They should have made a spinoff off with them and Bernadette. The kids and eventually a family for Raj. Jim Parsons character (Sheldon) grew tiresome after a while and the constant conflict between Penny and Leonard did as well. However, Howard and Raj just grew more enduring, interesting and so funny... to me their support was exemplary!
I feel kinda bad that Howard and Raj just started earning a million per episode by Season 11. They should’ve gotten it by Season 1! It wouldn’t be the same without them.

Wherever they shoot the show, and put her up in a fancy hotel and she got to go to set for a few days and got to see a live taping of the show, also raj and alot of the other cast let her come hang out with them in their trailers and the makeup crew even did a makeover for her and made her all pretty while they were getting some of the other cast members makeup and hair and stuff done, and tons of other stuff when they werent filming, and let her eat lunch with them, and they all spent tons of time with her over the course of the few days she was their and the director or producer or something i think? Asked would you like to be in the show? And she was like ummm yes!!!! So they even let her play an extra in the scene in the episode where sheldon pays stuart to wait in line for him, she got to be one of the people waiting in the line also! She said the whole cast, director and all the workers on set and the person who plays raj went above and beyond to make her make a wish as special as they could make it for her, so instead of the actor who plays raj just meeting her for an hour or so for like lunch or something which is usually all their supposed to do and she was told would probably happen, instead they spent all that time with her, signed tons of stuff, let her be on set for a few days and be at a live taping, she got to hang out with the cast, and be in the show!! Such awesome people, rlly down to earth and she said the person who plays raj and sheldon were so incredibly nice and kind to her, and she even got to meet some of the cast family as well, and also the person who plays raj also contacted her like 6 months later to see how her condition was doing, cause he and some of the cast were wondering and wanted to check up on how she was doing and asked if she needed anything let them know, which really goes to show how awesome and caring of a person the actor who plays raj and all of the other cast and crew are even being top A list celebrity's!

Personally, as much as I LOVE "The Big Bang Theory," I am very disappointed that the character of "Raj" did not get to have the right kind of girlfriend around the near-final season of the sitcom. In all honesty, I blame the writers for not allowing such an opportunity since the other characters have been in relationships already and its not fair at all.

Fun insights about the cast and show. But it's completely mis-titled. At no point did the video actually discuss any "strict rules the cast of BBT has to follow." All of the expectations mentioned are voluntary and revolve around interpersonal relationships and personal marketing efforts, none about requirements as cast or strict rules imposed on them by the producers or studio. I'd still love to hear what those were.
The closest they actually get to this is saying "Don't promote Marvel." But that's an expectation of the studio on the writers (due to WB ownership), not a strict rule the cast has to follow.

Another reason canned laughter is necessary is because audiences often see several takes of scenes. By the time you get to a 3rd, 4th, 5th retake, you’re expecting the joke and over the laughter.

I only started watching TBBT in reruns when a friend told me how funny it was. I became a big fan. Without all five of the main actors it would not have been as funny because each one of the guys were quirkey and nerdy in their own way. To have several different characters to go to for storylines gave the series a variety and vitality that kept it from being tiresome.Howard in his hideous outfits and his self delusions of sexiness was a riot. He and Raj should never have been paid less.
Again, Amy and Bernie didn’t join the cast until season 4. Raj and Howard weren’t expected to be main characters either. All 6 cast members of friends were SET to be main characters. Big difference there.

The laughter is crucial to liven the screen. Just look at Covid late night shows not performing to their normal live audience. The joke is still funny, but it falls flat. At least it's not an 1970s laugh track. THOSE were horrible.
The main characters and their storylines grew old after a while, and Sheldon just became annoying. But Raj and Howard evolved, they were funny, supportive, and should have had a spin off series of their own.

That’s why I enjoyed her being on and probably the only reason someone else didn’t play Leslie. Leonard was always meant to end up with Penny-that’s the whole point of the show. I am so connected to the character 'Sheldon' because I am literally just like him. I LOVE Theoretical Physics, Gaming and also his family is a lot like my family. I was heartbroken when Jim Parsons got off the stage and they decided to Stop the show at Season 12.😭😭
Raj and Howard were simply the spotlight of the show.. I mean their supposedly homosexual kinda friendship and Raj's motherly love for Howard was a full-on comic treat. And Simon Helberg is a stellar actor, his impersonations, his hoarse-voiced screaming with his mother, the banter when they all take dig about him still living with his mother, his flushed up face every time he is made fun of, his caring attitude towards Raj, his cute little creepy acts was what made TBBT more fun to watch. The show owns Howard and Raj a big thanks for making the show what it is now.
I liked Sheldon’s assistant and have no idea what happened to her. Watching Big Bang Theory is like comfort food for me so it’s on constant repeat right now. That and Downton Abbey.

Fun insights about the cast and show. But it's completely mis-titled. At no point did the video actually discuss any "strict rules the cast of BBT has to follow." All of the expectations mentioned are voluntary and revolve around interpersonal relationships and personal marketing efforts, none about requirements as cast or strict rules imposed on them by the producers or studio. I'd still love to hear what those were.
The closest they actually get to this is saying "Don't promote Marvel." But that's an expectation of the studio on the writers (due to WB ownership), not a strict rule the cast has to follow.

They mentioned something about the guys having to be clean shaven for their characters. Even though one of the later seasons Leonard came back with a beard (the season where he was away at sea).
Before everyone gets all upset about these “facts”.... since the show has been over for 2 yrs, and this just posted 3 days ago, these “facts” are about as correct as the crap from Facts Verse. It’s click bait for the algorithm..... Sara Gilbert was never meant to be more than a walk-on character. Kaley and Johnny chose to keep their relationship quiet. It was not a requirement, it was their choice. They have spoken about it in interviews, hardcore fans knew about it when it was happening, and knew about it ending.

I only started watching TBBT in reruns when a friend told me how funny it was. I became a big fan. Without all five of the main actors it would not have been as funny because each one of the guys were quirkey and nerdy in their own way. To have several different characters to go to for storylines gave the series a variety and vitality that kept it from being tiresome.Howard in his hideous outfits and his self delusions of sexiness was a riot. He and Raj should never have been paid less.

Always wished Raj had found his true love on the show. I know in real life Kunal is happily married to a beautiful woman. Will always love this show!!!

Me too! I’ve watched the repeats for hours and hours every night for all the years they’ve been in syndication, and then some. One night, in the NY area, you can see it for 5 straight hours on 2 different channels! I’m sure I’ve seen each episode more than a dozen times each! I was so happy Penny got preggers!

The laughter is crucial to liven the screen. Just look at Covid late night shows not performing to their normal live audience. The joke is still funny, but it falls flat. At least it's not an 1970s laugh track. THOSE were horrible.

I think she was only ever on the show so Roseanne fans could see “Darlene & David” together again. That’s why I enjoyed her being on and probably the only reason someone else didn’t play Leslie. Leonard was always meant to end up with Penny-that’s the whole point of the show. Not much for Leslie to do if he’s with Penny.

Raj and Howard were simply the spotlight of the show.. I mean their supposedly homosexual kinda friendship and Raj's motherly love for Howard was a full-on comic treat. And Simon Helberg is a stellar actor, his impersonations, his hoarse-voiced screaming with his mother, the banter when they all take dig about him still living with his mother, his flushed up face every time he is made fun of, his caring attitude towards Raj, his cute little creepy acts was what made TBBT more fun to watch.
The show owns Howard and Raj a big thanks for making the show what it is now.
I love all the casts. Bing Bang is still my favorite show. 💜
