    The lawyer is correct 💯. Im a 15 year i.v junkie one year and six months clean/sober at tge rehabs i been to and worked at those medications do test meth thats why there is different labs that can test for Vyvanse Adderall but for people going to test for probation at the labs the labs will not test for Vyvanse or Adderall and will classify the pee or hair test as meth.

      I mean, he’s not wrong.
      A positive result for amphetamines when taking lisdexamfetamine (Vyvanse) isn’t a false positive - it’s exactly what you’d expect. Typically, after an initial positive result, a lab would conduct a GC-MS analysis on the sample to identify the specific drug in use. Following that, the person is usually asked to provide proof of a prescription for the detected medication-whether it’s Vyvanse or even methamphetamine (which, though extremely rare, can be prescribed in severe cases under the name Desoxyn).
      If what he’s saying is accurate, and they stopped after the first test without digging deeper, that’s seriously messed up.

      He is a top drawer criminal defense attorney. He could be very expensive. I was wondering why she would be paying top dollar for this attorney for a misdemeanor DWI case with an allegation of a probation violation. That does not make sense. Well, there is more to the story. She is also on deferred adjudication for a felony assault case with the sentence being 4 years of probation. If she gets caught violating here, you can bet the felony deal is also revoked and she is looking at a couple years, minimum, in state prison. In fact, this lawyer already filed to represent her in felony court. When he claims the felony court prosecutor is not pushing anything, I would bet that prosecutor is waiting to see what happens in this case.

    He clearly doesn't understand the level of seriousness in this matter. If his group home is for mental health or a group home for developmentally delayed. Honestly, he really can not be held completely accountable for his actions. As a behavioral specialist, I have been in and out of courtrooms for all types of human service populations.
    He needs behavior modification planning and a qualified staff to implement it. Also, medication to treat his outbursts and anger.
    He won't be jailed.

      Thirty years ago as an MHMR Case Manager I had a client who could not understand even that he should clean puppy poop off of his floor - or off of his own bare feet. I also knew his special ed high school teacher, and this young man was absolutely untrainable in any capacity. Once he made a 'friend' who convinced him they should rob his own father, who he lived with, when his SS Disability check arrived. They tried that, in the middle of the night, but neither of them were smart enough to bring a flashlight so they got separated and the 'friend' could not recall which house to rob... Then the spec ed child tried doing the strong-arm robbery alone, waking his very large father up. The effort failed as soon as the father recognized his child, but the fact that the teen was willing to rob the father of the money which provided him with his own food, clothing and shelter says a lot about his cognitive capacity - like what was he going to eat for a month after he squandered his dad's check or let it get stolen from him by the so-called friend.
      A person with a very low IQ is a different animal. We try to educate them, but their capacity for brain function and comprehension can be and often is very low. I've had clients who never spoke a word nor took one single effort to act as an aware human being - that was a sad case where the mother had German measles and it was not caught until the baby was born - she lived slightly over three years, blind in one eye and less aware of the world around her than a newborn babe. She would accept hand-feeding, but never moved nor uttered a sound that indicated she knew her mother, father, sisters, or other relatives.

      @@jamesleicherfacts about the mentally disabled being jailed or sent to prison. It's at sad because jail/prison won't fix it change a life long mental/physical disability. In The United States 40 states still do not pay the mental/physical disabled even minimum wage, they people like your child $5 an hour and everyone around your child is making minimum $15-19 an hour depending on that states minimum wage. America is so behind on helping the unique.

    • @AN-12345
      @AN-12345 10 дней назад +2

      Vyvanse can test as D-amphetamine, but the issue is that specifically methamphetamine was tested positive for, which is a different structure, and the lab tests are able to tell the difference.

    • @absentmindedjwc
      @absentmindedjwc 10 дней назад +3

      @@AN-12345 this. The only thing I can think of is that the lab didn't actually follow up on the amphetamine test (a simple test strip in urine) - a test that would trigger on methamphetamine, vyvanse, adderall, and many other ADHD stimulants. What they would normally do is follow up with a GC-MS analysis of the urine sample to see specifically which drug is being detected in the person's urine and deliver that result to the employer/court for next steps (provide a prescription to prove you're not abusing the drug).
      It really sounds like - if the lawyer guy is right - the lab did the absolute barest of minimums here and just said "yep, it's meth" and didn't go any further. Something that should be freaking criminal if true.

    • @JohnnyX7-m3m
      @JohnnyX7-m3m 10 дней назад +1

      I believe that too, however, the district attorney said she was taking Vyvanse AND Adderall! you do NOT take those together. That clearly is abuse. I take Adderall myself for ADHD and it is powerful stuff. I can’t imagine taking another similar analog along with it.
