Sorry about the poor audio quality. My mic was having problems. In other news if you like this review and want to see more check out my other RV reviews: ruclips.net/video/gyD0anxYVdE/видео.html
I love this design. The fact that its a Class B with no sliders, large storage tanks and a dry bath says it would make a great boondocker, yet still be a city traveler. Thanks for another great video.
Neil, we (wife & I) wouldn't even consider a Class B until you started reviewing the Class B+'s. Really grateful that you sincerely went through the functionality issues, and, real capacity to utilize space in this class of RV. I like the attention to detail from LTV, as well as consideration and multi use of space. I was already over the "ugly" of most Class C's (2020 Navion/View excluded), but- these are almost attractive!
Love It, Neil, Spot on information, delivered with warmth and professionalism... was a Pleasure Ways guy, but now Leisure Travel !!! the Wonder Bed !!!!
I was a bit disappointed with the feel of the whole van. it felt "thin" for lack of a better word. didn't feel solidly built but I didn't report on that because I couldn't really qualify it.
This was our favorite van. It just seemed really well thought out for two people, and overall quality was evident. In addition, the Ford seating seems more comfortable and the cab features more user friendly than the Dodge ProMaster.
After seeing Dean's video of the Wonder in 2017 I just had to see it for myself. I found out LA Mesa RV was getting one for the annual RV Show in Pleasanton CA (HUGE show). I love the layout (best I've seen), I love the bed and how easy it is to manipulate bringing it down, leaving it made, and putting it up (and no slides). The drawbacks were the wood/cabinets was flimsy (not solid) and the Ford chassis. Dean was there and I learned that of all the models they make, the Wonder is the low-end, more affordable model. The quality goes up with their Unity and Serenity models - and so does the price! Great touch Neil imposing the key points/specs of the coach! Your videos just get better and better.
Yes, I was disappointed in the flimsy feel of the cabinets myself. I didn't mention it in the video (but do in the writeup) because I couldn't quite qualify it. The Unity model and Serenity didn't seem too much higher in quality. I'll have to check up on that again. I'm most disappointed in the 2 year coach warranty. tells me that LTV doesn't stand by their work.
Ultramobility, it was 2016 when I last checked out the quality of the Unity and the Serenity. I wonder (haha) if there is a website for Leisure Travel owners feedback? They do have some great design ideas and I wish they would have stayed and used them in the Class B market. Thanks again.
they used to and got out of the market in 2015 unfortunately. you can find some of their old b class vans on RUclips. just search for free spirit ss from leisure travel.
I love it...Im 95% sold....you said it a great camper....ok...Im 200 lbs...my wife is 100lbs and i need to take a set of tools for emergencies about 150 lbs....and fill the water tanks and a full tank of gas....how much weight do i have left before its unsafe......thx?
Awesome. The twin bed version is also very nice and different from anything I've seen with even more interior storage. I think Leisure Travel makes a good product. Also huge holding tanks on these Wonders plus good options like the Truma and inverter, tv sound bar, etc. I'm getting one just as soon as I win the lottery. LOL
Hi Neil, I love your videos. I watch them more than any other RV related videos out there. While it will be a while before I can purchase, your videos are helping educate me on what to look for and what to buy. The LTV Wonder Murphy Bed is in my sites as the one I want. It is spacious, functional, beautiful inside and out and the price point is so amazingly low for such a nice class B+. Please continue your awesome videos!
hey there - keep in mind that the quality is just ok. i wasn't impressed especially with it's 2 year warranty. i just want you to have all the facts - very nice design and a good price but warranty is lacking and quality will be reflected in that low warranty number.
Another great video. This was one of the vans on my list but after seeing your extensive reviews on the Pleasure Way I fell that as far as fit and quality as well as innovation Pleasure owns the Class B van market hands down. I’m sure I am not the only one who has been swayed by all your videos. It’s great to get a perspective from someone other then the manufacturer. Keep the videos coming.
many thanks Rein. I try hard to give good advice. I like the LTV Wonder. I especially like the interior design and finishes. I was less impressed with the quality unfortunately. I didn't speak too much to the quality in the video but when I consider the limited 2 year warranty combined with the "thin" feel of the cabinets and shelves I was left a bit underwhelmed unfortunately.
Neil, your hesitation to endorse the quality of the cabinetry is so important to the viewers. I agree with the viewer above that the Pleasure Way vans appear to own the quality segment of wood cabinetry in this segment, and that includes Airstream. My wife and I just looked at a $200K + Class B van and I was not impressed at all with in in comparison to the videos I have seen of the Pleasure Ways. We will be heading to Ft. Worth TX this weekend to check out in person a 2019 PW XLTD.
hey ed, the quality on the wonder was just okay. i wasn't blown away. the design and layout was great, modern and open. the cabinet doors and shelves felt light weight to me.
I'm curious as to how many dealers Pleasure Way and Leisure Travel have in the United States and how that might effect warranty work . I live in North central Wisconsin , and dealers for these brands seems scarce . How much of a problem do you think that would be ?
Do they list somewhere reputable service shops? I guess I'm looking for some qualifying spec one would use should you be out RVing and need someone. By the way I enjoy your videos, and hope to own a PW one day for my artist traveling studio (when I find a way to store my supplies in their van unit which is my challenge)
Does a three way refrigerator allow you to run the fridge off of battery power while driving? I don’t like to use the propane while driving. My fridge is a two way, electric and propane.
yep - these modern 3-way refrigerators like this one in the Wonder intelligently switch to DC powered off your chassis while you're driving. then when you stop they will automatically switch over to propane. if you hook up to shore power they will automatically switch to shore power. it's one of the best things about an automatic switching 3-way refrigerator. super easy - no fuss and they save a ton of battery power so that you have lots of power to use for other things.
Would you agree that there is a big difference in structural rigidity between a ClaasB and a ClaasC,/B+? I hated the way that my Class A shook and fexed, especially on rough roads.
absolutely. the class b+ and class c's are built on a cut-away chassis and in order to be considered a class c (or b+) the shells built by the coach manufacturers are bolted into the cut away chassis and not welded. that's my understanding. with van bodies we get a rigid anybody construction which is just much more stuff and rigid.
