I belong to syro-Malabar Catholic Church.....or St Thomas Nazarite Syriac catholic Church (East Syriac)...of India....Qandisha Alaha.....Qandisha Hailsana......
Well you guys in India say the words wrong because it’s not your actual language however the word Qandisha is pronounced Qadisha Alaha that means holy is the lord and Hailsana is Halthana or Khaltana means holy the strong (god). Wish you either use Indian or pronounce the words right. 💙
@@Marsel-ov6yg3im5c There are multiple ways of pronouncing the words. Take Mandeans for example. They write it as "Maddeans" but pronounce it as "Mandeans", very similar to the Malabar Syriac usage. Also the word Assyrian should actually have been "Athurian" because of the way its written in Syriac, yet the "TH" sound is not stressed in "Assyrian", which again is similar to the Malabar Syriac usage. The Neo-Chaldean usage is heavily influenced by Arabic after the Islamic conquests, but since no such conquests happened in India, it's safe to assume they retained the Older system of pronunciation. Nevertheless, both churches follow the same faith.
@@bijogeojose7209 what you’re saying is wrong because the language is ours not yours my Indian friend, we are the native speakers of this language, we use Syriac inside and outside of the church. When I hear Syriac in the Syro Malabar Divine Liturgy it sounds like one of the languages in India since it has a very strong accent that wipe the Semitic roots. And just to know despite what you said about the Arabic influence both Arabic and Syriac are Semitic language making them related. Therefore, I’m not learning my language from an Indian or a guy whose my language and culture aren’t related. One more thing I like the Syro Malabar church because it’s a small sect that comes from Syriac Christianity and because we have the same faith. All love and respect.
We have the Saints Peter & Paul Parish Church here in Sydney which is english speaking in its liturgy ACOE, exactly the same liturgy and sounds, but in english 👌
B E O W U L F this is the liturgy of Addai and Mari it’s one of the oldest Christian liturgical mass u can look up the Church of the East or Assyrian or Chaldean church
The faction of this Church that joined with the Catholic Church became the Chaldean Catholic Church, which employs a Latinized variant of the Liturgy of Sts Addai and Mari. There's an archdiocese in India too that's referred to as the "Chaldean Syrian Church". Also, the Indian faction that is fully in communion with Rome is the SyroMalabar Catholic Church.
