Tbh showing how he uses his experience as an older idol to help the younger generation rather than show off, helps BTOB earn respect from fans, not to mention the respect they already have from other idols imo. I'm just blown away but how much joy Eunkwang has listening to and working with Seungmin and Jongho. Infectious joy.
Dude SKZ No Limit performance is one of the best performances in Kingdom full stop. Creative, Funny, Witty lyrics, Cool stage effects, talented live vocals, sick rearrangement of the songs.
I Loved Bobby's comment about Stray Kids "it was beyond our expectations. We had a character pop out from a movie, and there was also illusion effect, I think they did a mean job with camera work, too. They are truly the next generation K-pop idols taking the next step up." That right there is the point. I loved every single performance so far in each episode but this was Stray Kids coming out growing and improving each task and That's why they won!! I have literally started listing to the other groups because of this show and I'm happy that I finally get to see the full episodes to see and understand what happened during this time and not just watching shorts or what some pieced together. This was great and showed why I really like Stray Kids!!
The way innie had his hands joined all the time and the sigh of relief he let out when the vocal unit was performing, I can tell he was as nervous as Seungmin was😭 I adore their friendship so much😭💓

Ateez really knows what they’re doing. After they won the round with their Wonderland stage they chose to cover IKON’s Rhythm Ta and won again. Then they chose SKZ and BTOB to be with them and all the units won for rap dance and vocal. Lastly. The Mayfly teams all got top 3 I believe at the end of the Kingdom
It's really awesome how the vocal unit gave the chance to Seungmin to showcase his amazing vocals and unlimited talent. Even though I didn't understand anything , it was so soothing, it makes my heart calm. ❤
after watching this show, I realized that you have got to be creative, smart, talented and needs a lot of support. Others may think its unfair because of the votes, budget, and groupings but to be honest. They need to be smart in their every move it is a competition after all. All groups did great.
God really took his time making Seungmin cause imagine being talented, handsome, humbleness and good personality all at once. Truly the best vocalist of the generation and a great person overall ❤
Mayfly vocal's Love Poem just pure talent, skill and their charisma, no fancy flashy stuff around, they just stood on their platform the whole time and sang, but no one would think this is lesser than any other stages. it's quite smart also, bc it's refreshing.
I have rewatched Kingdom multiple times and I always wonder how amazing it would have been if Hyunjin was there with the dance performance team, if Mingi was part of the rap team, if I.N did not loose confidence with his singing and joined the vocal team, and if all of BToB was present. Additionally, though I may get a lot of hate, what if B.I was still part of iKon? Or if SF9 members did not have other projects and focused solely on this? It was a competition that resulted to many great performances but just imagine..
I said this from the beginning, if all of BTOB was there they would have had to pay the production team out of their own pocket for all the EXTRA EDITING they would have to do lol
I also wondered the same thing! But the one that I really have a lot of what ifs was about iKon. I remember watching WIN and Mix and Match, B.I. was the backbone of the performances. Even in WIN where they were divided into units, it was the performances planned by B.I. that won. Their performances would be a lot more creative with B.I.'s touch.
I know a lot of people felt betrayed when Straykids won. But seeing all the behind scenes, i think our boys really deserved it. They really took into account about their performance review and tried to do better each and every stage. They understood what was judged for on each rounds according to the theme. That was their strength that leads them to victory

Me for instance.... as a metal fan I don't consider skz too loud or noisy. Plus, before watching kingdom, the only other band I had heard of was ateez. If only korean voting was allowed then I'm almost certain that the results would have been different.