This is actually the only model from Leisure Travel that I am considering. Neil, I am a new subscriber of yours, and I enjoy your reviews, and trust your opinion. (Perhaps you could rehearse beforehand, off camera, how the Murphy bed operates and the over head skylight window opens, so you could demonstrate it for your viewers.) I agree with your decision that there is no need to open every single door and drawer, but demonstration of main components is very important to me as I try to absorb your knowledge of the product and your opinion of it. I am soon to retire and my wife and I are contemplating buying a Class B+ travel van, so I am in the initial stages of research. Your videos are very important to me in this regards, so I am happy to have found you and applaud your enthusiasm for Class B vans, and your calm and sophisticated style of reviewing. (So many of the other reviews on RUclips are delivered in a circus like/used car salesman manner, rushing through, opening and slamming shut every single door and drawer, with poor camera work.) My other positive first impression has been with the Pleasure Way XLMD and the XLTD. Would love to see a comparison between the two Murphy Bed models of Pleasure Way and Leisure Travel, with your side by side graphics showing standard and optional equipment. I think you have mentioned it already in another video, but when you describe the power plants and drive trains of the Mercedes and Ford engine and drive, it would be helpful to confirm if they are front wheel or rear wheel drive. I just finished watching your video on quality craftsmanship, and could not agree more with your conclusions. My wife always says I have an expensive taste, when actually I just don't like junk. Looking forward to following you.
wow Philip - a very thoughtful and helpful comment. thank you. I will keep in mind what you recommend here. great for you to know what kind of buyer you are. will save you time and money in the long run. thanks for watching my channel.
The layout of this van is absolutely stunning! It's so smart and and you'd have more than enough storage. I love it!!! Great price point too. The only thing I don't like is that it's a B+/C....so much for stealth camping also fiberglass sides worry me. If this could be squished into a regular B and maybe just one twin murphy bed for a single traveler, I'd buy it in a heart beat. It's the perfect van!
Leisure travel used to make what you describe when they were still selling class b vans. it was called the free spirit ss. it had a slide out with a murphy bed. look for it on RUclips! thanks for the comment Lisa!
Neil, I've really enjoyed your videos...and the 360's too! Finally got a RUclips acct and subscribed :) Started the search for the perfect Class B/B+ in 2013 for a planned retirement with my partner in 2022. What is new now, is what we will buying used. You're right, it's and exciting time for the Class B/B+ market with many new models on the way! I've toured a Wonder...I have to agree about the cabinets...a little flimsy and ikea-esque construction with plastic caps covering the connection points. LTV generally does a great job, but a little too highly priced IMHO. The Wonder FTB I saw in Pleasanton had an yellow OCCC sticker of 1800 lbs,. I had to look twice and Dean confirmed it, so they have really trimmed the weight down, at least on the Wonder FTB. Looking forward to your coming Wonder reviews...a lot of folks like us cross-shop B's and B+'/compact C's so I appreciate you branching out!! - Dave
thanks Dave! and thanks for subscribing and watching. what I worry about with LTV and those OCCC numbers is where are they cutting the weight from? certainly the cabinets on the wonder felt a little thin.
Neil, how would you rate Leisure Vans vs Pleasure Way in the area of engineering and manufacturing quality? It's relatively easy to develop an opinion about features and design, but it is more difficult to know the quality under the skin; in the infrastructure of the coach, e.g., plumbing, electrical, etc.
Many comments on the 1000w inverter... but is there a possibility to just install a third party inverter. Lets say a Renogy 3000w inverter or something?
Excellent use of graphics in the video. The graphics nicely highlight the key takeaways. Liked the superimposing of the image on the medicine cabinet doors @ 9:20. For a quick second, I thought I had consumed a 'magic mushroom' in my lunch salad. [;\)
lol. I'm really glad you noticed and appreciate when I do those little touches. i love doing them and figure they add useful information while making the video interesting to watch.
While Neil does a great job no one, I mean no one can show a Leisure Travel product like Dean their CEO. Watch him show you how a Wonder MB works!!! ruclips.net/video/iZzbccL2gHw/видео.html
Just a comment to those considering buying a class B, do as much research on the dealer as the manufacturer. My dealer had very mixed reviews and I decided to go ahead with the purchase of a new Roadtrek Simplicity. It turned out to be the biggest mistake I ever made. Once the contract was signed they could not care less about their customer. Zero communication and delay after delay. Then the blame game between the factory and the dealer. It turned out to be a nightmare and 3 months later, in utter frustration I cancelled my order. So now back to square one and the summer plans are shot. So please do a thorough check on your dealer before signing anything.
wow. so sorry to hear about your experience Marc. It's a good point thought: you need to make sure that the dealer you purchase from has a good service department. the warranty is only as good as the dealer's service dept. thanks for sharing your experience.
I'm going to see if the dealers will let me test drive in the future. I've been waiting because I haven't had enough subscribers to make it interesting for them but now I do. The Wonder's GVWR is 10,360 lbs. here are the chassis specs: Chassis - Ford Transit 350 HD Cab w/ 3.2L I-5 Turbo Diesel 185HP/350ft-lb w/ 6-speed Automatic Transmission
I don't know whether it interests you or is at all relevant for you, but in Europe, there is a cap at 3500 kg ( 7715 lbs). This is due to the drivers' license. If you go above, you need a small truck permit. Most of the RVs are 2 litre 4 cylinder diesels. This has a lot to do with fuel costing 6 dollars a gallon (US).
daseteam that's really interesting but it makes sense from a safety perspective. driving one of these huge motor homes around can be dangerous to you and others. in the U.S. it would be hard to offer all the comforts that Americans expect for the 7715lbs limit. Things like rooftop AC and on board generators and huge permanent propane tanks are weighty and we end up needing a higher gvwr unfortunately. thanks for sharing!
Nice review! Technically, the Wonder is not a campervan but is a compact Class C motorhome. The MSRP without options is about $120K but a fair haggle should get you in one for mid 80s to 90s. One valuable but unmentioned feature is the fact that EVERY water outlet has an adjacent water pump switch (one in the control cluster above the door, one in the bathroom, and one in the utility center outside). It has a 13 gal propane tank and must-have options include up to 400W of solar and a propane generator. There are several minor changes in the 2019 Wonder models -- mainly elimination of the darker wood options and the lighter ultraleather colors. I'm a bit surprised that you didn't demonstrate the Murphy bed, but an excellent overview regardless. I hope you'll review the Wonder FTB and the Fuse 23A soon (perhaps a comparison video? The Fuse has more belted seating, more sleeping positions, and offers heated tanks as an option, but the Wonder looks MUCH better, has more exterior storage and that clever swing-out table, and has no slide-out to cause problems).
thank you much. you're right on the bed. i didn't operate it. often times I don't and just show a picture of it down - i guess i should do it. lots of good info in your comment. this wonder that I reviewed has the 400w of solar but surprisingly only has a 1000w inverter which means you can't run the microwave off the batteries. have to be plugged in or run the genny which is disappointing. you're right about the water pump switch and that is a great feature that they do. many class A's do this as well. good points all around.
