When I was a child the neighbors and family use to come over some brought Mom's albums on Friday or Saturday night and sit around the kitchen table wit food and drinks you know that's back when black folks use to get along and take care if each other because each other was all they had. They kept MOM'S Red Fox And Lawanda Page kinda albums separate from the 45s a d they played them on the HiFI. They fed us kids and sent us in the back room to watch tv. And if they heard us laugh somebody would come back there ask us what we laughing about, And it has better had been something funny on that t.v. when they walked in because if it wasn't, you got your ass ripped and they said, GET CHO LIL GROWN ASS IN THE BED AND GO TO TAH SLEEP.... You know children back then weren't in grown folk business and conversations. They didnt cuss drink and smoke in our faces back then they respected children. Thanks for posting memories