Oh 100%. Everyone worked hard but skz was going for it. It was insanely evident on their stage- the songs, concepts , performance , choreo, costumes, theme, stage. Everything from top to bottom was so well executed. Skz was going through a hard time back then, and I think stays know how much harder they tried for their lost one at the time.
Fan votes helped + JYPE 100% supported them. But it was mostly their drive to win like losing was never an option. All the teams are talented and worked really hard. So I felt bad seeing some of them get discouraged whenever their rank go down.
I watch kingdom from time to time to relive my first experience on mayfly's chemistry and performances. I'm so glad I watch kingdom, because I would never have loved Ateez as much as I do now. I'm glad I am able to witness Ateez' organic growth. Team mayfly! Fighting Btob(my first loves 😂) and Straykids!!
Conocí a BTOP por este programa y los ame ❤. Y eso que he visto series de su protagonista . El único grupo al que seguía hasta ahora era SKZ pero ahora también y ellos y IKON. Soy de la vieja escuela , ya te go 30 años y tengo años escuchando K-pop sin embargo sin seguir a ningún grupo hasta el año antepasado que conocí a los niños callejeros y ayer a BTOP viendo el programa por primera vez ❤

As for Atiny, even though this is our fandom trauma, I think it was a turning point for our boys and at the same time the introduction to the world of what ATEEZ really is: TALENT AND PURE BEAUTY.
i still clearly remember the trauma until this day (and i hope they and us, atiny, didn't get those treatments again in the future), but i do really love all their interactions. The positif sides, they put Wonderland Kingdom vers on their concert list (yeay ~ 🥳) and ATEEZ are getting more well known in Korea. Also the Mayfly vocal line is Legend, it still makes me cry. Thank you and Let's keep supporting them until the end, my fellow Atiny 🤗
As someone who bacame an Atiny after watching Kingdom (majorly since Symphony No 9 from the Wonderland), all thanks to this show I got interested about them! Watched it as a Stay and ended up becoming a hardore Atiny too-
It's interesting to read comments saying "But the Mayfly vocal group would have been so much better with or that this vocalist added!" and so on, because I really think one of the things that made that performance so moving was how much they did with so little--just three voices, beautiful harmony, and the music, kept fairly spare. There is a real art to making the most out of what you have in hand. Eunkwang did a fabulous job with the harmony and part distribution, it was very balanced and highlighted each voice beautifully, and each singer was so secure in their range and emotional take, that it just flowed in performance. The comments by the It's One team really express that. They said "They did all that with just their voices, they provided comfort with their voices" and "That was great teamwork". And the Mayfly vocalists talked about harmony, teamwork, "Let's really deliver our hearts to the audience."
i lost count of how many times i come back to rewatch ep 7 and ep 8 for the MAYFLY team !!! As SAN from ATEEZ said, we will never see any unit like them ever in the future. Their mash up from 3 diff teams rlly got me shocked regardless vocal, dance or rap !!! But imma vote for rap PLAYING WITH COLOURS !!! The hook just got stuck in my mind for real !! As a UEANA ofc, i rlly feel WOW of this cover as well !!! And the facial expressions of the dance team !!! It really leaves impact !!
These performances are why people love K-pop so much. They put so much time and effort into their performances, they have so much talent. Believe me when I say all their talent as well as time and effort they put into making these performances perfect does not go unnoticed. The K-pop industry deserves much more than what they are given. All these performances will go down in history as some of the best.
I remember feeling really bad for it’s one team, loosing all three rounds must be so devastating. I feel like they also should have included all members, so everyone could participate in these rounds not just main rappers danders vocalists. They did good job though I liked every performance of them. But imo they were not as happy to work together as mayfly team, as if they wanted to do the job and separate already. Idk man I felt so awkward watching them practicing together but I was enjoying their stages and that’s awesome
Definitely! It's One performances were all good, but Mayfly had the extra something, which I believe was their teamwork and clear chemistry. ATEEZ chose their team well.

