The only airplane who can remplace an A10 is a new A10. I saw them in Belgium. There is no other plane than an a10.this is really unique and the best ground support you can get.

I live under a MOA in the mid-west flat land and I see A-10 pairs, several times a week, they fly very low and chuck out Flares while "Playing" sometimes. They wake me up screaming over the house at 3000 ft, but I don't mind! Saw a low flying KC-135 the day before yesterday.
