Hey everybody! In todays video I’m breaking down and reviewing the entire product line at Chameleon Sports including the Padskinz, Pantskinz, Palmskinz and Gripskinz products. I’m also going to be giving away 3 sets of Padskinz in our upcoming 10,000 subscriber giveaway, stay tuned for more details to come in another video soon. Have you used any of these products before? If so, how did you like this? We are less than 26 days away from a brand new season of weekly montages and commentary videos. Mark your calendars because October 9th is the date that everything starts again. I hope you enjoyed this video and I hope to see you again in the next video! -Trav4oilers.
I used PadSkinz on my Vaughn V4 pads. I find it to be a very easy product to use. I changed the colour of the outside roll from black to royal blue and it looked pretty good. I didn't last as long as I thought it would. When it came time to remove it, well it wasn't easy getting it off. That glue really sticks. I went to the local hardware store to get a citrus cleaner to get the glue off. It took quite a while and lots of work to remove it, but it can be done. I do like the PadSkinz and if I do get it again, I hope that it lasts longer than the almost 1 season I got out of the first one.
so if i was to put it on my gear for a whole season the only problem i would experience is it sticking when i remove? (not counting cuts and rips, etc)
hey trav4oilers, great video. I noticed on your blocker in one part of the video the underside is red and in another it is black. did you wrap the cuff and underside with pantskinz, if so how did they hold up.
+andrew johnston Yes I did, it's a little trickier since the backside isn't totally flat but you can use Pantskinz on any Nylons. They've held up nicely, I've had one piece start to curl on me so far about a month ago.
+trav4oilers awesome. I have the exact same blocker and want to wrap it with padskinz and pantskinz but I didn't know how the nylon would look or hold up on the cuff and underside because I haven't seen any pictures of it. it looks great. thank you for the info
+xMontage2Hockey I've never tried it on the sliding surface but in my experience Padskinz literally won't rip or wear at all. They will stretch but thats about it. I would say you'll be good.
+andrew Disu I used to use Duct Tape on my gloves but I found it never lasted. Plus duct tape it almost impossible to cut out proper shapes. Just my personal experience.
+Graham Charron If you wanted to cover the entire face of both pads, 2 large sheets would be more than enough. 1 large sheet would be just short of covering both. I hope this helps.
solid review! not sure I'd your subscribed to my channel but chk it out. gopro videos...I might grab some royal blue pad skin for my orange and blue koho's...might do the outer roll...but can't decide
+number5ful Thanks. Yeah they work fantastic, been using them for 2.5 years now and I wouldn't think of using anything else to swap colours. I'll check out your channel. Cheers.
Great review man, and your other videos are awesome too! Since you love goaltending so much, I know you would like my channel: live first person POV games from inside my goalie helmet! It would mean a lot to me if you could check out some of my videos and tell me what you think! Thanks and keep up the good work!
By far the best and most useful review I’ve found. Thank you.

+hockeypros1027 Thats it man, if you can deal with that then Padskinz is almost flawless.

Good video! I might be trying these soon.
Thanks Morgan!
you live in Winnipeg? just figured that out that's crazy haha
+Mattz lol I do my friend!
2020?
I got the padskins I glued them
If I put it on the sliding surface of my pad would it affect my sliding at all? or would there be wear on the padskinz when I slide?
+xMontage2Hockey I've never tried it on the sliding surface but in my experience Padskinz literally won't rip or wear at all. They will stretch but thats about it. I would say you'll be good.
+trav4oilers Ok. thanks! I'll try them out ASAP
xMontage2Hockey awesome, good luck!
Are these able to fix a ripped peice of leather on ny slide plate??
+PlaneButcher I don't know if it'll fix it but it'll patch it up in the mean time. They stick real well and are extremely durable.
I used a cheaper alternative...duct tape lol i havent tested it but its working so far start practices on Next Thursday so we will see how it goes
+andrew Disu I used to use Duct Tape on my gloves but I found it never lasted. Plus duct tape it almost impossible to cut out proper shapes. Just my personal experience.
if i wanted to completely cover the face of my pad how much would I have to order?
+Graham Charron If you wanted to cover the entire face of both pads, 2 large sheets would be more than enough. 1 large sheet would be just short of covering both. I hope this helps.
thank you man!
Graham Charron Anytime!

Reebok by LeFevre. Ha ha. Things came around full circle last year.

Century arena?
You know it!
+trav4oilers nice! I have a small hole in the palm of my blocker? Would that blocker grip you used help?
+Cam Schneider absolutely it will! It's designed to fix any holes in your palm.

Not paid advertising man. I wish I got paid though, I'm just trying to expand the channel.