Honestly I love Mayfly and i’m glad they won because I think the rap and vocal round was like a no brainer vote, but I do feel like The One should’ve won the dance round not because Mayfly didn’t deserve it. Their performance was super powerful and impactful, but The One did a pure interpret dance performance while Mayfly did any other cover so The One could’ve at least won that round.
I also agree that It's One had a real chance to win in the dance round (whereas Mayfly was definitely the clear winner in the other rounds). I think it just came down to taste/preference. When I first watched Kingdom, I thought Flying unit (Mayfly's dance unit) was the clear winner, but after watching this episode again, I can see how beautiful and unique It's One's dance performance was. Maybe Flying had more initial impact because they literally stacked most of their members into this unit and the performance was similar to something you would see at a year-end show like MAMA (which I think makes sense since they were inspired by EXO's MAMA performance or something like that). I think Mayfly played it smart, while It's One took a creative risk that was worth applauding.
They probably didnt win specifically bc of their faces, hear me out. Many kpop groups dont use their faces when they dance, in mayfly atz did bc they learned to dance in the us and thats how they dance over here. It makes it feel more impactful and brings you in even more than normal and if yoou know Lia Kim she LOVESSSS that, plus add the jumping choreo it was clear they were gonna win. Just my opinion tho
@@Moontesscreo que the one tuvo historia hermosa que contar , el guión fue bueno y el uso del escenario también , sin embargo aunque eran 3 egos de una sola persona , al momento de que el baile debia ser como uno , no lo fue y hubo momentos en que su expresión no es la que se espera de la escena aunque la melodía y el baile te lleven a esa sensación , y si, se trata de evaluar el baile , pero las expresiones corporales en conjunto con los movimientos ensambla una danza. Mayfly eran 9 y aún así , sus movimientos tuvieron mayor sincronía en casi toda la canción , además de que sus expresiones fueron completas en cada integrante y en cada escena , el punto extra quizás si fue el salto, pero muy bien recibido el premio 🏆. Realmente me gustó la historia que contó this one y el uso de utilería como la espada fue asombrosa , o el movimiento de la mesa , pero no es solo eso lo que se busca de un baile ❤
Mayfly was already such a solid team I really can't help but wonder what it would look like with Ateez, Straykids and BTOB had all of their members. Ateez really picked well because even limited the line up for all the subunits is insane.

@@arsa1143 Ikon did a Blackpink song before them so there could only be comparisons. Plus they killed it by having LISA as a guest during the performance itself. Almost unfair really though it did live up to the "no limits " brief. And as you may know; Chan and Felix are true Australian and a great many people from the land of Oz use cuss words as regular adjectives and nouns in daily casual conversations. (Cu-t is an example.) So you can imagine what might be said in high stress situations.... In the end skz's set was spectacular 👌 and in a separate league but still.....