You may already have this on your list of ideas for future videos, but a broad overview of the OCCC differences between Class B, B+ and C would be useful. Another angle might be to compare the modern vans (Sprinter, Transit, ProMaster) vs the older van chassis (Ford E-series and GMC/Chevy). Sadly, regardless of GVWR (anywhere from 8,500 lbs to 14,500 lbs), it seems nearly all RV makers end up with practically unusable OCCCs. It would be great if you could focus on the exceptions, but I think you'd have a much harder time finding units to review in future. 😏
I saw this exact model at our local Airstream Dealer, and because I saw this video I pointed out some of the negatives and the Salesperson was surprised at my eye for details.... There was no comparison between the 27 and 25 foot Trailers, they won hands down in brightness from light coming in from their many windows and for how much roomier they felt compared to the Motorhomes. I am keeping an open mind until I see a Pleasureway in person, but now I’m also looking at Trucks that can easily tow 10K. The Ford F-150 even features a back up assistance package that almost parks itself! Dave
Dave, glad my videos helped you in your search. I'm glad that dealers are hearing from customers. maybe some of this will make it back to airstream via their dealers.
no quite the opposite. there's nothing unusual about it. just lower the bed like any other murphy bed. I didn't think it was something that needed to be demonstrated but apparently I was wrong since so many people are noted that I didn't actually do it.
Wayne, read this online at rvlife: Received a reply from Leisure Travel on the prototype Wonder’s carrying capacity (under 1000 lbs fully optioned). That’s too bad considering the fantastic design which also includes a lot of storage, which will be hard to use with such a small carrying capacity. If that's the case then it is too bad...
High Neil. Great Video. I am looking at the LTV Wonder Rear Twin Bed Model w/ the Bike Cargo area (incredible storage). Will you be doing a video on that one as well? Do you or anyone out there have any thoughts/opinions or reviews on the Mercedes Sprinter engine/chassis vs. the Ford? We are not pulling anything but thinking through longevity and output of both for comparison purposes. If so just wondering about the pros and cons before we make our final decision. Pleasure Way and the LTV Wonder are the (2) we are comparing and deciding on. Thanks !!
I really like the use of Murphy beds in campervans it’s such a great use of space. Ideally you want a comfortable place to sit during the day and a comfortable place to sleep at night and with this sort of design you get the best of each. I thought this van was nice but if I’m comparing it the PW XLMB it’s not even close. And the XLMB is two feet shorter. I’m still in awe of the XLMB. Ohhh that would make an excellent head to head! 😀
Still waiting for the the unity TB or IB review. We own a 2016 Plateau TS and love it ! Very interested in the Unity's ducted roof air for less noise and stabilizer bars when parked for less rock & roll
hi Gordon. I'm working on the edit of the Unity IB now. Not sure when I will release it. I've got the Zion and the Airstream Interstate Grand Tour coming up. The Unity is right behind those.
enjoyed your video but have to vote with the Murphy bed comments. crucial to understand its function. also would have like to hear more about the exterior and power train. did I miss those?
i'm so glad you reviewed this. I have been drawn to this one and asked them if they could also do it 4x4 with a quigley or ujoint adaptation. I am waiting for their response. You do wonderful reviews.
very nice review I'm not a big fan of the Murphy bed but that one looks good the good part is that it got 3 years warranty not 1 good job interviews looking forward for more reviews
Hey Neil, because this is not a Mercedes Engine does this model feature some safety amenities? Lane drifting, and blind spot awareness for the driver? Does Pleasureway RV’s feature drivers seat massagers with heat? How about heated floorings for Pleasureway? Thanks, Dave PS- I’m viewing all the adds before your videos and encourage others to do the same!
lol you are too kind to suffer through all the ads. The wonder is on the Ford Transit gas engine. The Ford only has lane keep assist with driver alert and that's it. PW does not have heated floors nor does it have front cab seat which are heated nor with massage unfortunately.
They have a winner with their wonder. Especially the twin bed. But the small inverter and fact its not 4 seasons is a turn off. Also the fact you cant run your microwave is a big minus. Also they can do better on quality of cabinets but I really this is a entry model. Also compressor ridge would be nice. This rig was third on the list after the Travato and legend my Midwest. Just brought our rv couple days ago but been wondering if we should purchased this one because of space and storage. But is has couple big drawbacks for someone that plans to full-time. If they can lower the price some and add a couple of features they would sell like crazy. The outside design and all the storage cant be beat. Very Sleek
Nice review Neil. LTV does a nice job with design and décor. But I have some concerns with the Wonder (I am not sure if this applies to all LTV's or just the Wonder) as we would be living in our next RV while we travel the country. My question; is the 1000 LBS OCC a problem for our use, is that weight applied after full tanks? Also, is the 1000w inverter a deal breaker for lengthy boondocking?
you'd need to subtract out the full water tank from the occc which is 272lbs (8lbs per gallon times 34 gallons) that leaves 728lbs for passengers and cargo. subtract out your weight plus your companion say 300lbs that leaves 428lbs for cargo. is that enough? you'd need to decide. i think 1000w inverter is too little. you can't run your microwave off that if you're parking stealth or boondocking.
Thanks This really is a very nice looking well made, and high quality van . My only complaint is that it is a Ford transit. Not a fan of those more impressed by the Sprinter and all the features from them . But still most will be extremely satisfied with this van on all the rest of its merits.
This Wonder MB has clean lines if a little bland but with a few personal touches like plants and colorful enhancements would make it sharp.. otherwise it has a spacious interior and you appear very comfortable in it. Too bad you didn't pull out/down the MB..next time.:) I am not crazy about the entertainment space though,, you would have to remove everything from that counter in order to watch TV.. a bit of an inconvenience don't you think? Correct me if I'm wrong but 111k is the base price for this coach and there are at least 3 other options in decor choices,, such as Cabinetry colors, upholstery, seating arrangements,, and a ton of roof options like Solar panels, wineguard , WiFi, rain censored fan vents that will increase the price up to 135k plus. LVT does a wonderful job on spraying the underbelly of there models to protect tanks and reduce noise level. Nice touch. I have noticed that the 2018-19 Texas based "Regency" coach resembles the LVT models quite a bit. Were you able to check one out when you were viewing the Xalta? I'm looking forward to your impression of the LVT Unity FX model. XD
hi there - I need to get better with these reviews. I'm learning what people want to see. $111k included 400w of solar, upgrading dinette seating, fan upgrade (rain sensor), macerator, folding ottoman, surge protector, truma aquago, wifi extender, generator. those are all upgrade options.
