    • @AdityaRaj222
      @AdityaRaj222 7 месяцев назад

      @@milaanvigraham8664 The question is not always about the width of the road but the stretch that width is maintained. If you observe, Delhi and Noida have an average of 3 lane roads inside the city. That can vary to 2 for localities and 4 or 5 for ring roads/highways. And I'm talking one side of the divider. Also, in Noida there's a rule that there has to be a footpath followed by a service lane followed by another footpath (optional) and finally a green area which is a must beside the main roads which you can even observe being practically executed not just on papers.

    • @milaanvigraham8664
      @milaanvigraham8664 7 месяцев назад

      @@AdityaRaj222 This is exactly the way I think too. I was just saying this because OP said "wide roads compared to Mumbai" which is not true. He brought up width that's why I was countering that claim. That's all.
      Anyway... Mumbai (until 2017) throughout the "city district" had streets with uniform width throughout their lengths. Metro pillars actually spoilt this big time.
      Even a 2 laned road is fine as long as it is uniform. Much better than it widening to 4 lanes and squeezing back to 2 lanes.
      We have a very very corrupt and greedy government that is ruining the city plan built by British and Indian city fathers of Bombay. This has been going on since 2017, on a maaassive scale.

      Most Indian cities face bad air quality for the winter months because of the stagnant air. Air Quality starts bettering from the onset of summer to the beginning of monsoon. Monsoon months experience the cleanest air because of the winds. Summer skies are mostly blue, monsoon skies are blue and dark (when it's about to rain). Winter skies are grey.