I agree! As Yunho from ATEEZ said, this was a legendary performance. I think the vocalists from It's One knew as soon as the performance ended that Mayfly had won the vocal round. I think their teams knew too, but the vocalists especially would have known as fellow singers - you could see it in their faces and body language. The It's One vocal performance was a fine performance but May V's performance was flawless and conveyed the song's emotion perfectly - I had tears in my eyes as i listened to them.
I must say Eunkwang, Seungmin and Jongho made such a perfect vocal combo.💓 My heart raced so fast when they were singing, like my mouth was wide open the whole song. What a blessing to listen to their voices... I am a Stay and an ATINY but these performances have made me love BTOB too.
Yup. He practiced so hard to hit that note & not taken into account how much smoke was going to be released. The song was awesome other than the voice crack. I think Mayfly would have won either way though.
Having rewatched this show multiple times this round always left me thinking - a) imagine if Mingi, Changsub and Hyunjin participated, what more could mayfly have created and b) i actually do think the rap and dance battles were much closer, i don’t think if the it’s one team performed everything perfectly their performance would be on the same caliber - and I’m a huge fan of ju-ne’s voice so it’s painful to say. But in general you put music producers, performance experts and ballad gods on one team, so it’s just a bit tipped on the scales.
In terms of dance it's one should have definitely won and as much as I love skz, the dance unit of its one really had me focused on their story line and what it meant. Mayfly did deserve the win but it's one in my books had it in the bag. In terms of rap Mayfly deserved that one mainly because of the message they were getting across and how they got it across. As much as the rap of its one was good it was not as cohesive or followed a "storyline" like Mayfly did but they did good it was a really amazing way of using the beats and the way it was composed was amazing. The vocal bit had me on the edge of my seat. Both groups did good but I'll have to go with Mayfly it's one of my favourite performances on kingdom, but the vocal line of it's one really pulled through and it was good even though the voice crack was there it was an amazing performance overall and as much as they may have felt disappointed with themselves they did good and they pulled off their performances in an amazing way.
The thing with Kingdom: Legendary War was that it was full of ‘plot holes’ in a way, the task/missions the groups were given were never fully explained properly. The judging side of things was a complete mess, especially when they did the battle round. For example, they never explained how many members were required. Or if the brackets were only judged on ‘rapping’, ‘dance’ & ‘singing’ individually. Honestly what was the point in splitting them into brackets like this when you have teams still doing other things like rapping and singing during the dance’ battle round. Makes no sense. Also the way they judged that battle round was whack. Definitely tell bias views were in play for that round
Just so we're clear skz were not the only people without a member and going through stuff. All groups were missing a member, and San had lost a family member during this time. Do not use their struggles to say that one team wanted it more. They all wanted it and they all worked hard through tough times. They all deserved it, it just came down to who had the most support tbh. I'm an atiny now but at the time my main focus was GOT7 and I clearly remember jyp groups helping skz during this time bc they were the little brothers. They had the support that many on the show didnt.
I’ll be honest mayfly win because of there chemistry like in dance team wooyoung, peniel, felix and leeknow made the team members comfortable and in rapper team honestly all members were extroverts and good in making friends thats why they were comfortable (hongjoong was little like scared may be as he was junior but btob and skz made him comfortable) and in vocals honestly both jongho and seungmin are like introverts but eunkwang made them comfortable and they were able to perform a legendary performance. In other team chemistry was not that much good they were not comfortable around each other like off course working with people you don’t have talked more than 10 min is difficult. Ateez really picked the best team for them (all teams are best 👀) But hands off to mayfly team due as san said we can never find team like this and as hongjoong said they should go to graaammmyyyy and mamaaaa stage would be ripped in reallyyyyy smallll piecesssssss

As for Atiny, even though this is our fandom trauma, I think it was a turning point for our boys and at the same time the introduction to the world of what ATEEZ really is: TALENT AND PURE BEAUTY.
Why trauma?
i still clearly remember the trauma until this day (and i hope they and us, atiny, didn't get those treatments again in the future), but i do really love all their interactions. The positif sides, they put Wonderland Kingdom vers on their concert list (yeay ~ 🥳) and ATEEZ are getting more well known in Korea. Also the Mayfly vocal line is Legend, it still makes me cry. Thank you and Let's keep supporting them until the end, my fellow Atiny 🤗
As someone who bacame an Atiny after watching Kingdom (majorly since Symphony No 9 from the Wonderland), all thanks to this show I got interested about them! Watched it as a Stay and ended up becoming a hardore Atiny too-
FR! Our fandom grew a lot after Kingdom, despite the treatment it was nice to see our boys perform so well. I’ll always be proud of them.