Good Morning Neil...may I call you Neil? You are doing a marvelous job with your reviews of the RV Models.:) You're informing the public with valuable information that is not coming from a biased source whom is being paid for their tutorial..you are performing this service without monetary gain,, and that is so cool in my book.. If you feel that you are missing points of interest,, make yourself a standard check list,, then when you find an RV model that has unique or a different quality about it,, then add those points to your standard check list... such as.. for instance.. what you stated above is most helpful and useful and should be included as standard info. Showing the undercarriage of the coach or popping the hood and show the engine,, outside storage. The exhaust pipe is also very important.. especially if it extends under a window that opens. Bounce on a cushion a few times for comfort-ability and the strength to keep it's shape and not have a permanent indent molded to a persons backside. hahahaha Take the Microwave plate out and put it in the cubbards,, if it fits,, so will your plates. There are little things that could litterly or figuratively.. make-or-brake interests in an RV model,, no matter the size, make or brand. I love this stuff and admire what you are doing. If I can be of any assistance,, please don't hesitate to ask. Btw..did you mention your parents have a class A also,, that is so awesome!! Happy Trails. XD
Lynne I LOVE all these suggestions! I am making a checklist and will incorporate these suggestions. I am trying really hard to create videos that are honest, truthful, unbiased and most importantly NOT SPONSORED. I actually listened to a couple on another channel recently during their Live Stream answer a question from a viewer if they were sponsored. They were IN THE VAN GIVEN TO THEM by the sponsor and said flat out "No, our RUclips channel is not sponsored but our Podcast is". What kind of answer is this? Podcasts aren't sponsored, people are! Of course they are sponsored. I just don't understand why folks cannot simply state plainly and up front that they are sponsored? Why are they hiding it? It's just so unfortunate. People have a right to know if a channel is sponsored with something like a $150k RV. It's important when that channel reviews other competitor's models and it's important when they "give you advice". I can guarantee you that advice is being influenced by the sponsor. I'm on about this because we live in a world where information and truth are flexible. It's unfortunate. We should all have the common decency to be up front and honest with each other. Especially on social media. Okay, RANT OVER. Thank you so much for appreciating what I do. Many thanks.
Hahahahaha,,, Your Rant was spot on and well delivered. Honesty and Integrity are admirable qualities,,, but not everyone posses them. We... consider it a standard of Intelligence,,, that most do not incorporate when dealing with the public at large. I guess we are viewed as too nimble minded to grasp the concept of what is correct/ incorrect,,proper/improper, truth /deceit...When one is being gifted as payment, yet stating that they chose this model of their own accord without monetary gain in any way shape or form,, is a flat out lie and should be called on it. The shame falls on their shoulders,, not the sponsor's (they are covered by free publicity) nor the public's. With this channel,, you make it an open platform/ discussion on what is pertinent/relevant regarding the RV model in question. You also look to your viewers for their impressions, advice and critiquing. Sure,, there could be some tweaking in places,, but that is what gives your reviews such depth. In another words,, you wouldn't be able to perform your duties without us or our feedback.:) Like me,, I couldn't perform my duties without the Architect, Electricians, Plumbers, Windows & Furniture Manufacturers along with Horticulturalist. We all work together as a team and that is what you invite in with your friendly personality,, yet eye for quality.. along with keeping it fresh, honest, and to the point. P.s.... there is a seat in the bathroom that folds down over the commode to either sit on & apply makeup,, or hide when Pocket door is open,, so it is not the first thing you see upon entering the coach and looking left..XD
I like your video. Probably one of the most practical uses of the 360 camera. Just a few things. I'd like it even more if you had better audio, and sometimes a normal wide angle not from a 360 camera would be nice. I'm nitpicking because I want your channel to grow bigger. Thanks for awesome content.
Chris, i love that you care enough to send me your feedback. i never take feedback like this personally. in fact, most of the reasons why my videos have improved is because of people like yourself who have taken the time to comment and let me know how i can improve them. i apologize for the audio in this (and my upcoming videos) i spent an entire day videoing and when i got back and reviewed all the audio from my microphone was garbled. i normally use a nice mic and my past videos have much better audio. i decided to move ahead with the cameras audio because i couldn't reshoot. i hope it doesn't turn too many people off. i think your idea of using a normal camera is also a great idea. i will try to figure out how to do that. keep in mind that the next 9-10 videos have already been shot unfortunately so i will have this figured out for the next batch. thanks for watching and your understanding as i grow my channel!
This is my absolute dream coach! I saw a video of it a few months ago and fell in love with it. Unfortunately, my wallet is not so infatuated. Way out of my price range...but a girl can dream right? Thanks for the inside look!
definitely the dry bath. Having elbow room in the shower and the thought that I wouldn't have to wipe down the entire shower, toilet, walls after a shower would be so great. I also love that the bed simply flips down and you don't have to make it up every day. Of course I love the quality of PW, but a dry bath is a dream in a small coach.
check out the PW plateau XLMB which is basically the same layout but a much nicer fit and finish. bath is full corian and not plastic and the xlmb clocks in at 3 feet shorter than the wonder.
yup.. if I could put the PW XLMB on a gas chassis, and maybe win the lotto, it would be the absolute perfect home for me. Alas... lost my job 5 wks ago, putting my house on the market in 3 wks. In my dream world I would take the money and just buy what I want, but I'm a realist. Gotta stash a bunch for that sticks 'n bricks(condo) that I know I will need when I'm too old to be wandering aimlessly around the country...lol.
maybe i didn't put it in... sorry about that. i did with the atlas but the wonder was before i started trying to find all this information. part of the problem is that the manufacturers (some) don't make it easy to find out the number. likely because they know it isn't a selling point.
unfortunately you can't calculate it. only they know the weight of everything that they added to the chassis. they are required by law to put the occc on the inside door panel so I'm going to have to look at that when i tour and review these vans since the manufacturers are not being forward enough with buyers.
Food prep? No area for food prep. A square or rectangular sink mounted close to the left kitchen wall would allow a little bit of area for food prep. And the coffee maker. Where ya gonna put it? Another idea for food prep... turn the stove burners 90 degrees and move the unit to the right. That would free up some much needed kitchen counter space.
Did you get a sense of how well-constructed the coach portion was ? What's underneath that nice looking laminate on the cabinets ? Good quality plywood, or MDF ? Get a sense of how the cabinets were put together ? (screws ? staples ?). My favorite part of any LTV is the design. Like you said, it's very well thought out, with a modern feel (compare and contrast to that Regency you reviewed recently ;) The drawbacks for me is their somewhat out-dated tech, like that 1000W inverter.
yeah i didn't get a chance on this review to check for staples unfortunately. the cabinets didn't feel solid. they felt a bit flimsy. wasn't happy with the puny 1000w inverter. can't even run your microwave off the batteries.
Great job as always Neal! Love this B+!!! LT is close, if not comparable fit/finish as the PW vans. If length weren’t an issue this would be a no brained for sure! Btw, did you happen to check if the wiring and control panels are similar to PW?
I did see her review. I didn't say so in this review but I do in the write up - the feel of the wonder was "thin". I don't know how to explain it. the cabinet doors and shelves did not feel substantial or solid as compared to say the PW Plateau XL series. I didn't report on it in the video because I couldn't qualify it.
Thanks for the plug on Creativity RV Channel! That video confirmed that we are doing the right thing....looking for used, even if it takes us a little longer to find, they are out there. It is our hope that after a couple years most of the bugs have been worked out! I think you drop about 10K when you drive out of the lot.
The Wonder looks like it is the entry level RV for LTV, and therefore does not have the same finish as their other two models . What appeals to me about the Wonder is the fact it is not a Mercedes because if you are traveling in Canada , outside of the major cities, you will be hard pressed to find some place to service it if there is an issue.
hi Dale, it is definitely lower quality but you're correct in that the price is also lower. still for the same price, the Lexor for PW feels much higher quality which indicates to me that manufacturers can hit lower price points and keep the quality levels higher.
