confirm right page....but always shows my private page to delete when I get to this point it is trying to delete my private page instead.

@@johnnylyon3958 think facebook make it difficult to remove to get loads of dummy pages and profiles so they can claim increased user numbers . i gave up = 1 more 'profile' for their share price

After a lot of searching I found the setings when I clicked the profile pic. Click on profile pic - settings & privacy - Settings - Privacy - Facebook page info - Deactivate / delete