It's interesting to read comments saying "But the Mayfly vocal group would have been so much better with or that this vocalist added!" and so on, because I really think one of the things that made that performance so moving was how much they did with so little--just three voices, beautiful harmony, and the music, kept fairly spare. There is a real art to making the most out of what you have in hand. Eunkwang did a fabulous job with the harmony and part distribution, it was very balanced and highlighted each voice beautifully, and each singer was so secure in their range and emotional take, that it just flowed in performance.
The comments by the It's One team really express that. They said "They did all that with just their voices, they provided comfort with their voices" and "That was great teamwork". And the Mayfly vocalists talked about harmony, teamwork, "Let's really deliver our hearts to the audience."
i lost count of how many times i come back to rewatch ep 7 and ep 8 for the MAYFLY team !!! As SAN from ATEEZ said, we will never see any unit like them ever in the future. Their mash up from 3 diff teams rlly got me shocked regardless vocal, dance or rap !!! But imma vote for rap PLAYING WITH COLOURS !!! The hook just got stuck in my mind for real !! As a UEANA ofc, i rlly feel WOW of this cover as well !!! And the facial expressions of the dance team !!! It really leaves impact !!
These performances are why people love K-pop so much. They put so much time and effort into their performances, they have so much talent. Believe me when I say all their talent as well as time and effort they put into making these performances perfect does not go unnoticed. The K-pop industry deserves much more than what they are given. All these performances will go down in history as some of the best.

This is my favorite performance in Kingdom. I saw the complete series last year and this is the one that left a massive impression on me
I remember feeling really bad for it’s one team, loosing all three rounds must be so devastating. I feel like they also should have included all members, so everyone could participate in these rounds not just main rappers danders vocalists. They did good job though I liked every performance of them. But imo they were not as happy to work together as mayfly team, as if they wanted to do the job and separate already. Idk man I felt so awkward watching them practicing together but I was enjoying their stages and that’s awesome
I absolutely agree with you. Itzone wasn't as cohesive as Mayfly and it showed even though they did well. It looked more like an IKON thing.

Definitely! It's One performances were all good, but Mayfly had the extra something, which I believe was their teamwork and clear chemistry. ATEEZ chose their team well.

Honestly I love Mayfly and i’m glad they won because I think the rap and vocal round was like a no brainer vote, but I do feel like The One should’ve won the dance round not because Mayfly didn’t deserve it. Their performance was super powerful and impactful, but The One did a pure interpret dance performance while Mayfly did any other cover so The One could’ve at least won that round.
I also agree that It's One had a real chance to win in the dance round (whereas Mayfly was definitely the clear winner in the other rounds). I think it just came down to taste/preference.
When I first watched Kingdom, I thought Flying unit (Mayfly's dance unit) was the clear winner, but after watching this episode again, I can see how beautiful and unique It's One's dance performance was. Maybe Flying had more initial impact because they literally stacked most of their members into this unit and the performance was similar to something you would see at a year-end show like MAMA (which I think makes sense since they were inspired by EXO's MAMA performance or something like that). I think Mayfly played it smart, while It's One took a creative risk that was worth applauding.
They probably didnt win specifically bc of their faces, hear me out. Many kpop groups dont use their faces when they dance, in mayfly atz did bc they learned to dance in the us and thats how they dance over here. It makes it feel more impactful and brings you in even more than normal and if yoou know Lia Kim she LOVESSSS that, plus add the jumping choreo it was clear they were gonna win. Just my opinion tho

@@Moontesscreo que the one tuvo historia hermosa que contar , el guión fue bueno y el uso del escenario también , sin embargo aunque eran 3 egos de una sola persona , al momento de que el baile debia ser como uno , no lo fue y hubo momentos en que su expresión no es la que se espera de la escena aunque la melodía y el baile te lleven a esa sensación , y si, se trata de evaluar el baile , pero las expresiones corporales en conjunto con los movimientos ensambla una danza.
Mayfly eran 9 y aún así , sus movimientos tuvieron mayor sincronía en casi toda la canción , además de que sus expresiones fueron completas en cada integrante y en cada escena , el punto extra quizás si fue el salto, pero muy bien recibido el premio 🏆.
Realmente me gustó la historia que contó this one y el uso de utilería como la espada fue asombrosa , o el movimiento de la mesa , pero no es solo eso lo que se busca de un baile ❤

Mayfly was already such a solid team I really can't help but wonder what it would look like with Ateez, Straykids and BTOB had all of their members. Ateez really picked well because even limited the line up for all the subunits is insane.

