Sometimes I wonder what it’s like to be a idol of any sort especially kpop idol they have to work so much harder even to just be excepted. This song is dedicated to his idol self it technically explains how Jungkook wants to engrave his existence into you. Because he's unsure about himself and about who he is. So he wants to engrave himself into something so he knows his life meant something. That his existence was worth something.
He even says in the lyrics "Do you even see me?" "Do you know who I am?" He questions if what he's doing even worth it if no one is seeing the real him not the perfect idol but the unsecure real him.