I agree but, the Wonder is a diesel and the Lexor is gas. As we both know diesels are more expensive. I thought the Wonder also has a lower carrying capacity vs LTV MB RV’s.
I see LTV recently introduced the Wonder in a rear twin bed set up. If you check it out you will notice they have done some upgrades including multiplex wiring and a garage.
This is my favorite, even Pleasure-Ways MB isn't as comfortable or inviting as this unit. I love the way it has no slide-out! The layout and decor of this unit just calls to me. I promised myself that I would look at and test all of the rigs before I chose my new one but I almost dumped that plan when I get into the Wonder MB! Once again, you've done a great job, thanks!
Hey Bill, sorry for the delay, out in the wilds of Nevada and the cell signal was bad. Anyway, my all-time personal favorite has to be the Leisure Travel Unity CB. For, me it has the best layout and functionality. While I don't normally like a single-function bed this unit has a hidden duality in the bed has storage and also your fresh water tank under the mattress! I also like the dinette for my work area. Thanks for asking!
I usually enjoy and appreciate your reviews. But I don't like it when you guess at features. How much more additional prep time would it take to ask the supplying dealer a couple of questions? You could own this RUclips review space if you were to make the additional efforts to more comprehensive in your presentations.
Hi Neil, Thanks again for the great review. One question - I thought LV had a 2 year warranty based on your Warranty Video but in this video you posted 3 years. thanks again for all the great insight.
yes my mistake. LTV has a 2 year basic limited warranty and a 3 year structural warranty. i didn't catch this error until after I had published unfortunately. so consider that 3 year in the video the structural warranty ;-)
I just watched your video on this and then watched Dean’s. I was struck by how low the kitchen counters were on his video. Did you notice that on your tour? Either Dean is either freakishly long-legged, which I don’t suspect, or the kitchen is very low.
nope. I'm a bad boy. I generally don't pull down beds and such in my reviews. i'm starting to show pictures now in the video with the beds down. i'll see if that appeases you all! if not, I'll have to pull them down I guess...
What's unique about this MB, is that you don't have to lower any table, remove any arm rests or lower a couch or chairs. The seating area and integrated table all lower with the MB as you pull it down. The only thing, other than pulling the MB down, you have to do, is pull out the leg support at the top of the MB. The arm rests are designed for the MB to drop in between them. That's an extremely simple MB to set up IMO compared to others.
I'd be interested to know your thoughts on how it compares to a PW XL. Ive read several times that leisure travel and PW are excellent with build quality. Seems to be a more logical and less luxurious coach, but it's also $50k less than the XLMB. Really enjoy where you've taken this channel.
Andrew, i love the interior design of the LTV Wonder but the build quality on the PW is light years ahead in my opinion to the Wonder. There was something flimsy about the cabinet doors and shelves in the Wonder. I love the design of the XLMB from PW and the bathroom is much higher end then the Wonder. Just my 2 cents. I think this bears out as well with regards to their warranties: PW 5 years and LTV 2 years.
Ultramobility so your saying the PW is much more higher end class b? Also are there any class b’s that are four seasons or are all just 2 or 3 seasons i want something to use in the winter time and not worry about freezing pipes and tanks.....any suggestions or maybe you could do or have a video on the seasons of class b’s and help educate all the grasshoppers out here like you have so wonderfully done for us every day!!!!! Thanks so much for all you do its super great!!!!
Bill, the PW is higher build quality for sure than this model of the Wonder that I reviewed. There are class B's that are more capable of 4 season. no coach manufacturer yet advertises their class B as truly 4 season capable. the problems of cold weather usage are complex and including interior plumbing solves only some of the problems. interior water lines that run too close to the walls for example can still freeze so there has to be heating behind walls etc. also lithium batteries need to be heated properly above freezing in order to be charged. things like this that no coach manufacturer has completely solved yet. Winnebago gets close or you can custom order one from Sportsmobile, Outside Van or Advanced RV and have it done correctly as a 4-season. I just use my normal Ascent in the winter and don't use the sinks. I can use that toilet and everything else just fine.
Ultramobility Neil Thanks so much so when i hear the words customer order or special i feel my wallet puckering along with other body parts :) So are these others you mentioned using a winnabago as a starting point or are they separate manufacturers? I want 4 season but want the Murphy bed in a small size van like vehicle.......hmmm i guess if i build that they will come as they say right? But since i cant does anyone come close to my custom wishlist or am i just 3 seasons away from a 4 season solution? Thanks again
hi Lucy will try to include that in the future. I've been hesitant in the past because I have been sneaking onto dealer lots to do these shots but recently the dealers have been more willing to work with me.
Hi Neil, Thank you for reviewing Leisure Travel. We have been awaiting your input as we are equally impressed by their quality and design. We are leaning very strongly towards the Unity TB. We really love the Pleasure Way Plateau FL, but a little tight for one of us who is over 6 feet, and we are going full-time for an extended period. By any chance, would you be able to review a Unity TB? We want the Mercedes Chassis and the extra passenger capability. However, we are not thrilled that the extra passenger seats are not outfitted with a 3-point seatbelt. Not sure why they would skip out on that feature as a lot of the extra passengers would be children. Happy Trails!
hi there - i have a review of the unity coming out but i think it is the island bed? i couldn't find a TB but I'll keep looking. did you guys look at the PW Plateau XLTD? it has twin beds as well and comes in at 3 feet short (22 feet vs. 25 feet).
Yes, the TB is very popular I think because of its flexible bed layout. We thought of the corner bed but we don't want to crawl over each other to get up. I don't think we have looked at the PW Plateau XLTD, could be wrong as we have looked at so many. There are few and far between PW's in the Northeast. We have considered going up to the Canada dealer over the border.... 1,000 Island RV Center in Gananoque, ON. Thanks for your quick response!!
Love the Ford Platform & diesel, also the dash & steering wheel. I own a F-150 and my wife owns a 2017 Mercedes G-Wagon. So we love both auto manufacturers. You make many great points but that Galley is awesome. The pricing is absolutely awesome! Perhaps not a diesel? What’s nice about a Ford Diesel no matter where you are in the country or in Canada servicing is everywhere!
Great video Neil. I had just watched another video about the Wonder Murphy Bed last night. The one in the video I watched had recliners in the lounge area. I'm guessing those are an upgrade option. I am curious about a few things when it comes to the Wonder. Are the cabinets stapled or screwed together? How large is the solar/battery system? How much external storage is there? Over all this unit could be a contender with the PW Plateau XLMB on my short list.
hey Chris - i put in the specs about the solar, inverter tank sizes and external storage as popups in the video if you review and take a look. solar is optional. this wonder had 300w i think but only a 1000w inverter. in think the wonder has 38cf of exterior storage. it is 3 feet longer at 25 feet than the plateau xlmb. i couldn't tell if the cabinets we're stapled unfortunately. i didn't see angle brackets and i can say that the cabinet doors and shelves felt "think" as in not substantial.