@@arsa1143 Ikon did a Blackpink song before them so there could only be comparisons. Plus they killed it by having LISA as a guest during the performance itself. Almost unfair really though it did live up to the "no limits " brief.
And as you may know; Chan and Felix are true Australian and a great many people from the land of Oz use cuss words as regular adjectives and nouns in daily casual conversations. (Cu-t is an example.) So you can imagine what might be said in high stress situations....
In the end skz's set was spectacular 👌 and in a separate league but still.....

I think the vocalists from It's One knew as soon as the performance ended that Mayfly had won the vocal round. I think their teams knew too, but the vocalists especially would have known as fellow singers - you could see it in their faces and body language. The It's One vocal performance was a fine performance but May V's performance was flawless and conveyed the song's emotion perfectly - I had tears in my eyes as i listened to them.

Having rewatched this show multiple times this round always left me thinking - a) imagine if Mingi, Changsub and Hyunjin participated, what more could mayfly have created and b) i actually do think the rap and dance battles were much closer, i don’t think if the it’s one team performed everything perfectly their performance would be on the same caliber - and I’m a huge fan of ju-ne’s voice so it’s painful to say. But in general you put music producers, performance experts and ballad gods on one team, so it’s just a bit tipped on the scales.

OMg I only just noticed Pennywise on Chan's coat in God's Du Du Du. So cool.
In terms of dance it's one should have definitely won and as much as I love skz, the dance unit of its one really had me focused on their story line and what it meant. Mayfly did deserve the win but it's one in my books had it in the bag.
In terms of rap Mayfly deserved that one mainly because of the message they were getting across and how they got it across. As much as the rap of its one was good it was not as cohesive or followed a "storyline" like Mayfly did but they did good it was a really amazing way of using the beats and the way it was composed was amazing.
The vocal bit had me on the edge of my seat. Both groups did good but I'll have to go with Mayfly it's one of my favourite performances on kingdom, but the vocal line of it's one really pulled through and it was good even though the voice crack was there it was an amazing performance overall and as much as they may have felt disappointed with themselves they did good and they pulled off their performances in an amazing way.

The thing with Kingdom: Legendary War was that it was full of ‘plot holes’ in a way, the task/missions the groups were given were never fully explained properly. The judging side of things was a complete mess, especially when they did the battle round. For example, they never explained how many members were required. Or if the brackets were only judged on ‘rapping’, ‘dance’ & ‘singing’ individually. Honestly what was the point in splitting them into brackets like this when you have teams still doing other things like rapping and singing during the dance’ battle round. Makes no sense. Also the way they judged that battle round was whack. Definitely tell bias views were in play for that round

Just so we're clear skz were not the only people without a member and going through stuff. All groups were missing a member, and San had lost a family member during this time. Do not use their struggles to say that one team wanted it more. They all wanted it and they all worked hard through tough times. They all deserved it, it just came down to who had the most support tbh. I'm an atiny now but at the time my main focus was GOT7 and I clearly remember jyp groups helping skz during this time bc they were the little brothers. They had the support that many on the show didnt.

I’ll be honest mayfly win because of there chemistry like in dance team wooyoung, peniel, felix and leeknow made the team members comfortable and in rapper team honestly all members were extroverts and good in making friends thats why they were comfortable (hongjoong was little like scared may be as he was junior but btob and skz made him comfortable) and in vocals honestly both jongho and seungmin are like introverts but eunkwang made them comfortable and they were able to perform a legendary performance.
In other team chemistry was not that much good they were not comfortable around each other like off course working with people you don’t have talked more than 10 min is difficult.
Ateez really picked the best team for them (all teams are best 👀)
But hands off to mayfly team due as san said we can never find team like this and as hongjoong said they should go to graaammmyyyy and mamaaaa stage would be ripped in reallyyyyy smallll piecesssssss
