Having been to all major cities, I think roads in delhi are the best. Wide open spaces. I lived in the city for 2 years a decade back and it is an ever changing city with a very good public transportation system.
It is like driving on the dessert...No building and skyscraper around...city gives city vibes while there is huge structures around...not only beautiful roads. Roadsides will be full of Buildings small and big shops..with people around. Delhi NCR region have but in Delhi part its look like Roads on the dessert.

Some of the roads I guess were recently carpeted, and I think thats why they don't have lane markings. Which is dangerous. But I would always encourage my countrymen to drive in lanes. Not just it looks neat and organized. It is always safer that way.
No comparison between New Delhi and Lahore bro, may be roads are wide with green surroundings in some parts of Lahore but Airport of Lahore looks like 90s era normal city airport in India... Drainage should also be taken into account while calling roads as the best roads, from that POV Mumbai’s is the best because it receives far high amount of rainfall than Delhi. In delhi with few hrs of rains the roads turn into rivers.

@@milaanvigraham8664 The question is not always about the width of the road but the stretch that width is maintained. If you observe, Delhi and Noida have an average of 3 lane roads inside the city. That can vary to 2 for localities and 4 or 5 for ring roads/highways. And I'm talking one side of the divider. Also, in Noida there's a rule that there has to be a footpath followed by a service lane followed by another footpath (optional) and finally a green area which is a must beside the main roads which you can even observe being practically executed not just on papers.