Erm, hi. The standard short form of the word 'refrigerator' is generally 'FRIDGE'... Your question, "WHY would I want a 3-way frig?" is kinda... suggestive... I mean, who wouldn't? 😉😂
Very nice van, but too large for me. A class B is all about mobilty, agility, and stealth. At 25 feet, the Wonder may be too long for most parking spaces and more difficult in city traffic. If you have to have a tow vehicle, then it defeats the whole purpose of a class B.
yep it's the biggest problem with the Wonder. The Plateau XL series is 3 feet shorter but honestly it didn't feel much smaller at all but that 3 feet is a huge difference when it comes to finding parking.
Why would you think a Ford chassis is better than a Mercedes? And do you do notice the squeaking hinges? This unit looks more utilitarian than comfortable. I usually agree with your commentaries but not on this.
86 the Murphy bed,...no one wants to flip their bed up and down every day...especially when you are dead tired and just want to collapse onto an all ready to go bed...... keep the larger, 42" TV with two recliners, then put the bed in the absolute best spot. The BACK of the van, like the model with the island bed already back there. Add a door separating the bedroom from the rest of the quarters to further reduce outside noise. Couple that with this one's entertainment area and layout , and now you've got a winner (don't know if it would still come in under 24 or 25' though.) Other improvements - raise the chassis. The thing sits too low to take to some off road places and it should be able do that for the kind of coin you are asking for it. And along those lines, make the suspension more rugged. Additionally, give us a 60 gallon water tanks instead of the measly current 30.....Boost solar power to 1000 watt total from the roof mounted solar panels.Figure out a way to make that happen...power is gold when dry camping. Add insulation thruout to keep the thing cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter AND more soundproof. Install a retractable partition separating the front cab from living area. Add pull-down or pull-up or pull left to right or vice versa 'sun deflectors' that retract into the chassis and that also simultaneously blackout all windows for stealth camping and keep hot air out in the summer and warm air in , in the winter.....Reports are these things cannot fully cool in the heat of the day of a typical hot summer. Turbo-charge your air-conditioners. Make them MUCH cooler, LESS noisey. Give us FOUR living quarter batteries instead of two. Put a 12" , adjustable wall-mounted fan in the bedroom for some white noise to sleep by and additional cooling.
Sorry about the poor audio quality. My mic was having problems. In other news if you like this review and want to see more check out my other RV reviews: ruclips.net/video/gyD0anxYVdE/видео.html
Amazing to get all that in a transit! The dry bath is wow! And love the Murphy bed. Color scheme is lovely!
it's very pretty inside isn't it Lisa? I like the fresh, modern and light look myself.
This one is by far my favorite design I've seen. Will BOLO for a used one - going on the list!
Neil, glad you are breaking out to the C class vans (B+) on your channel. You will definitely pick up some more subscribers now!
I'm getting there Jay! Next stop Class C's!
Then I'm already waiting in line for my all-time Class C favorite the Winnebago Navion/View!!! I owned and drove one of these puppies for years!
I love this design. The fact that its a Class B with no sliders, large storage tanks and a dry bath says it would make a great boondocker, yet still be a city traveler. Thanks for another great video.
it's a very nice design isn't it? open, airy, modern, fresh. I like the smartness of the design - like a little apartment on wheels.
Love the Murphy bed/no slide out/Ford Diesel combo!
I like your all videos. Love from India. Your videos are well versed and you have a great power of expression and explanation.
very kind of our Harish. Thank you so much for watching all the way from India!
Love It, Neil, Spot on information, delivered with warmth and professionalism... was a Pleasure Ways guy, but now Leisure Travel !!! the Wonder Bed !!!!
Greg, thank you very much for your kind words! glad you like the Wonder!
Can’t beat the beauty of the finishes on ltv.
I was a bit disappointed with the feel of the whole van. it felt "thin" for lack of a better word. didn't feel solidly built but I didn't report on that because I couldn't really qualify it.
This was our favorite van. It just seemed really well thought out for two people, and overall quality was evident. In addition, the Ford seating seems more comfortable and the cab features more user friendly than the Dodge ProMaster.
glad you liked it Stuart!
Actually it was early 2016 not 2017 I first saw the video...
Wow, that is nice. Wish they would make a slightly smaller, true Class B though... It is just a big big for me.
they used to and got out of the market in 2015 unfortunately. you can find some of their old b class vans on RUclips. just search for free spirit ss from leisure travel.
Right there with you! A true class B with similar layout for the single traveler.
I love it...Im 95% sold....you said it a great camper....ok...Im 200 lbs...my wife is 100lbs and i need to take a set of tools for emergencies about 150 lbs....and fill the water tanks and a full tank of gas....how much weight do i have left before its unsafe......thx?
😍 I think I found my RV 👏🏼 thanks for another great review
LOL
i love their interior designs as well. very fresh and modern feeling. thanks for your comment.
Please continue your awesome videos!
wow that's a nice compliment Magic Journey! thank you very much. I love LTV as well. I especially enjoy their forward thinking designs.
this is No.1 in my list, for the quality/price/easy service
hey there - keep in mind that the quality is just ok. i wasn't impressed especially with it's 2 year warranty. i just want you to have all the facts - very nice design and a good price but warranty is lacking and quality will be reflected in that low warranty number.
Any flip up extension tables? Would have liked to have seen the outside. Gas or diesel?
no flip up extension tables. will start to show static shots of the outside moving forward. this is a diesel.
Thank you for all your great videos!
Karen, thank you for watching!
Worth TX this weekend to check out in person a 2019 PW XLTD.
very good work today Neil. I really like the LTV quality and styling. The Serenity is my favorite.
hey ed, the quality on the wonder was just okay. i wasn't blown away. the design and layout was great, modern and open. the cabinet doors and shelves felt light weight to me.
I'm curious as to how many dealers Pleasure Way and Leisure Travel have in the United States and how that might effect warranty work . I live in North central Wisconsin , and dealers for these brands seems scarce . How much of a problem do you think that would be ?
I'm not sure about LTV but PW allows you to use any reputable service shop whether or not they are a PW dealer. this helps a lot.
Ultramobility Thanks .
That would be really nice. I hope to have a class B some day. Thanks for all the great videos 👍👍.
thanks for watching swamp dawg!
Neal-have you reviewed, singly or comparitively, a Winnebago Navion model 24 D floor plan; it's B+ or C- ?
The wonder is pretty cool.i like the twin bed model
Ruth I have a review of the island bed coming up soon as well.
OMG, I actually call leisure about this one.. so nice 👍🏽.. awesome review btw
you like it eh?
Ultramobility omg yes, u have no idea 😁
Craig what are your thought on the Pleasureway Plateau XLMB? just curious.
