Great tips! I like the episodes where you interview expats/retirees living there. Any of those episodes coming up?

I lost my phone on the flight from Phuket to Chiang Mai and bought a new iPhone at the mall, and I had my kids look in California and I paid almost exactly the same price in Chiang Mai. So lucky! And when my laptop's power supply went out, it was very easy to find a replacement on a Sunday, which surprised me.

Do you recommend downloading the Grab and Tuk after arriving Thailand or should download at home country before departure? Thanks.

Hi there, thank you for reaching out. It's enough to download the apps once you arrive to Thailand, but if you want to get familiar with the lay out, you can download them prior departure, too.

I am interested in visiting/possibly moving to Thailand. Are there many women that move there alone? I have searched YT and find NO channels of women that are my age (almost retired) that have moved there. I need some guidance, or motivation, or something. All the channels are of men or interviews with couples... or young women in the party scene.

Nice vid, practical advice. So they put sugar and syrup into fresh fruit delicious somoothies? How about fruit stands with cleaned, pealed and sliced fruit? Safe and clean in your opinion? Since I hear no tap water drinking in Thailand.

HI there, thank you for your kind comment.
That is correct, syrup in smoothies is a very common thing in Thailand, even though Thai fruit is fresh and very sweet on it's own. Yes, fruit from street markets is definitely safe, tasty and extremely cheap, too. Drinking tap water is not recommended, sticking with bottled water is a much safer option.
