Suzal Gautam Hi, firstly take the sat diagnostic test and then later u can determine your weaknesses and strengths. Study the lessons that u have some troubles in. Take many practice test as u can and if you don’t see any improvement, I suggest you prep books to understand the basics.
Found this video particularly helpful! I've taken at least 40 practice tests now and I started scoring in the 1190's then gradually got my self up to a 1350-1420 range. I am really losing my mind at the reading comprehension questions but I am pretty decent/ solid at the math, but just a few knick nacks

@Ingenuity thanks a lot for this, I really needed motivation. I’ve been learning on Khan academy and I’ve my SAT on 5th dec, I wish it get a good score bcs people frighten me by saying “ 1 month is not enough”
You need to tame this beast. It obviously helps to know the math principles and be a strong reader, but after that, the key is budgeting your time on passages and questions, and skip over hard stuff to make sure you have enough time to do the stuff that isn’t so hard. A test taker that is able and willing to bounce around within the test is the one that will do well.

I need help I don’t know how to study instead I just use the hint button on the practice questions a lot. When it comes to the math I’m horrible at it my last SAT score is a 840
if you are bad at math then its just about learning how to solve the basic kinds of questions such as inequalities, absolute value, linear equations and graphs, sets of equations and things like that. Also a good thing to learn would be converting word problems to equations.
I’ve been trying to study for this sat. Throughout the whole summer. I took many practice tests and I’m still stuck between 800-900 on khan academy’s practice test. I’m on skill 4 for the reading level and skill 3 for the math level. But however I can’t seem to touch the 30s and 40s on the reading multiple choice sections. Highest I got was a 28 :(. Now matter how hard I try and study. I feel like I get no where. Despite me mastering the practice questions. The test is where I fall short. For math I got a 430 on the sat. I can’t seem to get my self in the 20s or 30s for math test questions. Yet I’m on skill 3 on khan academy. Idk what to do. I take the test oct 3. And I’m starting to feel absolutely hopeless
when i go over the fundamentals, i usually know 90% of them but i really can't solve the practice tests efficiently, the highest I've scored is 1160. my sat is in less than i month and now I don't know what to do. 😔😔
Don’t be demotivated.Just practice more and more ,address your mistakes and you can definitely improve. Even I increased by 250 points As much as you practice, work aggressively on weak areas and most importantly analyse your mistake, then you can definitely do better.

Hi I have just found your channel, I am not American, have recently graduated high school in my country at 16. I need to take the SAT to apply for college in America, the SAT exam is very new to me and atm I am very lost. I have no idea where to begin and would highly appreciate any help I can get on how and where to start preparations. Thanks.
I'm new to all this. My son is a sophmore. Not sure where to begin. Would he do this instead of a psat? Or do this in prep for a psat? Does he need to take a psat? If so when should that be taken? We really haven't prepared for any of this and I could really use your advice. When is the best time to take the SAT? Thanks.
Good day! I assume you have found out already since it has been a year, but here is some good information. 1. If your son is a sophomore, it would be worth it to take the PSAT. It can give him the chance to take the National Merit Scholarship and have a full ride to college. 2. He should still take the SAT as many scholarships and colleges look at that in applications. 3. There are many prep books dedicated to the PSAT, but if he studies for the SAT, he is essentially studying for the PSAT (more than he has to in fact). I hope this helped!
I assume you're asking this question because you don't want to "waste" any of the official practice exams. However, I think it's helpful to take a test without deliberate prep just to see where your baseline is. From there, you'll have more insights into your weaknesses. Be sure to check out my videos on recommended resources (ruclips.net/video/VI0ImgcPglU/видео.html) and how to use them (ruclips.net/video/3are_Angz4g/видео.html)!