Ultramobility I like that one too. It’s a beautiful coach as well. Mercedes chassis is expensive.. plus I know about Fords.. i
Neil, I've really enjoyed your videos...and the 360's too!
It's relatively easy to develop an opinion about features and design, but it is more difficult to know the quality under the skin; in the infrastructure of the coach, e.g., plumbing, electrical, etc.
just average
Many comments on the 1000w inverter... but is there a possibility to just install a third party inverter. Lets say a Renogy 3000w inverter or something?
yes of course. just have to cover the cost yourself and see how it affects the warranty.
Ultramobility very true
Excellent use of graphics in the video. The graphics nicely highlight the key takeaways. Liked the superimposing of the image on the medicine cabinet doors @ 9:20. For a quick second, I thought I had consumed a 'magic mushroom' in my lunch salad. [;\)
lol. I'm really glad you noticed and appreciate when I do those little touches. i love doing them and figure they add useful information while making the video interesting to watch.
they are also in the 360 degree version as well.
Is the cabinet construction high quality and solid in the Wonder line?
i wouldn't say it is high quality. it feels thin and light.
what about showing the actual bed?
hi Steven. yep I should have done that. my mistake.
While Neil does a great job no one, I mean no one can show a Leisure Travel product like Dean their CEO. Watch him show you how a Wonder MB works!!!
ruclips.net/video/iZzbccL2gHw/видео.html
Can you show the wonder FTB, maybe show both FTB and RTB.
Will try to review both in upcoming reviews.
When you only see a two bay service department and rv's outside with spiderwebs all over the tires and inch of dust you better run.
Was it my imagination or were the holding tanks larger than others, such as the Mercedes platforms?
yep these holding tanks on class B+ (nee class C) rigs are generally larger than the van chassis.
Thanks, Neil. It would be nice to hear the weight and how it drives. What engines does the Transit have in North America?
Neil, Do the Leisure Travel Vans come with a spare tire? If so, where is it kept?
not sure sally. I think so under the carriage but the trend is to move to the tire inflator repair kit.
@@Ultramobility Thanks, Neil. Enjoy your videos -- interesting and well done.
Thank you, Neil!
logged. great idea for an episode!
Love this but darn the prices are not in the budget! Would love one ❤
I totally agree!
Cannot believe u didn't show the bed down. Why? Is something odd about it?
no quite the opposite. there's nothing unusual about it. just lower the bed like any other murphy bed. I didn't think it was something that needed to be demonstrated but apparently I was wrong since so many people are noted that I didn't actually do it.
Well done, thanks Neil. Any idea what the OCCC is for that van? My concern with some of these B+ vans is over building the chassis.
What am I missing? How is a travato being sold at a similar street price to this?
you get a lot more with the Serenity don't you?
Thanks !!
yes I will!
Wouldn’t it indeed 🤫
They both are nice design. The PW MB is about $150k, almost 45% higher than the LTV Wonder. No comparison in quality
Agree Ben. Neil need to put together a direct comparison between the 2019 Murphy Bed models of the PW and LTV.
Thanks for the review!
you're very welcome! thank you for watching!
enjoyed your video but have to vote with the Murphy bed comments. crucial to understand its function. also would have like to hear more about the exterior and power train. did I miss those?
nope, I need to listen to viewers and change the way I review.
Do you think the quality is worth the 2 year warranty?
yes the quality matches the 2 year warranty if you know what I mean.
i'm so glad you reviewed this. I have been drawn to this one and asked them if they could also do it 4x4 with a quigley or ujoint adaptation. I am waiting for their response. You do wonderful reviews.
many thanks Teryl! I really appreciate it.
very nice review I'm not a big fan of the Murphy bed but that one looks good the good part is that it got 3 years warranty not 1 good job interviews looking forward for more reviews
my mistake on the warranty - the structural warranty is 3 years but the basic coach warranty is only 2 years unfortunately. thank you for watching!
Hey Neil, because this is not a Mercedes Engine does this model feature some safety amenities?
Lane drifting, and blind spot awareness for the driver? Does Pleasureway RV’s feature drivers seat massagers with heat?
How about heated floorings for Pleasureway?
Thanks,
Dave
PS-
I’m viewing all the adds before your videos and encourage others to do the same!
lol you are too kind to suffer through all the ads. The wonder is on the Ford Transit gas engine. The Ford only has lane keep assist with driver alert and that's it. PW does not have heated floors nor does it have front cab seat which are heated nor with massage unfortunately.
Ultramobility pick up the phone Neil and ask Dean for heated driver seats for a nice upgrade! Guess all he could say would be, “No”.
Sorry, the Transit for the Wonder is a diesel engine.
Very Sleek
did you take delivery of your Travato? how do you like it? very interested in hearing from you as you get settled into it.
Actually went with the Midwest Automotive legend. Will get it in next 2 weeks. Will give updates.
Thanks
This really is a very nice looking well made, and high quality van . My only complaint is that it is a Ford transit. Not a fan of those more impressed by the Sprinter and all the features from them . But still most will be extremely satisfied with this van on all the rest of its merits.
I have a review of the unity coming out shortly which is similar but built on the sprinter chassis.
Bounce on a cushion a few times for comfort-ability and the strength to keep it's shape and not have a permanent indent molded to a persons backside. hahahaha
Take the Microwave plate out and put it in the cubbards,, if it fits,, so will your plates.
In another words,, you wouldn't be able to perform your duties without us or our feedback.:)
Like me,, I couldn't perform my duties without the Architect, Electricians, Plumbers, Windows & Furniture Manufacturers along with Horticulturalist.
Love it!!!
Chris, i love that you care enough to send me your feedback. i never take feedback like this personally. in fact, most of the reasons why my videos have improved is because of people like yourself who have taken the time to comment and let me know how i can improve them. i apologize for the audio in this (and my upcoming videos) i spent an entire day videoing and when i got back and reviewed all the audio from my microphone was garbled. i normally use a nice mic and my past videos have much better audio. i decided to move ahead with the cameras audio because i couldn't reshoot. i hope it doesn't turn too many people off. i think your idea of using a normal camera is also a great idea. i will try to figure out how to do that. keep in mind that the next 9-10 videos have already been shot unfortunately so i will have this figured out for the next batch. thanks for watching and your understanding as i grow my channel!
oh if you think it is a big enough problem that I should reshoot the 9-10 videos please speak up! i will do so if viewers feel that's what best!
This is my absolute dream coach! I saw a video of it a few months ago and fell in love with it. Unfortunately, my wallet is not so infatuated. Way out of my price range...but a girl can dream right? Thanks for the inside look!
what do you like best about it Allentown Gal?
definitely the dry bath.
Gotta stash a bunch for that sticks 'n bricks(condo) that I know I will need when I'm too old to be wandering aimlessly around the country...lol.
that sounds like a good plan. might be able to pick up a used one for a good price.
Does the Wonder have the same cargo weight limitation as the Unity?
