Hej Hej! Just came across your channel whilst researching østmarka fishing. Some great videos here. I’m planning a trip here next June so would like to ask some advice. I’ll be driving from Oslo airport and looking to spend 5 days fishing and camping in the area. Where would be best to park? I’ll be lure, bait and fly fishing. Is worm the best bait and are these collected or best purchased. I’ll be using a travel rod which can be a fly rod or a lure/bait rod. When used as a fly rod it’s a 4 weight rod is this suitable? Any recommendations on specific lakes. Would love to fish for char alongside trout. Thanks for the great videos and I’ll have a look at the rest
You can park at Bysetermåsan or Krokhol Golfclub. Both placed u need to walk 2-3km to the lakes with trout. You shold get a hold on the book/magazin called OFA boka, there u will find all info about every lake in Østmarka. If u understand norwegian text. By ur nick i quess you are from Denmark? I only use flyrod, so other types of lures i no little about. But spinners like mepps aguila in copper with red spots is always a winner in tanin colored water. A 4wt rod is my first choise of WT.