It's not the same. It has more cargo carrying capacity I believe. i think i put the occc in the wonder video.
Neil, I must've missed that. Even went back and watched a second time. Will grab the owner's manual and see what it says.
maybe i didn't put it in... sorry about that. i did with the atlas but the wonder was before i started trying to find all this information. part of the problem is that the manufacturers (some) don't make it easy to find out the number. likely because they know it isn't a selling point.
Ultramobility , based on a quick visit to the LTV web site, and a brief perusal of the owners manual, it appears the OCCC will need to be calculated.
unfortunately you can't calculate it. only they know the weight of everything that they added to the chassis. they are required by law to put the occc on the inside door panel so I'm going to have to look at that when i tour and review these vans since the manufacturers are not being forward enough with buyers.
Like you said, it's very well thought out, with a modern feel (compare and contrast to that Regency you reviewed recently ;) The drawbacks for me is their somewhat out-dated tech, like that 1000W inverter.
yeah i didn't get a chance on this review to check for staples unfortunately. the cabinets didn't feel solid. they felt a bit flimsy. wasn't happy with the puny 1000w inverter. can't even run your microwave off the batteries.
inverter was one of the things that stop me from wonder model. Also not 4 seasons
Great job as always Neal! Love this B+!!! LT is close, if not comparable fit/finish as the PW vans. If length weren’t an issue this would be a no brained for sure! Btw, did you happen to check if the wiring and control panels are similar to PW?
hey dan, LTV doesn't use multiplex wiring unfortunately...
Just noticed the 100w inverter..so the price goes up to upgrade. Thanks!
I love this RV . Thanks Neil. Does it come with a twin bed option?
yep leisurevans.com/wonder/floorplans/
Just found you and a new SUB. What is the editing SW and camera setup that you're using?
Did you happen to see the Creativity RV channel? She discusses her Leisure Travel van purchase. Very nice review, thank you!
Hers is the Unity MB which is almost as good but has a slideout and the Sprinter.
I think you drop about 10K when you drive out of the lot.
its lovelride - at least $10k likely more.
your right. wish I could have found my rig used. but its a new model and they dont have any used ones yet.
I'd really love to see you review a Pleasure Way with the Murphy bed and compare it to the Leisure Travel Van.
hi Michele as soon as I can find one I'm doing that review for you!
Yep. i believe the occc for the wonder is just under 1,000 lbs. fully optioned. not sure what it is for the MBs.
Once again, you've done a great job, thanks!
i liked the wonder. i am amazed that the PW Plateau xlmb is 3 feet shorter! it feels just as large to me.
Yup, the Pleasure-Way XLMB still sits at my #2 pick. There is something about the dual purpose use of space that I really like.
ranTrek hi what is your #1 pick?
Hi Mark. Thanks for the suggestion. What features did I guess on?
How to put the bed down. You do not have to lower the table first, it automatically goes down when lowering the wall.
Black water tank of 37 gallons is more than the gray water tank of 28 gallons. Wonder why these aren't reversed, seems unusual ?
Hi Neil, Thanks again for the great review. One question - I thought LV had a 2 year warranty based on your Warranty Video but in this video you posted 3 years.
thanks again for all the great insight.
yes my mistake. LTV has a 2 year basic limited warranty and a 3 year structural warranty. i didn't catch this error until after I had published unfortunately. so consider that 3 year in the video the structural warranty ;-)
This one is my favorite plan.. Just wish it was built on a MB... Oh well..
the Unity model is built on the MB and has a murphy bed option.
I just watched your video on this and then watched Dean’s. I was struck by how low the kitchen counters were on his video. Did you notice that on your tour? Either Dean is either freakishly long-legged, which I don’t suspect, or the kitchen is very low.
hi kathyln. the kitchen counters didn't seem low to me. they seemed normal height. Dean is taller at around 6 foot 3.
You didn’t show the open Murphy bed?! That’s the coolest thing about that B+ ;)
Ultramobility thanks Neil!
Neil, your write up says gasoline, but this transit chassis is diesel.
yes you're right. good catch. changing that now.
Thank u for doing these reviews. But I don't see the out side of this vehicle
hi Lucy will try to include that in the future. I've been hesitant in the past because I have been sneaking onto dealer lots to do these shots but recently the dealers have been more willing to work with me.
U can just post a pic of the vehicle from any of their websites
Mona - great idea.
Good video, but you really should have put the bed down, because that's a major feature in this RV.
yep been hearing a lot of that today ;-)
ItsaLovelyRide, where abouts in the NE are you located?
Near Portsmouth NH on the seacoast.
ItsaLovelyRide - Here's the nearest PW dealer to you: Campers Inn RV - Kingston
146 Route 125
Kingston New Hampshire 03848

Nice
Erm, hi. The standard short form of the word 'refrigerator' is generally 'FRIDGE'...
Your question, "WHY would I want a 3-way frig?" is kinda... suggestive... I mean, who wouldn't? 😉😂
lol. oh dear. I guess this one is one for the books! should I guess I should change the thumbnail as the way it is now could be considered click bait!
...yup... Hehehe..(!)
thumbnail changed. you can forever know that you are responsible for this NEW thumbnail!
This convext camera view is a bit bothersome. Can’t estimate correct dimensions.
sorry about that - i use lens correction but i guess it is still disorienting to some.
3 season?
ahhhhh good question. i don't think so...holding tanks aren't heated.
"A class B is all about mobilty, agility, and stealth." -- And a skull-crackingly low overhead. Some of us are too damn tall for campervans!
🎬 1 📽 🎞 🗣 🎙 🧐 🚐🌎🌍🌏 🚐 Outstanding, thank you so much for sharing. 🤔 🧐 ❤❤❤❤❤ 🚐 RV Journey ROAD TRIP! Small water Tanks
thank you One Journey for watching all my videos and commenting!
Why would you think a Ford chassis is better than a Mercedes? And do you do notice the squeaking hinges? This unit looks more utilitarian than comfortable. I usually agree with your commentaries but not on this.
A lot of viewers prefer forward because it’s maintenance costs are a lot less than Mercedes. And you’re right about the squeaking :-)
Please don't use 360 degree camera to shoot. Just use regular camera for better quality.
2018...Brand new...beautiful...spectacular....wonderful....SQUEEK...SQQUEEEEEK. Hello? Somebody lube the hinges please...
lol - yeah … i could have edited that out but thought it would be more truthful to keep it in!
The van looks awesome, but the rotating camera with the fisheye is making me nauseated...
sorry about that. I've gotten better at lens correcting things in newer videos.
is it a gas is it a diesel what size motor does it have chrissakes
Chassis - Ford Transit 350 HD Cab w/ 3.2L I-5 Turbo Diesel 185HP/350ft-lb w/ 6-speed Automatic Transmission
Review would have been more helpful if you actually showed the bed in action.
yep agree. sorry about leaving that out. it's really just a matter of unlatching and lowering like a normal murphy bed.
